Went in to restock on my pods and was greeted by Sarah. She offered me some free tasting of new pods after she checked me out and helped me get my pods.

Bought a Nespresso machine for my in laws and they absolutely love it. Service was great and they let you sample coffee in the store which is awesome! Go get you one if you're a coffee lover!

I may not be George Clooney, but a good cup of coffee is important to me and I wanted to see what all the buzz was about. First, I have to confess that two out of my three children have a Nespresso machine and they like it. I went in to look at the different models and compare choices. The store is sleek and very modern. There is a wall of machines on one side and a tasting area on the other side. I spoke with a very nice salesperson about the features on the machine and how to work it. It is not cheap at $250 dollars, but they are on sale now. My favorite feature is the froth machine. You put milk, cream, or flavored creamer and this machine whips it into a delicious foam, that makes any coffee taste awesome! Every time, I am at my daughters, I ask her to make me a cup. The salespeople were very nice. The store is beautiful. I haven't taken the plunge yet, but something tells me that I may be back to purchase a Nespresso coffee machine. Especially, while the machine is on sale. :)

I'm a fan of this Nespresso Boutique located on the second floor of Westfield Montgomery Mall (directly across from Lush). I've been a few times now and service has always been good. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and don't hover over you while you browse the store. They have a good selection of Nespresso machines, capsules (VertuoLine and OriginalLine), and accessories (cups, milk frothers) to choose from. Not familiar with how the machines work, the staff will be more than happy to provide you with a demonstration. Their complimentary coffee bar is a nice touch. Great way to try out one of their flavors (even the limited edition ones) before purchasing a whole sleeve (10 capsules/sleeve). They even have milk and sugar for those who don't drink it black. Not sure which one to try? Tell an associate what you like and they will be more than happy to help you decide. Grab a cup and sip while you browse! Before you leave don't forget to pick up a recycling bag for your capsules, which are composted into soil or used to make new capsules. Once you fill it up, you can drop it back off at a Nespresso Boutique or your nearest Williams-Sonoma, Sur La Table, UPS location/box.

Great customer service. The store is always clean and decorated. I come here for pods that may be sold out online or through their app. On both occasions customers were rude to staff and staff continued to be courteous and willing to help in anyways they could. One couple seriously tried every flavor and walked out the door with out a purchase. This was after being rude to a staff member. People are cray cray during the holidays!!!

Bleck! The coffee tastes like Starbucks. So cool? If you are into that? I'm not into that. Because it's garbage. I guess I have to give them at least 2 stars for handing out free samples of coffee for every free-loading Marylander that shows up. Seriously bad coffee though. And the ecological implications of the disposable coffee pods is just beneath a progressive state like the MD.

There's a good selection of pastries and I ended up choosing a coconut cream cheese option that was pretty good and flaky. I wanted to try the pistachio croissant but to be honest it looks incredibly unappetizing. I wish the presentation was different. I did have their London fog and it comes with sweetened honey. So good! Service was really good. It's essentially self serve but staff are quick on the orders.

You pick your pastries from the self-serve shelves. Some items looked like they had been sitting out for a while and were a little dry, while others had just been restocked and looked much fresher. Most of the selection leans toward buttery, laminated pastries, such as croissants, Danishes, and croffles rather than baguettes or rolls. They also have fresh cakes displayed near the counter. The two pastries we had were both good and satisfying. The pain aux raisins had a moist texture with a gentle sweetness. The croffle itself was nicely buttery and delicious, although the cream on top was a bit too heavy for my taste. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and location. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the coffee was only lukewarm, which was a letdown. Parking really depends on the time and day. We were lucky to find a spot right in front, but the plaza gets busy since there are several popular stores/restaurants, so it can be competitive if you're aiming to park close by. Overall, I'm happy to have another French-inspired Asian bakery option in Rockville.

There was every kind of croissant you can imagine. I bought my favorite almond croissant. There were fruit and cream filled pastries. I bought a fruit and cream filled pastry too. There are cases filled with pastries. Service was great. I was waited on right away and they packed my box in a bag with a handle, to make it easier to carry. Au revoir, for now! There's seating inside, but the seating area is pretty small and some people were at tables looking like they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. It was a nice morning, so we were able to grab an outside picnic table. The service was decent. One disappointment was when the counter person asked me if I wanted room for cream in my coffee, I said yes and asked if they had nondairy products. She said they had almond and soy. I asked for soy and she returned with my drink. When I went to pay, I saw they charged 79 cents for almond, soy and oatmilk. Ok. Here's the thing. I assume it's on the board and I should have looked, but she also could have mentioned it. Also, charging for these items when they put a little in your coffee leaves me feeling like I'm being abused for not being a dairy person. I get it - it's a pastry shop and the items are buttery and rich from cream. But please - 79 cents for a little soy milk? (I know this isn't uncommon for coffee shops, but it doesn't make it right.). And the coffee ($4.25) was decent - not great. I expected better (richer, more flavorful) coffee from a nice pastry shop like this. Anyway, it's a nice neighborhood place and there's a lot of treats there.

Any Marylander of the Boomer and GenX generation knows about O'Donnell's RUM BUNS. I used to come here with family back in its heyday and these were served table side before our meal. How crazy is that, a nice lil somewhat sinful dessert BEFORE some MD crab?! Those were the days! The rum buns are more nostalgia more than anything, I wouldn't say they'll blow your socks off, but hey, nostalgia is nostalgia. Well, I'll need to dine in here for a full and complete verdict, but my quick grab and go visit was a tad chaotic. Service for taking orders could improve - you walk in, there's a seafood counter to your left, bakery counter to your right (both were unmanned when I walked in) and in the middle is a deli section with the cash register where I assume they take orders. We stood there for a few good minutes before getting anyone's attention despite the fact a manager asking staff (not customers) if everyone was being helped. Clearly staff did not know who was waiting to check out, take orders or just waiting for their orders to arrive. So it was just weird. No one greeting you as you walk in either, it just also weird because there's no clear line anywhere you stand. Otherwise, rum buns were as I remembered them. Also picked up crab dip and chicken salad from the grab and go section from the back and they were just ok, not bad, not great. So will come again for a future visit hoping to have a much better meal and experience!
