Ordered: Dinner Buffet (~$20): Mon-Thurs after 4pm price Aya's take: If you're coming to a buffet knowing the price then there's a fair chance you just want to eat a bunch of food without thinking too much of the quality. And that's exactly what you get here. Surprisingly, they have a variety of seafood options (different types of shrimp, crab, calamari, etc.) which is great at that price point. Most of the food was mediocre, greasy, or lacked freshness. But you get what you pay for. I didn't find it to be very clean (I had to clean the shrimp myself and got grossed out after a while). The appetizer and dessert options were lacking. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here let alone come back, but if you find your way here, make the best of it by getting the seafood options only.

    How they serve us

The food was okay, Just is crazy how much money they ask for tips, and they only serve us water soda etc.

    Roaches

If I can give no stars I would. Worse place ever, roaches running around. I threw up after eating. Got food poisoning. Save yourself and your stomach don't come here.

It's ok. The place always smells a bit off. And the staff is about as unfriendly as they come. But it's ok. Not terrible.

Super authentic flavor that stays in your soul after eating. Th e beef noodle soup was insane an so flavorful. Everything was amazing and on par with being in Thailand. Fish cake and Breaded Chicken were dry. Food trays on warmers but don't think they kept them hot enough, like the fried rice which was cold. Had to ask about the 6 curries - weren't labeled at first. From different regions. Some had proteins like chicken feet, pork, chicken. One was fish but only saw a few pcs of halved fishballs. The peanut curry was slightly sweet and was just the sauce. One was very spicy so just took the veggies and meat. Instructions were finally posted on how to put together the curries with the noodles and toppings, which were set up on the table as well. It was a good tasting. Service was good. Preferred cash payment but accepted credit cards with added 3% fee. Decor was bright with colorful flowers hanging from ceiling etc. Space is not that big. Restroom available. Some street cleaning parking and the rest were metered along Whitney Ave.

The lunch price was about $26 AYCE. There's a checklist with all the options; we did 1 sheet at a time for my family. Larger groups can share a variety of rolls since 6-8 pcs each, and some have larger than bite-size pieces. After a while also, they started tasting similar to one another. I remember liking the sashimi appetizers before but this time, there's a thicker sauce on a few of them which I didn't like. For appetizers/cooked food, I liked their flaky/not-oily shrimp tempura, and beef negimaki. We had to be mindful of how much we ordered after the first 2 rounds. I actually felt full quickly. They have a regular menu for those not into the AYCE. The Chicken Katsu was a big serving. Service is good. Not long of a wait for the food. Restroom available, can be maintained better.

Who can deliver the most underwhelming plantains and dubious cuts of meat... that are more like a fat delivery system, than part of a main course? It's either that, or both Copacabana and Aroma must have signed a non-compete agreement with their underwhelming offerings. I also get the impression they are trying to broaden their appeal to non-Brazilians. But in their attempt to cater to the broader Latin American palate, they've diluted the vibrancy that Brazilian cuisine is known for. It's like they took a samba dance and turned it into a slow ranchera - it just doesn't have the same energy. Sure, it's a dance, but where's the rhythm, the spirit, the flavor?

The buffet table was smaller than at the TS location and there seemed to be less choices. But the thing we were most disappointed about was the inconsistency with service - we kept waiting for the meat to come to our table but we kept seeing the servers going to other tables (on the outsides, and we were in the middle part of the dining area), then leaving and therefore skipping us. It was not just one server but multiple servers, they clearly have a problem with making sure all tables get the same service or number of stops. We eventually had to flag down someone to ask to be served. The meat served was also mostly the cheaper cuts, even though it's a holiday and everyone in our party was playing full charcuterie experience price. We were all disappointed with the quality of the meat. I'll still go to Fogo but I'll not be coming back to this location for sure.

Having traveled from Pennsylvania based on positive experiences Ive been here few times before, I expected a much better experience. The service felt off from the start due to I was speaking Thai and waiter/waitress likely judged that I do not speak English. My husband heard the whole conversation and it bothered him at the moment led him to feel unwelcome, but I told my husband that I don't care what they think so we can enjoy our meal. The overall atmosphere was rather strange for an all-you-can-eat buffet. The total bill for two adults came to ~$74 We ordered two sets of pendant bread () for takeout, and we left a $10 cash tip on the table. Almost immediately after placing the cash down, the waitress approached and asked if it was a TIP making a VISIBLY DISPLEASED expression before walking away. As we were leaving, I was confronted by the owner or head manager (me and him spoke Thai) inquired what was wrong with the service. He stated that the waitress had complained about the TIP amount less than 10%. We explained that we had not included the approximately $30 takeout order in our tip calculation, especially considering it was a buffet restaurant. A quick calculation would have shown that the $10 TIP represented roughly 15% on the dining portion alone, and the waitress's primary contribution during our visit was simply providing water and choice of 'appetizers'. I gave them 5 stars on google and yelp 6 years ago (going to delete it) I have always recommended this place to my boss and colleagues from NY, NJ to PA But I will have to retract my recommendation to them after this. I REPEAT 'DO NOT COME HERE' We will NOT be returning. While the food itself was decent but the UNGRATEFUL ATTITUDE and handling of the situation completely ruined what had otherwise been a pleasant meal. I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE! They will not appreciate shit from you if it TOO LITTLE (for them). This incident was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I wish I can get my $10 back. Just because you want more, then you DESERVE NOTHING
