Avoid if you can! I have had my dry cleaned clothes shrunken here which resulted in several months of back and forth and denying they caused any damage. I've also had cash stolen from behind me when putting clothes into the washer. They act innocent saying "I don't know" but in reality, it's just poor service. Initially I felt bad about writing a negative review, but after cash was stolen and my clothes had been damaged, I no longer feel bad. They are rude and have very distasteful customer service skills. See below for an older review. May be ok because you can wash yourself but DO NOT DRY CLEAN ANYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT HERE. I brought my silk JCrew top to them and they shrunk it. The man at the front said that it was impossible it was shrunk. I compared it to my other top which is the same exact size and I was right. They "stretched it" to fit again and then on the next cleaning they shrunk it again. They also took my receipt and swore they would reimburse me and have still failed to do so 2 months later despite frequent visits to address this issue. In addition to this, they refuse to return calls and the staff fail to give written messages to the manager. The older man in the front only yells at you. If I could give negative stars I would. This is the WORST dry-cleaner I have ever been to. The staff is utterly disrespectful and obscenely rude. Never have I been so disrespected and disgruntled. I was called a liar by one employee when I brought my dress back and screamed at by another. DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. New Spring Cleaners ruined a relatively expensive suit ($1,000+) shrinking it to the point that it's unwearable. That's fine, and these things happen, but the manner in which they handled my efforts to discuss how to fix the suit was unprofessional and, frankly, dishonest. I own three of the exact same suit -- same particular cut, same size, bought at the same time, from Brooks Brothers. All three of the suits fit somewhat loosely. One of the three suits came back from New Spring so tight that the button on the pants simply cannot be buttoned. The other two suits continue to fit fine and, as before, somewhat loosely. New Spring Cleaners continuously obfuscated about the suit. They pulled the trick alluded to by others: New Spring "Manager" A tells you that they are too junior and only New Spring Employee B can help remedy the problem; but when you speak to B, B tells you that only A can help. New Spring blamed the issue on the "factory," but later insisted they spoke with the factory, who assured them everything was "fine." They also claimed the suit must not have fit before, disregarding that, as mentioned above, I have two of exact same suit that continue to fit loosely. And so on. The manner in which we were treated is consistent with other reviewers who have had a garment ruined by New Spring: attempt to deflect blame back to the customer; claim that the garment is fine, when it manifestly is not; make it impossible to speak to whomever is in charge; etc. The suit is a write-off, which is fine. I'm capable enough of buying a new one. But what's really disappointing is that New Spring simply will not admit that they ruined a relatively expensive garment. My wife and I have moved on to a different cleaner; hopefully, others will learn from our error and not patronize New Spring. read more

Their min. Is $30 not $20 as advertised on their website.... Fine job, they were late in delivering it back. Not great to find out that "their manager" magically increased the minimum... Even though my ticket says I only owe 22 dollars I ended up paying 31... If I had known this I would of waited to submit my order so I wouldn't have ended up paying more for less. I've lived in the West village for 3 years and have always used them. They have the friendliest staff and make you feel like valued customer. Always get back my laundry and dry cleaning quickly and in great shape. They organize my wash and fold based on the items which makes it easy for me to put my laundry back in my closet. Not that other reviewers' experiences aren't accurate, but to balance things out, I've had my shirts laundered there for two years now and never had a problem. Today was my first day trying Spring Dry Cleaners and I loved it. It's pretty difficult to find good self-service laundry in the West Village, so I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Pretty large, very clean, staff was extremely friendly upon entering, and the prices were very reasonable. $3.50 for one load of wash, $.25 per 5 minutes of drying. The staff was also very helpful. I will definitely be making this my regular laundry spot! read more

These guys are amazing. I've been using them for 8 months. No lost clothing, very prompt return time, and free delivery and pick-up which is always under a half hour. What more could you want? The staff is nice if the clothes come back clean and undamaged but very poor customer service if something goes wrong. I came in with a suit (that I had tailored and given to me as a gift ). I asked to have it dry cleaned. When I received it, there was a DIME-sized hole in the breast collar. When I questioned the staff about it each member shouted at me saying that the hole was there before I gave it to them. I said that I wore the suit recently many times and for formal events and there is no way I would not have noticed a dime sized hole in the front breast collar. They would not entertain my interest in receiving a refund and (store policy credit). They instead told me to speak to their manager. This took two weeks before I was able to speak with him. Though I eventually received a refund (albeit well under the cost of the suit) - I never once received an apology. Very poor customer service read more

Good, reliable laundry. Everything comes back clean although you may end up with someone else's sock every once in a while (and maybe other unmentionables). But that happens anywhere. Love the pickup guys and the quick service read more

I didn't even want to give them any stars but it seemed churlish so one star. Very poor customer service and very irresponsible / flippant attitude. We sent in a bunch of clothes to be laundered and they were all destroyed in a fire that broke out at the factory Spring uses. Sure, that's not their fault but we don't have any contractual relationship / direct access to the factory - we only go through Spring- so they should be helping us but all they do is hide behind insurance and say this is a matter for the factory to settle. The fire happened in March / April 2016 and we have not received any compensation so far. Updates are not forthcoming (we always have to call and find out what is going on) and Spring are getting increasingly hostile. They may not have caused the fire but their handling of the situation leaves much to be desired and PR/customer care is obviously not a strong suit (pun , fully intended ). So be warned. read more
