I'm so glad that a friend recommended this new restaurant in Turlock as it exceeded our expectations! We were greeted by Emily, who was extremely enthusiastic and answered all our questions about the menu. There were four of us for dinner and they allowed us to also order from the lunch menu, which I thought was very kind and generous of them. Our steak and salmon dishes were cooked to absolute perfection! Everyone enjoyed their meals and definitely plan on returning to sample more dishes. Food is excellent. I have eaten there a few times and never disappointed . Have eaten there for lunch and for dinner. Never had a bad meal.

We stopped in for brunch. IMO, a little pricey for their sandwiches. They were ok. Their side salad consists of chopped up romaine and dressing. My wife got a sandwich as well with Luke warm fries. Their drink menu is a work in progress since they just opened. I really wanted to have a better experience at this spot, but it didn't happen. I may give their dinner a shot someday. I hosted two visiting friends of over forty years who are very discerning diners for brunch. My guests were immediately charmed by the inviting atmosphere as soon as we entered the restaurant. Service was excellent! The ladies swooned over their choices of Chicken Avocado Crepe with Caramelized Onions and Blue-cheese dressing, and Turkey Cranberry Jam Sandwich with Brie & Bacon and a side of Caesar Salad. I devoured Marry Me - Two Cup Potato Pancakes with Jalapenos and Red Onions topped with two over-easy Eggs and Chipotle Cream sauce - a delicious combination of crispy potato and heat perfectly balanced with yolk and cream. Presentation was beautifully on par, and the flavors were sublime! Of course, we all shared bites and our takeaway after perusing the rest of the menu was that this new venture will soon become the flagship of fine dining in Turlock. I visited for the first time this last Sunday for my birthday. I had been wanting to go for some time because I kept seeing people posting great things about it in a Facebook group I'm in. We went with 6 adults and one child. Jamie was our server and the only front of house employee there at the time. She greeted us at the door, sat us down and gave us menus, made our drinks, took our order, and brought out the food. The place never got packed, but it was more than enough to keep her busy. We received great service. We ordered a variety of of food from steak, sandwiches, sliders, risotto, and salad and everything that came out looked amazing and every single person thoroughly enjoyed their meal. At the end, Jamie brought out one of the freshly made cheesecakes for my birthday treat and it was delicious. I know the last few restaurants at this location haven't made it, I'm really hoping this one does. Can't wait to go back! read more

Went to have lunch with a friend on the weekend. The place wasn't very busy but they just opened a few weeks prior. The decor of the restaurant was a lot to be desired. Food was great and the menu had a lot of good options. Service was okay. Our waitress never asked to refill our drinks and wasn't very attentive. I think if the wait staff had a little more training and the restaurant consulted with an interior designer who specializes in commercial businesses I think this place would take off. A little marketing would also help. I never heard of the place. I just knew it was open since I drove by. read more

Tried it out after seeing pics and reviews. They need to rethink their business plan in order to survive this location. Menu is giant. GIANT. Too large for everything to be fresh. Second-- don't list 3x steak dinner entrees if you don't have steaks to have on hand. Yelp had a yummy looking drink list. But nope, no alcohol permit. So no alcohol. Food was okay, but seemed reheated from being frozen. Presentation and portions were spot on though! Good job! Inside feels too open and way too bright like a cafeteria. Seats and tables were incredibly uncomfortable. Like really bad. Probably the main reason we won't be back soon. They need comfort booths and tables without legs that impede leg space. (Check out Tesoro Mexican restaurant-- they figured out how to make a super cute dinner location!!) I hope they read reviews and make changes fast, because I really do hope they stay in business. Incredible staff-- super friendly and apologetic for missing menu items and a bar. Best of luck. Turlock needs small restaurants like you! read more

Great place to eat!! Large menu with a great variety of options to pick from. Wonderful service and big portions, delicious flavors. I want to say that our waitress was great! She was very accommodating. Where the low rating comes are the prices!!!! $5 for a side of eggs, $5 for 1 hash brown, $5 for a piece of toast. None of the prices were displayed. The avocado toast was served with brown avocado. The food was just ok. When I received my bill, I was SHOCKED. This is just robbery. Visited here on 10-25, ordered meat lovers breakfast to include scrambled eggs, ham, roast beef, linguica and hash browns, three stars because the ham and roast beef were thin deli meats chopped into little square pieces and the hash brown was a small square cube, toast not included so ordered it as a side, coffee was $4. It was a sufficient quantity of food and taste was passable. I did notice orders coming from kitchen for other diners were plated beautifully as were ours. read more

First time here. I had a beet salad with chicken. The beets were ordinary, the chicken was juicy and the greens were fresh. Wait staff was pleasant. Ambiance will likely improve as resources allow. The food was reasonably priced. I would change out roadside signs immediately. Vinyl banners aren't that expensive and look much better than hand written signs. I will be back. read more

Discovered this place late last year and have been wanting to try it since it's around the corner from home. Well we were quite disappointed we ordered a tuna melt with fries and the tuna was cold and the cheese wasn't melted, the cheese looked like sliced American cheese. The fries were lukewarm at best with few fries still cold in the middle, not properly cooked basically. We also ordered the chicken caprese sandwich with salad. The sandwich was average. The salad was just lettuce with dressing that tasted like it had mustard in it. I order a side of mashed potatoes too and they had a funny taste. Being that we were the only ones in there at first, You would think they had the time to make it with care. Very disappointing considering the price it cost. Also The atmosphere was off. Not much of decor. Not sure what "New Town" (name) and the decor having going for itself. Our waitress was kind and nice! I hope they can do better in the future! But it'll be awhile before I consider this as an option. read more

I cannot express how dissatisfied and disappointed I am in my experience here this evening. My mom has been there many times and loved it. We went there w/party of 20 after my father's funeral. We planned way in advance with them and we were looking forward to celebrating my dad's life. They were out of everything on the menu. 7 people ordered the ribeye and they were out. They didn't make us aware of this when we walked in. Instead the server said that the owner instructed her to sell what he had. Several plates were inedible and were sent back. It took hours and we asked to speak to the owner/chef he refused to apologize. The server was embarrassed and kind. This was a once in a lifetime event we were mourning and hadn't eaten all day. I could go on and on but the fact is that they're not prepared to be open. They need to do better and fyi the bill was out of line for what my mom went through. We literally had my dad's urn on a chair. I'm so sad and this was tragic that we cannot redo this moment. I could go on forever. Do better.
