What a great neighborhood place! Obviously, as you can read from all the other comments, the setting is really cool. It has an old diner and almost ice cream shop vibe! Classic menu items for breakfast and the food was tasty. Our server was kind and funny and made the experience enjoyable.

Fun little while in the wall. Well actually it's a cute little diner inside a corner store market in a local neighborhood in Bellingham. It has that fun quirky vibe Bham is known for. We decided to come because of the great reviews. We're a little surprised when we arrived at the location but it was worth it. DEFINITELY a "vibe". Service was good, friendly and attentive. Suzy had a great smile and was great at answering our questions and making suggestions. She and the other server tag teamed so you never had an empty coffee cup and if you needed something you didn't have to hint them down. They really anticipated your needs. Something so many servers today are missing. Food was great. My hubby ordered the classic. Ever medium eggs bacon potatoes sourdough toast. His eggs were perfectly done. I ate the corned beef hash with over easy eggs. The homemade raspberry jam was so delicious. We saw a diff customer eating their giant pancakes so we decided to order ONE to share. They were fluffy and you. Could taste hints of vanilla. The fresh fruit was one of the topping options. Serving sizes are plentiful. We took stuff home and the coffee (I'm a snob) was really good drip. If we're in the area again we'll definitely come back.

My first time eating at the new Nelson's Market (new ownership), and I'm very impressed. Five of us had breakfast outside, and all aspects were great. Very relaxed atmosphere, perfect service, good food, and prices very reasonable. Very happy that Nelson's is back on its feet and part of the community.

Great spot for lunch/ dinner with a super cool vibe! We came here for an early dinner and weren't disappointed. The restaurant was clean with a great atmosphere. I got the Nelson's burger with grilled onions and blue cheese, and it was fantastic! The fries that came with it were also perfectly crispy. Service was quick and friendly, and they've got a nice place inside for basic groceries/ snacks. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious food, no wait and friendly staff. Sides include potatoes or black beans (seasoned well). Loved our weekend breakfast experience.

Hamburger and fries; club sandwich and fries.

Quickly seated. Great friendly service and good food. Bacon a little too crispy but other than that a quick and simple food spot.

Wonderful breakfast menu. Get the fruit plate, by itself or as a substitute! And the outdoor seating makes for a pleasant meal!

Amazing breakfast! The jam is off the hook. Also, they sell old school big glass bottled soda.

The dining room was elegant yet cozy, with great lighting. The staff was also very friendly and our waiter was very helpful in aiding our choice. We ordered the Focaccia bread, the salmon momtadito and the tonnarelli as our entree. The focaccia was the only dissapointing item as it was very basic in my opinion, which isn't bad but just nothing exciting to write about. The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!

The waitress was awful, she kind of wandered back and forth because she couldn't multi task. She forgot various things we requested. Some guy came out (bartender maybe) and asked us how things were, but he answered his own question with 'good' and walked off. If he would have allowed me to answer I would have told him. Came here years ago now I remember why this place isn't a regular happy hour location for us. Just all around gross. Will never be back.

The Loft is a happy hour favorite from yesteryear. And I'm pretty sure I haven't visited in at least 5 or 6 years. It used to be an after work happy hour staple for me and my Bham friends. With great drink prices and delicious appies, it was always a win. Yesterday, The Dude and I hit them up for happy hour and I was excited to see some of their old staples still on the menu - including reasonably priced beer and their famous dry ribs! We also grabbed a caesar salad and a side of garlic rosemary mashed potatoes to share. The dry ribs were all that I remembered. They're tender yet crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were tasty, too. The salad was a disappointment, unfortunately. We also enjoyed a couple of beers, which are only $5.50 on the HH menu. Our server, who was also the bartender, was incredible! And of course, you can't beat the beautiful harborside setting here.
