Changing your lifestyle to Vegan can be difficult when ordering Take Out. You have to be creative with your taste buds and you've got to be careful about what you are consuming. While visiting a friend on Long Island during this mess of a Nor'easter in March, I yelped on Eat 24 to find some delicious delivery for Chinese American food. New China offers a refreshing menu of AMERICAN Chinese cuisine with a plethora of vegetable dishes. What makes NC different from the rest? Great customer service, Efficient delivery FRESH vegetables and no high sodium ! I ordered a large Vegetable Lomein with a order of scallion pancakes. The vegetables were so fresh and so crunchy. The fresh snap peas, carrots, mushrooms and broccoli were awesome. For once I had a Lo Mein without any OIL! Thank You New China. My delivery arrived on time and the delivery man was very kind. For the weather to be as bad as what it was, he had an awesome attitude. I will be ordering again soon.

I've been going here for lunch since they make good Chinese food for a decent price. I prefer the veggie lunch special with pork fried rice. It also comes with a choice of soup or egg roll. I got the sweet and sour soup, it tasted really good. Will be coming back here.

This place is decent for a Chinese takeout in L.I. especially when you don't want to drive all the way to Flushing for Chinese food. I ordered their sweet & sour chicken w/white rice and fried chicken wings w/fried rice. The sweet & sour chicken was crispy and tender as well as the fried chicken wings (a bit underseasoned though). The food was tasty, cheap, fast and they give generous portions..can't beat that!

They gave me so much sauces and fortune cookies!

My first time ordering today and I really like this spot! The food comes out looking so fresh! Im also happy they dont use the normal styrofoam containers other take outs use.. The food looks and tastes great and delivery was so quick! Definitely my new favorite spot if im looking for fast chinese food.

We've been looking to add more Chinese restaurants to our regular rotation, and I think we may have found a new favorite! We were greeted and seated immediately upon walking in. The restaurant has an elegant, classic atmosphere with crisp white tablecloths, giving it a timeless and welcoming feel. The entire team was attentive, professional, and courteous. Our servers, Cecelia and Philip, were both warm and friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. When the restaurant was a little quieter, I had the opportunity to chat with Cecelia, who told me that she has been working here for 37 years and that the restaurant itself has been around for nearly 40 years. You could tell she takes great pride in what she does. That says a lot about both the restaurant and the people who work here. With the warm and attentive service we received, it's easy to see why they have been around for so long. For dinner, Hubby ordered the white meat General Tso's chicken and said it was the best he's ever had. The white meat was exceptionally tender and flavorful. I ordered the vegetable pan-fried noodles and was very happy with the generous amount of fresh vegetables. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Each of our dishes also came with a bowl of white rice. We will definitely be back soon!

We are what we served our selves round two. Again they where lingering and observing what we served our selves. My guest saw they had put out ribs and attempted to serve them selves and the waitress said no eat you lunch that dinner. This drew attention and I said if that's dinner we'll pay dinner what's the problem. No you lunch she said. I was dumb found. So we went back to the booth shrugging it off. 5 minutes past and here comes the check. I'm just digging into plate two. She then came over thinking I was done mind you the plate is more than half full. Grabbed my fork and ask me if I was finished. At this point I wanted to speak with management. But guess what folks there was no one that spoke English fluently enough to have a conversation. From what I got from the male who's job is to watch and stir the food. There was no one in management present. At this point I was ready to go ASAP. All I got because I was flustered was sorry sorry. I paid my tab leaving my plate partially full and walked out. My guest left a pair of glasses behind and we had to go back to retrieve it. I will never go back and would not recommend this buffet to my worst enemy. I was insulted, embarrassed and hungry. In conclusion I called later on that evening and left a message because no one answered go figure. It is now 10:15 pm and have not received a call back to address my concern. Again go figure. So don't bother you might get more than you bargain for. True story. Written by Victor velez the guy who would have tipped.

All of the dishes we tried were hot and came out quickly. The steamed dumplings had a good amount of filling and were nicely seasoned. The house special noodle soup had chicken, beef, and veal(?) and the noodles still had nice texture, the broth was flavorful. We ate Crispy Beef, Chicken and Tofu and Moo Shu Veal. We had white rice and brown rice. Everything was excellent.

Unfortunately, my actual dining experience was a bit of a miss. I ordered a broad spread to give the menu a fair shot--chicken wings, fried rice, dumplings, and noodles--but the flavor profile just wasn't there. The food lacked seasoning, and the wings and dumplings tasted as though they had been refried rather than freshly prepared. The space itself felt a bit disorganized, with boxes cluttering the seating area where you're meant to grab your sauces, which took away from the atmosphere. To add to that, the person taking my order seemed unfamiliar with the menu and made me feel a bit rushed through the process. I deeply respect what Wing Wan does to accommodate specific dietary needs (like kosher and halal considerations) for the Long Island community. However, between the rushed service, clutter, and tired flavors, the food just didn't live up to that first impression at my work event.
