Second time they've double charged me and refuses to give me my money back. I have to call my bank to get my money back. Management or whoever is responsible needs to get on top of whatever payment processing they're using because double charging me is unacceptable. Dropped by Nexx on a Saturday evening as we heard it was similar to In-n-Out but cheaper. The prices were definitely lower and the menu was slightly more extensive (with sides like sweet potato fries and onion rings). Taste-wise, In-n-out still has my vote. I found that the burger party was a lot more plain which caused the meat to taste slightly more gamey. The sauce flavors weren't quite strong enough to balance that out in my opinion. Overall, I'm glad I tried it while in the area, but I likely wouldn't be itching to go back. Went down a long list of places to get a good but quick dinner and decided to give Nexx Burger a try. This place is solid! I love the burger, the fries and the onion rings and they move fast. The price was also super fair. I think for three of us and lots of sides and burgers it came out to about $36 total, maybe less? Give this place a chance if you're in the area or are looking for a place to get burgers for the family that's tasty and affordable. It's not like those mom & pop run of the mill burger places, it's higher quality for sure. Plenty of parking in the back, there's a drive-thru, lots of seating inside and there's lots of outdoor seating as well. Staff were WERKING! Non-stop, hard working employees who kept the lines moving both in-store and at the drive-thru. Their fries and onion rings are pretty on point! On to the bad stuff, their meat patties leaves something else to be desired. The flavor is lacking and very mediocre. It looks like the patties were steamed. I wished the meat patty was a bit more seared / charred on the outside for maximum flavor. The customer service is also lacking as well. Most of the employees seem very indifferent to be there. In one visit, the ketchup packets were all sticky. Like REALLY sticky. I asked for few more ans told them the packets were sticky and disgusting. A few of the ladies didn't really seem to care. There one another gentlemen saw this and made the effort to grab me a few packets that didn't have the sticky residue on it. A family member, a friend, and myself went there on three different dates, we all got tricked to purchase the larger size of combos, because they offer choices of small and regular, but the cashiers are trained to ask "regular combo? when customers order combos, they should ask "small or regular" but they didn't do that. I've driven past their $3.75 Double Cheeseburger All Day Everyday sign so many times. It was finally time to give them a chance because In N Out is almost $6 for a Double-Double now! This is a super clean establishment for a fast food spot, I was honestly shocked when I went inside. I love that you are able to add bacon and avocados to their burgers, but I hadn't done it yet. You are able to customize your burger almost the same way you do your In N Out burger. The first time I had the original way with raw onions, and the second time, I had the whole grilled onions and it made a huge difference. Unfortunately, they messed up my wife's order, she ordered the hamburger w/ cheese but instead of the chopped grilled onions, I think she got raw chopped onions. Either way, the value for what you get here is insane. We got a full meal for 2 people for $17 (2 burgers, onion rings and a shake). While this isn't as satisfying as In N Out, it's a super great alternative. Will be back! read more
