I stopped by for lunch with my friend and have to say that New World Brewery is seriously a hidden gem! You pull up and theres tons of parking which is already a win. From the outside you start to see how cool it is inside. They have colorful murals outside and really random, fun stuff all over the place and it just gives off a chill, laid back atmosphere They have an outdoor area where people can perform and have live music sometimes which I love and can't wait to see. The music venue part was closed when we went but I love local live music so I'm definitely gonna be keeping an eye on their events. The service was really cool too. Our server was super friendly and didnt mind us asking a bunch of questions about the menu. Speaking of the menu, it's pretty simple bar food but they do it REALLY well. The fries were super crispy and flavorful, same with the tater tots. But the wings... hands down some of the best wings I've ever had. The waiter told they smoke them for 8 hours and you can 100% taste it. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, just packed with flavor. I'm definitely gonna be coming back here and I recommend everyone does. If you havent checked out New World Brewery yet you're missing out. read more

My friends invited me for Salsa night and we decided to meet early and have a bite at New World Brewery. It's a very cute place with outdoor seating and they had live music. There's a QR code at each table to order your food and you have to go at the bar to order your drinks. Overall we had a great time, rhe price is reasonable, and we enjoyed our appetizers and drinks. This is a neat music venue. I was here for my son's guitar recital, but I can see this as a cool place to listen to professional (or amateur) musicians too. I did not go to the beer garden, but the indoor music made me think of smaller music venues we've been to in New York or Europe. Smallish but still comfortable. Good variety of local beers. My wife and I popped in here on a Friday afternoon before 5 so, as we expected, it was very slow (preferrrrrred, if I'm honest). When walking in, we were a bit confused about where to go since you have to park across the street and walk through the garden/patio (which seem really awesome for live music). But once we got inside, the employees were super nice! We sat at the bar and service was immediate and very friendly. Our bartender chatted with us, asked our names and introduced himself, and really wanted to understand what kind of beer we were interested in since there are so many options. They have some amazing sours and ones that we have never heard of before, including from Prairie Ales which is our favorite. Since we were there in the early evening, we didn't order too much. Just some fries and nachos. Both were delicious. Nachos are always a hit or miss. Either they're done amazing or they are just trash. These were sooooooo good! We asked for tastings of some of the tap beers and Dane bent over backwards, so to speak, to accommodate. The Hickory Smoked Jerk Chicken wings are spot on. This place is more than it seems! The parking is in the back of the business on dirt. The area looks a little confusing as to where to go initially but they have several signs pointing you in the direction. They have some pretty outdoor areas with tables, umbrellas and plastic chairs. Nothing fancy, but pretty flowers, nice big oak trees draped with Spanish moss and even some cacti in a picture frame garden make it quaint and fun! They have several local beers on tap and a full bar, including tequila on tap! The prices on drinks are reasonable. Our bartender Dane was super!! He was very knowledgeable about different drinks and how they should be made, very customer friendly, helpful, and just all around great! We had the smoked chicken wings and some cheese curds. They were both delicious! The smoked wings did have a little pink to their color which we asked about and were assured they were definitely cooked and good to eat. Getting Ghost's oil changed at elder ford and got hungry. I yelped local spots and this popped up, it used to be a german restaurant but we all know Mr Dunderbaks is the king. Now it's new world, I tried my bartender drink trick and got a pretty good marg out of my man. I got wings at his suggestion, since they eat their own food on lunch break;they know what's good. The wings were so tasty i did not take pics! Maybe the marg and my level of sleepiness helped with that! I got the call my truck was done and wolfed the wings down. I was reluctant about trying the pizza because it had a "black bean" sauce on it, but it was WONDERFUL. Thank you, Server Chris, for knowing so much about the menu and convincing me to try it. The Black Star Pizza has veggies, a black bean hummus instead of tomato sauce and Italian sausage, served piping hot. We are going again tomorrow and I'm going to try a different one. This is an old Florida urban venue. It's a bar that serves excellent pub food and other offerings and features live music. Indoor or outdoor seating. We had a major event here and the event food was excellently prepared by the staff. The staff was very cooperative in all ways including sustainability, like using reusable foodware, utensils, and drinkware. It is excellently managed. For an event it seats 80 people. Parking is free across the street and convenient. Our organization has had events there several times, and our experience has always been good. People can eat and drink in the bar or outdoor seating area even if there isn't an event. Check out the website for upcoming music events that only require a nominal admission. read more

This place is so charming. Really beautiful yard not too far from the highway. Went on a Wednesday and got to see a band called vagabond tweed. They were really good and fit the atmosphere well. This place does not brew their own beer but they have a really good selection of eclectic beers and a full liquor bar. The staff was very helpful and kind. They do also have food. Did not really like what I ordered which was the BBQ cauliflower. It came with beans which you could tell was sweetened with a good amount of sugar and the cauliflower itself was too vinegary. There's a lot across the street for super convenient parking. The service has always been spot on. Brews galore! Lots of my favs to choose from.. sours, ales, porters. One of our go-to's was the 750 mL of Delirium to share. Their food was great, too. The Cuban Dip sandwich and the Pickle Brined Fried Chicken sandwich were 2 of our top picks. I got the patty melt, which was really good! Hubby got the Flying Pig Pizza, which was just ok but hubby really liked it. We also got Hickory Smoked Jerk Chicken Wings, which were ok. I really love their Biergarten (outdoor area). The absolute sweetest cat (Bootsy) hangs out in the biergarten. I wanna take him home! I definitely want to come here again to try more of their food & beers, and to hang out with Bootsy again. Also, I want to come back on a Wednesday when they have their BBQustic Wednesday. Tucked away in a neighborhood this place is a gem!! 5 star rating is spot on. I didn't realize how small their food menu was but don't let that fool you on how amazing the food is. Beer menu is MASSIVE by the way. My husband is a big Cuban sandwich fan and thought this one knocked it out of the park mostly because ingredients seemed high quality. I chose the Roasted Chicken breast sandwich with bacon onion jam. Holy flavor explosion in the mouth, especially paired with the pesto!!! The chicken was a good sized piece and tender and juicy. I can't say enough good things about this sammy! Just get it. Plenty of outdoor seating available in a really neat backyard type fenced in area. Really well done stage area for when they have live music. You won't be disappointed with a visit here. I ordered a salad as a main with a side of chicken, there was hardly any chicken at all, the server scoffed and argued that it was under the lettuce. Starving I ordered a burger with a side salad, the side salad had a giant red ant come out as I was eating it. showed it to my waiter who flicked it away and scoffed again with his sassy sarcastic attitude and asked what do you want? For me to take it away? He said this after flicking the ant. He did not offer me another salad or even apologize, just indicated "they are out here." Now that the new New World Brewery location has opened, I had to see if they could capture the same feel. We went in the afternoon. They seemed a little understaffed, but it was a nice day out, so we patiently waited under the umbrella of one of the courtyard tables. I was pleased to see that much of the ornaments in the courtyard had made the trip from their original location. Even though it was my first visit to this location, I felt very much at home. As expected, the beer selection was excellent, with plenty of dark beers to my liking. We had already eaten lunch earlier in the day, so we didn't try any of the food. For being tucked out of the way where you'd never find it without looking, this is a fun stop! The inside is a bit dark, but there's also a great outdoor dining space. Our server/bartender Christian was fantastic. He was friendly, willing to chat about the bar offerings, and prompt with service. "Bootsy" the bar cat was another friendly companion! There's a great draft beer selection (even if some of the kegs are older and should be swapped out) along with a decent offering of bottles and cans. On top of that there's a full bar, so even non beer drinks will find something to enjoy. As far as food, we had the Shooting Star pizza. We opted to split the Cesar salad (decent but I've had better) & the cuban dip, side of French fries. The dipping sauce made the sandwich stand out, otherwise it wasn't too memorable. Server was helpful with us picking our beers (I am very much a light beer person while she enjoys dark - so, having a little sample of a few different ones to pick the best was optimal)! We split it, but with the sandwich, salad, 2 beers & tip/tax - total was about $50. Possibly worth checking out again for some other goodies. read more

I did not look inside the restaurant/brewery, but if it is anything like the outside I'm sure that it is great. The lawn serves as a outdoor dining area. There are roughly 8 4 tops that are shaded. There is a small, covered stage used for live entertainment. Service - Excellent! Our server was pleasant and attentive. Food & Drinks - very good! The menu is fairly limited. However there are some interesting sandwich options, salads and flatbread pizzas. We were disappointed to learn that there were no sandwich options available. However, I ordered a 14" pizza with ham, onion and green peppers, which was excellent. I also had an IPA that I loved as well. Overall - Great. What a great little spot that you would never know existed unless you looked on Yelp for recommendations while in the area. We left Busch Gardens and were famished and headed here for a late lunch. The outside area is so cute, with tables all over and great plants. There is a stage, so it's nice to know they have live music. The menu is limited, with only 4 sandwiches, some salads and numerous pizzas. After we ordered our drinks, we learned they had NO sandwiches. That was extremely odd, so we had to settle on pizza. Their pizza is a 14" fairly thin crust. My husband thought we needed to each have our own. They are NOT a personal pan pizza LOL. Of course I obliged, knowing we would have leftovers for the weekend. I ordered a pepperoni and onion and he got a ham, pepper and onion. The pizzas came out piping hot and were perfect. Really I would give them 3.5 stars Was happy to find this place on Yelp when I was visiting the area; like 2 miles from Busch Gardens. It's a tad annoying that they call themselves a brewery when they don't brew their own stuff; its kind of false advertising. Really its a beer bar, as they do carry mostly craft beers. They need a better way to display their menu and what is available, like a chalkboard or rotating video screen..the kind of thing you would find at a brewery! It was fairly small but they didn't have just your typical bar food/pub items. They had a few appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and stone seared pizzas. I opted for the patty melt and it was really good. They put jalapeno ranch on it and I appreciated the tang it added. I also was in the mood for a salad so it was cool that I could get a small side of their house salad along with the sandwich (no additional charge). It was a Greek salad so I'm not sure if that means the owners or the chef is Greek? Kind of random but good. The best thing this place has going for it is the environment. Inside it's a chill kind of divey pub, dark even in the middle of the afternoon. Plenty of space at the bar or there are booths around.
