So based off the name of Pho Little Saigon, I was assuming I was going to get quality service as of its counterparts. Nope. We went here for lunch, we were the only customers there. We ordered the egg rolls, 2 pho's, 1 meatball and 1 beef flank and the udon combination noodle soup. I also ordered the #97, Banh Mi Dac Biet. An older lady took our order without writing it down. Ok. So I don't like watching TV or have my nephew's watch youtube while we eat. The news was on above us (I can tolerate that) but they had kids watching TV in the same area with some kids show. So now I have cross volume while im trying to enjoy a meal. Remember people go out for the experience, an escape, not that kind of environment. The food came out fast and it was hot. Everything was good except for the Banh Mi Dac Biet. I told older lady aka our waitress that I didn't order that, she claimed I ordered #98 not the #97. She also stated that i was in the wrong, rude. We had a back and fourth, I told her that I was going to leave it on the table, that either I get what I ordered or I won't pay for that. She took it back and tossed it, but while she walked away she was speaking vietnamese loudly (probably talking smack), must be a nice privledge. She came back with the correct sandwich without an apology. I wouldn't dine here ever again. Go to the other location where it's more friendlier. read more

Would've been an average pho place (3 stars), but I ordered the rare brisket pho. I didn't expect rare to be uh, raw... complete with the raw meat juice still in the box they sent it in alongside the noodles and uncooked vegetables. I'm not sure they know that rare isn't raw meat. My partner didn't realize this wasn't Little Saigon in sugarhouse, and I feel pretty bad for them cause they were trying to make it a treat for me finishing my finals, and got this odd pho instead. They got the well done brisket, but I'm not too sure it was brisket. It was extremely stringy. Also, yeah the raw meat was off putting to say the least. Sidenote: it says it's black owned on UberEats? I'm not quite sure if that's right, since everyone worked there seem to be Vietnamese (or at least speak it fluently)?? This is my new favorite place to stop by almost every morning for breakfast. They open super early in the morning just in time to grab breakfast before work. The owners are the sweetest and always accommodates all the changes and request we make to our meal for our diet at the moment haha. Calling in last minute to have them prep our meals before arriving so it's ready by the time we are there But everything is amazing here! This place was just okay for me. Our sever (I assume he's also the owner) was super nice... so he gets a star. But to be honest, I just wasn't that impressed with my food. It wasn't bad (overall)... but it wasn't great either. I must also say, that the shrimp I got in my bowl was way over cooked, to the point where it was almost inedible... and my husband ordered a side of egg rolls, which were also over cooked (burnt even) on one side; so they may want to start adjusting their cooking time and temperatures. We decided to try this place because Pho Bien Hoâ was closed, which is basically next door. Needless to say, it was a mistake coming here. The pho was below mediocre and the bun bo hue was bland. The man who took our order literally threw the menus at us. The server did not speak English and couldn't understand when we requested chili oil and an extra bowl. I will most definitely not be back. I really like the food, especially the spring rolls and thai tea here. Their broth for pho is also delicious, as I order well done steak and beef ball. I go here every few weeks as well as do grubhub. I go out of my way to come to this little hole in the wall place for take out. My server was very kind and helpful man and I've never had him before and If he was my server every time I would dine in but occasionally the other servers can have a little attitude so I just prefer take out. I recommend the boba drinks, they are delicious and if you can try this place out, give it a shot. read more

Terrible service! I think it says a lot about a restaurant when it's a Saturday evening and the only customers are a couple and a family (us) there. When we first came in, most of the staff was just standing/sitting there watching TV. Then, when we were seated, they brought the water out, BUT they placed it on the table behind us. We thought it was awkward but waited for them to serve the cups of water to us and place it on our table. Even after they took our orders, they did not and I had to eventually reach behind and grab each of the 9 cups for our family. Bad. When the server came to take our order, he was half looking at the TV while half trying to take our orders. He would not even give eye contact to some of us cause he was too occupied with the TV. My sister ordered pho for the kids. The server even asked, do you want any onions/veggies in it? And she requested, no onions. He said okay. My wife requested a small bowl for our toddler so she could put some pho in to feed her. He also said okay. BUT, when he brought the pho out, both bowls for my sister's kids had onions in it. My sister said she requested without and he said, "No you didn't." But, he did offer to take it back and bring us bowls without the onions. As for the extra small bowl my wife requested? Nope, he didn't bring that out. We felt he was getting annoyed so we did not request it again. Also, a server should try remember who ordered what and bring out the food as such. This one did not. We were also a little confused because he just put the bowls wherever. When we were all talking about who ordered what, he went "Chh!" and said just tell him who ordered what and he'll move the bowls accordingly. My god!! As for the food, it was just okay. Most of my family said the pho was pretty bland. I did try something called Pho Sa Te, which I thought was pretty good. It was a different take on pho where it contained beef, tomatoes, red broth, and a spiciness to it. From an internet source, "Pho Sate is a variation on Vietnamese Pho soup. The difference is that Pho Sate has a spiciness and heartiness from the addition of some sort of chili-peanut paste. When done correctly, it's heaven on earth... " So if anything, come down and try this pho while this place is still in business. I actually can't see this restaurant being viable. They seem to not care about their customers and care more about TV and talking. They boast about being a restaurant from Las Vegas and they have a couple trucks parked around the area advertising their location. I don't think that's going to help if word gets out about their place. They need to shape up or face closing the doors for good. We won't be back until then. read more

The service sucked. The waiter was rude. We had to ask four times from different waiters for small bowls before actually getting them. They roll their eyes whenever we talk to them. They're not friendly, are unattentive, and arrogant. I mean.. who literally throws the bill at someone, without eye contact, and says "here. check." then walks away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. They owe me and my family apologies. This happened on 8/13/17 around 12:15PM. When I was stirring my noodles,a toothpick was found in my pho. So my brother stirred his and found one in his bowl. We let a server know. The server asked us if we wanted another soup or wanted to leave. When we decided to leave, another staff came out of the kitchen. Instead of introducing himself, he asked us how the toothpicks could be found in the soup and insisted that there was no way they put toothpicks in food. About 20 customers in the restaurant heard him and looked at us. I offered him to check my purse if he could find any toothpicks. He kept repeating that he was embarrassed and didn't want customers like us. When we were walking out, he followed us all the way to the entrance and said not to come back. Dear. Pho Little Saigon, I hope you have security cameras in the restaurant to see how the toothpicks got mixed with the soup in the bowl. And thanks for ruining our family luncheon. +3 stars First time I came here was a week or two. Pho right now is ONLY @ $5.99 because of the Grand opening. Once the grand opening is over, it is $6.99 as on the menu price, hence it's not false advertisement. I like the pho here because the rare beef is not dry and the ingredients are fresh. The meat had that flavor when it's freshly cut and still has that bloody iron taste to it. I love when my pho have a beefy meatball & all protein is tender. They also give you more of the veggies to add on to the pho unlike most places. The 2nd time, I got the Bun Bo Hue and my boyfriend got their Hu Tieu. We both agreed it was okay. There wasn't alot of noodle in mine, but for his they mixed the pho noodle in with the egg noodle. Both broth still tasted good, but I rather come here just for the pho. I still need to try bo kho, banh mi dac biet, and the smoothies here. The food here it was delicious and fresh. They make the bread for the sandwiches at the Saigon supermarket next door. ( skip this place and get your sandwich at the Supermarket store) The service on the other hand is short staffed. The guy that was working was the only person working and then he added automatic gratuity to our bill even though we tipped him and we're only a crowd of seven people. He then received the payment and hid in the back of the kitchen watching the security cameras until we left so we could not even refute the overcharge. I'm not that picky with my pho but I like trying new places out to see if any make the cut. First and last time here. The Pho broth smelled really weird and the meat was tough and tasteless. They didn't give very much noodles either. Don't be fooled by the lower price. You get what you pay for. To top it off, I ordered a durian shake for $2.99 which seemed like a really good price! Pho little Saigon is a lot better since it has moved to a new management. I first tried it when it first opened up and didn't like it very much but I decided to give it another chance once I heard they had a new management. I wish I didn't have to even give this place one star. The service was absolutely horrible. The man who seats you and takes your order was so rude and just unprofessional. He rushes up to us and asks if we are ordering food to go. We said no and he just points to a booth with attitude. He then comes over and hands us menus and 5 minutes later he comes back to place our order. We get a bowl of rare steak pho with no onions or cilantro. Potstickers and an order of spring rolls where he proceeded to tell us they aren't serving spring rolls because they are closing soon. I say it's only 8:30 you close at 10:00 and he says we're closing early cause there is no one here. So we say ok forget the spring rolls. Our food starts coming, first the pot stickers which the sauce was so salty we couldn't even eat it. Then comes my girlfriends pho. With of course onions and cilantro... and not to mention the steak wasn't rare it was fully cooked.. we ask for a extra small bowl cause my girlfriend wasn't going to eat the whole bowl of pho he says ok with attitude. The comes waking around the corner which is about 30 feet from our table and yells here you go to my girlfriend and hands her a bowl where she literally had to reach her arm out to grab it. We just Shake our heads and finish our food. We then ask for the check.. he bring the check and says the amount and waits for the credit card.. when he brings it back he hands the receipt and the credit card along with a pen. Stands there and waits for us to fill it out... with the horrible service we didn't want to give him a tip but since we are good people and know people work hard for their money the least we wanted to give was $2.
