Nem nuong cuon / grilled pork sausage spring rolls

I'm a regular at this restaurant, I live nearby so it's easy to get takeout or have dinner with friends here. I've ordered all kinds of stuff, from spring rolls, roasted chicken, deep fried fish, and pho of course. I gotta say, the food is quite good! Also, the change of management has helped a lot too. The ladies are always nice and get our orders in fast. I remember before the management changed, the service was pretty lacking.. and that was for takeout! Glad that things have improved!

Disgusting! Ordered delivery from doordash when I opened the box the meat was spoiled! I don't know how many days this meat has been bad but it smells like weeks. Slimy, yellow, white puss and just disgusting. It was the house special pho. I tried calling but no answer. By the time I was able to get a ride over there the place was closed.

Organ stir fried and ragu
Kouzuki M.

Trying out these and I really like it! The organ stir fried is very good! Also flat noodle stir fried too!! This place the a good deal for authentic Vietnamese food! Plus you get a free homemade yogurt for writing the review! Try it out

Best banh mi. The owner makes the bread in house. Haven't tried their soup yet but I hear it's good too. Choose this place!

Love the owner Charlie! Pho is authentic and doesn't use the powder. I have not been disappointed with their food.

This is my favorite Pho spot in the Valley!! Prices were…read moremore reasonable in the past, but I understand that inflation has been hard on small business owners. The filet mignon pho is now officially over $20 :,(. Still a decent deal, but I used to love to brag about that price tag to friends. They have a large menu, and you can't go wrong. We recently tried the new special Lychee Lemonade. It was delicious. The broth is on par with SoCal Pho from home. The entire restaurant is filled with those comforting, slightly spicy aromatics that make Pho broth so irresistible. Service was always been really friendly and warm, without being overbearing. You might need to wait 15-20 minutes for a table in the weekend. It's worth it.

Their service here is quick and efficient. They have a very large menu tempting just about everyone including vegetarians. They have many appetizers , we got the spring rolls and egg rolls. we liked the spring rolls but our guest preferred the fried egg rolls served with lettuce leaves and pickled carrots cucumbers and daikon. I liked both rolls and loved the peanut dipping sauce that accompanied the spring rolls. We all ordered Pho which came out quickly. Their soup is excellent and being able to order you meats of choice makes it perfect. We've been here several times and we enjoy their Pho but also enjoy their Bun noodle and rice dishes. One of these days we will work ourselves to the back of the menu where they offer other fried rice and noodle dishes!

I was very very pleased to find such a niche little Vietnamese coffee shop in SLC! Salt City Che…read morerivals what I've had in Sac/Elk Grove, where there are plenty of Vietnamese coffee shops. We were stopping in SLC for a few days on our way to and from CO and I cannot go anywhere without getting some sort of Asian fix, and while I was looking for Vietnamese food/drinks, I came across Salt City Che and it was highly recommended. Well let me tell you the viet coffee and matcha is legit. I'm a big fan of ube, and both times I got drinks with ube foam, which was so smooth and decadent without overpowering the drinks. Both times my husband got viet lattes and those were also delicious. I also tried their banh cuon (steamed rice rolls) and the friendly staff member asked me if I wanted it heated up, which I did. It was the perfect light on-the-road lunch. They even have banh mi and various desserts too. Generally, on a trip I try to go to as many local spots as I can, so when I make a repeat visit, it means a place is extra special to me. I wish Salt City Che nothing but continued success and hope to visit again the next time we're in SLC!

I ordered the M2 Crispy Pork Belly with Rice and the M11 Crispy Pork Belly with Banh hoi The portions were incredibly generous, especially the pork belly and I absolutely loved the M2 with rice. The food was delicious and hit all the right notes. I love the creativity in bánh mì bún bò huế; I love how the cuts of meat layered up and we could dip in the bbh broth, just like a french dip sandwich but make it vietnamese! The shop was clean, airy, bright. Durian avocado smoothie was authentic and so good. Vietnamese coffee could be better without the sugar; we ordered black coffee thinking it would be just plain black. My bad, should have clarified upon ordering. I had a duck noodle soup on a previous visit and the portion was so big, it had so much meat and was so good. I wish it would be a permanent menu item instead of being a weekend special.

I have been to Pho Bien Hoa twice now and while their Pho is not my most favorite in the Valley, it does hit the spot. The flavor is fair. It's served piping hot and has a fair amount of proteins and noodles. Of course it came with the side of bean sprouts, Thai basil, and jalapeño with condiments set on the table. I order the regular size and it's just enough for me to finish and feel satisfied. I've tried their wings. It had a garlicky, sweet and sour type sauce. They were fried crispy and I enjoyed them a lot. I've tried their lychee on lychee tea. It was a bit too sweet for me. My better half finished it up for me and ordered the shaking beef for himself. It was tender and flavorful. Pho Bien Hoa is close to my area when I don't feel like traveling far. It's affordable. The dining area and restrooms have always been clean on both visits and the service has been great both times. There's usually a small steady stream of people who dine in or take out. Stop in and judge for yourself.
