One day, the technician showed up unannounced and started digging out the traps. No notice, no communication from the company, nothing. We were transferred no less than 3 times with a promise of "we'll get this straightened out and get you a new contract." That was several weeks ago and still, nothing. They have our contact info, but what they no longer will have is our business. The Technician again showed up out of the blue (stand-up guy who is just doing his job), and I asked him to remove the traps, etc., and that we were going with their competitor. Horrible way to do business. If you want an organization that practices good business ethics beyond the bottom line -- this isn't it. Stay away at all costs.

I contacted A and A Critters who referred us to their pest division, Matt's, about an insect…read moreproblem. Matt himself responded right away and I was able to quickly get an appointment. We apparently tracked in fleas from outside where many dogs are walked close to our door, because our inside cat of several years suddenly had fleas, never seen before. Despite treating the cat directly with topical and oral meds, we kept finding them, along with what looked like eggs, when using a flea comb. I was horrified and after researching learned we needed to treat the environment. Matt explained the type of products they would use and what to expect, and the tech was great about communicating when on the way about his arrival time . We were still seeing a couple fleas and eggs a few days later and although I know the cycle can take a few weeks to break I was concerned, as some areas had not been treated. I contacted the office and they were responsive and courteous. Matt reached out with some info and they had the tech return to both retreat with another product and treat some new areas. I know that my stress was showing (having to wash every area rug, blanket, throw, pillow, sheet, anything fabric in hot water and dry it on high to kill the eggs and I was doing laundry round the clock) but the office, Matt and the tech remained patient and empathetic and never made me feel like I was a bother. After the second treatment we haven't seen any further evidence of fleas - but if we did, I know the service is guaranteed. Matt's Pest provided prompt, courteous, professional and effective service. Within two day he and his excellent crew were on site cleaning up the mess, for lack of a better word, left by Arrow Extermination's "wild life" department (who failed at securing the home), securing the exterior openings for rodents. My 85 year old mother-n-law had been battling rodents for months and months without success. One... literally one, visit from Matt and his team, securing exterior openings, setting traps and we haven't seen a rat or any evidence of one since. We can't believe it but it's the truth.. NO rats in the house and we are five days from initial home securing. His team also pointed out exterior home repairs needed that we were unaware of.
