    Cheese Grilled Philly Steak Sandwich
    Victoria E.

Would like to give more stars as food was good but service was non existent. The Philly sandwich was good the fry's great ! Waitress would give a 1 star did not bring items /condiments asked for and since never saw her again never got. Drinks went dry, it was lunch but still some staff standing around. Loud busy place with usually good to great food.

    Omlette

The only star is for the staff--our server was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was really disappointing. * The mushrooms in the omelette were undercooked. * The jalapeños were pickled (not fresh), and the cheese quality was subpar. * The tortillas in the migas tasted stale. We ended up leaving most of the food untouched but were still charged for everything. Our server actually called the manager over, but instead of being understanding, the manager was defensive about the food. He did offer to replace the food but we didn't want to take that chance. Overall, not worth the price and not a good dining experience.

Nothing fancy. An institution this is here at Preston Hallow. Dependable good service. For lunch, I love their Chicken Salad or Reuben Sandwich. At teatime, coffee and cake please. Not only a cafe, their beautiful store is filled with lovely Belgium chocolates and imported sweets. With so many closed, happy I am that this LOCAL neighborhood gem survived the pandemic. CHEERS!

This review is a breakfast review as we went for breakfast today- I grew up going to Neuhaus as a kid and always looked forward to it- I mean what kid doesn't love a place with tons of chocolate and candy??! It was a dream!! Honestly, I hadn't been for years, partly because I don't live in town. I was excited to try it again. The pancakes are huge ! Kids loved the pancakes! I had the avocado toast- it was good. I would have preferred pickled onions on top instead of raw as I feel like that is pretty normal for avocado toast. Egg was cooked well. Next time we will try lunch !! Our kids left with of course a sweet treat ! They also have a nice outside space even with heaters which was a great setup. Definitely try out this gem!

Me + 2 kids love coming to this little coffee house to enjoy an afternoon of computer stuff or board games. The ice cream sundaes are wonderful as the teas and their brownies! We have yet to eat lunch at this establishment but see other patrons enjoying their meals. We'll have to venture back to do that next time. The great thing is if you are needing a special chocolate gift for someone special, you can shop there for a very unique and delicious gift!

Went here for breakfast. Oh what a disappointment. Bad service, slow service, and worse food. Eggs were only barely warm and poorly mixed.

Delicious food all around. Love their Buttermilk cake. They also have a lot of candy from my favorite past times.

The rotating pictures that were on the screen were all of grease and it really transported you to Greece. One of the people that I was with said certain smells just brought back so many fond memories of her time in Greece as a teenager The music was so pleasant. The conversation was good. It wasn't loud we could hold a conversation. I really appreciate it the mood and style of the restaurant now let's get to the food. The food was amazing. The lamb was cooked perfectly. Everyone seem to enjoy the Lamberger the lamb chops. I enjoyed my Lamb and the other person enjoyed her chicken so it was a win all the way around we were so full at the end of the meal we shared the crème brûlée, which was very good as well so we walked away very satisfied very full and thank you Ziziki's for the fantastic service that you offer us so pleasant so kind we thank you.

I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.

No regular ice tea, only flavored. Disappointed in the Hot Lopez (spicy/sweet fried chicken sandwich). It was a little spicy but way too sweet. The fried chicken was tough and seemed like more breading than chicken. The skinny fries tasted stale. My friend liked his fish tacos, which looked awesome.

The young lady who worked the front had a blank look on her face with no smile, like she didn't want to be there. I ordered a combo, but she didn't indicate what size drink I got so I just grabbed a regular-sized cup. After I got my drink I came back to the front counter and she had just laid the sandwich at the front without giving me notice that it was ready. If somebody else had come in they could have grabbed it. I was working on a writing project on my computer, but the atmosphere at the restaurant made this a considerable challenge. Loud R&B/rap music was playing during my time there, and some of it was laced with f-bombs and the n-word. I'm all for having (there goes another n-word on the in-house stereo system) music while working, but the volume needed to be cut in half at least and the profanity needs to be cut out completely before more customers complain. As for the disinterested young lady who doesn't appear to be enjoying her job, you better act like you care and turn the music down a little or you won't have a job in the near future.
