Food is okay but quite expensive for what it is. The best part of the meal by far was the grilled pork, which was very tasty. Portions were generous too. But the garlic noodles and fries were just that -- garlic noodles and fries. I feel as if what I ordered could be made at home for far cheaper. Despite the food being seemingly simple, the service is very slow. My order got mixed up (ordered garlic noodles, received the pork bowl), and although the staff was kind enough to remake my order it took over 30 minutes to receive it. Parking can be tricky depending on the time that you go, as the lot is very small. I parked across the street by Carls Jr. to walk over. All in all, a very okay spot. Probably a saving grace when it's 1am and you've got craving. But for any normal day I'd probably pick somewhere else to spend $15+ on a meal. read more

Ordered a crawfish pasta, 2 bulgogi garlic noodles, and a peach lychee green tea for takeout on Yelp. Don't let the portions deceive you! I was a bit skeptical that the pasta dishes were $10+ for such a shallow container, but I was surprisingly pretty full after eating my crawfish pasta! The crawfish pasta has sausage, peeled crawfish, and a creamy tomato sauce. The dish was a bit spicy, which I was not prepared for. However, it was oddly addicting. Despite the spicy kick, I couldn't stop eating it! Definitely a good place to stop by if you are in between those asian food and pasta cravings. TL;DR - Food delish but please, please, please do a thorough cleaning of the kitchen! There is grease LITERALLY dripping all over the place... I've never felt so conflicted in leaving a review like I am with Nguyen's Kitchen . If I went off food alone, I would score this place an easy 4-4.5 stars, but critical need to clean top to bottom really took it down (see below for more info and pics)! Awhile back, I came across their Yelp page while browsing for new eats. I bookmarked them, and then recently remembered to check them out because a friend messaged me to request I give them a shot. Food: (4/5) Peach and Lychee Green Tea (4/5): $4.45 - For a drink, I selected the Peach & Lychee Green Tea. The slight herbal bitterness of the green tea works to smooth out the rich sweetness from the peach and lychee. This combination gives it a pleasant refreshing, fruity sweetness. Grilled Pork Bahn Mi (4/5): $8.95 - Tucked between a slightly crunchy, yet soft, French baguette is a mound of smoky, marinated grilled pork; fresh cilantro and cucumber; addictive pickled radish and carrots; and their delicious house spicy green sauce (which offers heat with a garlic, pepper flavor). I enjoyed each bite of the sandwich, and it's one I plan to get again if I decide to make a return visit (maybe to one of the other spots?). Popcorn Chicken (4/5): $5.45 - Their popcorn chicken is nicely fried and seasoned with your typical blend of paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, etc. Though it's pretty standard, it's still very good and done well. The chewy noodles are coated by a nice, balanced layer of garlic flavoring. This of course is added to with the grilled pork and bits of parsley/cilantro herbs on top. I think this is a good dish to sample and split with someone else (I think it might get tiresome to consume a whole plate of just this on your own). Cleanliness: (1/5) Here's where my review deviates. The urgent need to thoroughly clean the restaurant was very apparent. I'm actually wondering if it presents a potential hazard for a grease fire, etc. Even from where I was sitting at the kitchen side counters, I could see thick coats of aged grease and even a long hair glued to bottom of one of the kitchen shelves. It seemed like a lot of that metal shelving surfaces were blanketed by grease and specks of dust and whatnot. Then, right above me, I could see streams of grease dripping from the vent area. You can see from my posted pics of this. In fact, the one with the paper towel was to showcase a constantly dripping grease spot that nearly landed in my brother's water cup a few centimeters away (we moved of course). Even the counter we were at, you could see a cake of grease and other gunk on the counter's seal (look carefully at my drink pic's background). It was so prominent, I could feel, with my resting arm, the slick of grease on the countertop and, with my slipping shoes, a coat of it on the bathroom floor. My go to spot after a long day at Disneyland! I'm from out of town so I don't know where the secret late night spots are out here...But hey I guess I found one!! They are open late, the service is fast and friendly, food is always on point! I get the garlic noodles! With rib steak, I also had it with tiger shrimp. So good! I was here when it first opened and food was so delish. Then i came back a year later and it was disappointingly salty and oily. Now 5 plus years later I decided to give them another try and i regret so hard. Got the garlic noodles and it was soo salty, oily, AND tasted like fishy crawfish. I assume crawfish because the taste, and because they have another dish that was crawfish pasta. My partner doesnt like crawfish so the dish wasnt good to her, but I have a crawfish allergy so that is harmful to me who did not order a dish that had crawfish. This review is for a delivery order we made last week. Their food is really good. We ordered the chicken wings, the crispy egg rolls, the house marinated chicken sandwich, crawfish pasta, cajun garlic fries with beef and garlic noodles with chicken. Everything was saucy with that great garlicky flavor. The chicken wings were tender and the egg rolls had a really great meaty taste. The sauce on the crawfish pasta was really good, and the garlic noodles ranked pretty high up there with some of the other places I've eaten. If you like garlic, you'll like this place. Open til 2:30am, it's LITERALLY drunk people food and I'll stop by for that. IMO a 3.5/5, a litttttttttttttle overhyped but it's also not bad. Truth be told, there's not many places where you can get an $9 bowl of grilled porked noodles that's quite filling and has green spicy sauce that's kinda good. Has a casual atmosphere, 2 tables outside. Not much parking either. The place takes its COVID-19 precautions seriously, which is good to see. There's a lot of garlic in all the dishes that I ordered. Just keep that in mind. GRILLED PORK NOODLES W EGG: -it's good when drunk, decent when sober -Soupless mix with around 40% Vermicelli noods, 20% pork, 40% veggies and egg -Egg was Sunnyside up by default, I think you can ask if you want it cooked another way -Comes with green sauce, has a nice spice to it 4 out of 5 NK WINGS , 6 PIECES -has garlic, soft inside, but also soft outside. -IMO it's aight, not crunchy enough on the outside for me. I think places like Chan Chan/ Furai Chicken have better chicken. 3 out of 5 EGG ROLLS, 2 PIECES - Comes with a mixed sweet and soy sauce. I found this place while looking for food after a long day at Disneyland. They're open late and have a variety of vietnamese fusion dishes to choose from. The noodle/pasta dishes are tasty and I got some pretty phat shrimpies on mine. The drink I got (lychee green tea) was refreshing and went really well with what I ordered. The bahn mi was pretty standard. They dont have a lot of seating on the inside so you may have to wait a while for a table. Overall its a good late night spot for some casual asian fusion. read more

This location isn't as nice/new as the Chino location I usually visit, but the food is just as tasty. This place popped up 3.5 miles from my start at Great Wolf Lodge. The cashier, a guy, was very friendly. The bulgogi Bahn mi did not disappoint. The bread is soft. They load it with veggies. The meat is tender. They were generous with the jalapeño sauce and it did not go to waste. Wish there was one closer to me in Diego. I'd love to try their bowls but I can't get over this sandwich. read more

I'm often skeptical when there's raving reviews about some places because often I think they're overhyped. However this place did not disappoint, we even went twice during our weekend trip! Even better is that they're open until 2:30 am! If you love garlic noodles this is the place to go! There's not many places that make really tasty garlic noodles, but the ones here were delicious. We also tried the bulgogi banh mi, egg rolls, garlic fries, popcorn chicken, green milk tea, and the peach and lychee green tea. The bulgogi sandwich was also really tasty and liked that the bread was soft. The garlic fries were also super garlicky. The eggrolls were nice and crispy. The popcorn chicken had a good amount of spice but could be a little crunchier. The green milk tea was also good but the peach and lychee tea was a little too sweet. All their food is served with a side of their signature green sauce which is a bit spicy for those that enjoy spice. I don't think their food needs any extra sauce though, it was all tasty on its own. Portions are a great size for the prices. They also use Fivestars as their rewards program. One tip is it is a little cheaper to order at the restaurant rather then online, plus the money goes straight to the restaurant rather than through a third party this way. During COVID, there is a few tables outside to eat at. There were markers on the floor to stand on to social distance and the employees were all wearing masks and gloves both at the register and the cooks. My coworker and I always wondered about this place and finally decided to try it. We didn't have much time for lunch so we decided to get a few items to share. We originally wanted to take everything togo back to the office but the food took longer than we anticipated so we just ate real quick on their tables outside. I would suggest ordering ahead next time especially during peak hours. We ordered the garlic fries, garlic noodles and popcorn chicken. The garlic noodles weren't bad but definitely super garlicky and probably not the best option if you have to go back to work! The Cajun garlic fries were a disappointment, they literally stuffed the fries in a small container and it became all clumped up and soggy. We didn't really taste the garlic flavor either. You likely saw this place on door dash, or you're hungry past midnight and its one of the only places open. Restaraunt only does pick up and delivery atm, mask required, social distancing available ish. You go in and order, and then orders come out on the other side of the room where all the benches are. Service was pretty fast as they do an assembly line. Parking is kind of sketch- there's plenty of spaces but it's small and tight splattered with signs of no public parking ( but its fine for this restaraunt). You'll pass by it super fast. The food is very fusion not very Vietnamese. I would say Vietnamese inspired, but it mostly consist of fatty snack sort of foods and definently take on a more garlicy American palate. The portions are medium, but its pretty good value for price when compared to other places. The garlic noodles are very garlicy, oily and texture is similar to a chewier instant ramen. I would say its fast food like, the scent stays thick in the air. The base price is around $6 with protein add ons up to $4. It can make you feel a little sluggish, so its probably worth sharing. The popcorn chicken is nicely crisp and a little spicy, its not Taiwanese styled ( seasoning) at all. Its more like chicken bites and come with a side of ranch. Portion is on the smaller side, but its also decently priced. The short rib sandwich isn't really to my perception of banh mi, but they pack the sandwich really well. The short rib is more of a bulgogi and can be quite oily. It has chunks of cucumber and lots of shredded pickled veggies. I think their fries would be bomb as they do fatty foods well :). The most interesting part is that every entree comes with 2 sauce containers of these green creamy chili sauces, and they have a really spicy aftertaste. I like that you can walk in and order instead of waiting to be seated. The food came out pretty quick and it was a decent portion. I couldn't finish all of it and I had some leftover to take home. This place is great! Food - the garlic noodles with prawns is delicious! The pasta is cooked to a perfect texture and it is so flavorful. The portion is huge so you can split it with another person. Getting back late to our hotel after spending the day at Disneyland and hungry is not a good combination. It was past midnight and we didn't want to eat no clown food. Luckily, Wifey had already bookmarked this place and it was about a 10 minute drive from our hotel. Got in our rental car and immediately drove here. They are open late and we ordered Garlic Noodles with Shrimp, Grilled Pork Sandwich, NK Chicken Wings and one Vietnamese Coffee (for when I wake-up) to go. Waited another 10 minutes until our order was ready. We got back at the hotel and started devouring them. The sandwich was good and decent with nice flavors. I found the chicken a tad salty, but it was filling. I would say the best dish was the garlic noodles as it was satisfying. This place is located near Main Place Mall and is open until 2:30 am. The food is really filling and they even offer a really sweet green tea. Their Banh Mi is pretty big, it's not like an ordinary one. The food here seems to be like comfort food after drinking, so I don't recommend it after the gym. Parking is limited and it seems popular for the younger crowd. It's not the best garlic noodle, which is probably the best food the create here, but it's passable. The price is kind of on the higher end. The ambiance is kind of like a Buffalo Wild Wings minus the TVs with the sport channels. The service is nice and there are water cups available. read more

We heard of this place because of a friend and we wanted to try it out. The place was popping during the lunch hour when we passed by and we decided to eat inside. The sliders' patties were burnt and thus extremely bitter. The bitterness completely drowned out the rest of the flavor of the slider. Small spot that is conveniently open until late at night. We ordered the extreme spice level of popcorn chicken, crawfish Cajun pasta, and garlic noodles with the addition of a fried egg and shrimp. Prices were high on the garlic noods, and I felt they had a bit of a weird taste. The shrimps also had the shells/legs still on them which I find off putting. For 5 tiger shrimp it's 6.45 extra and the egg is an extra 2.45. I did not like the popcorn chicken at all, the texture was weird. The crawfish pasta was good overall I just wish the pieces of crawfish and sausage were bigger and there was an excessive amount of sausage in comparison to crawfish. The kid and I liked the crawfish pasta more than the shrimp garlic noodles. But hours later, we were cotton-mouth level thirsty, which is something that happens when I eat food that's been prepared with MSG. The other thing that lowered the score significantly was the staff's reaction after a horrifying incident that happened minutes after my son and I walked through the door. We were about to order when a customer who was leaving accidentally walked right into the thick @ss glass door. His forehead made a loud thunk so I turned around and saw him just standing there, completely stunned, with his forehead split in two places. I told the woman standing behind the counter, who should have seen it happen because she was facing us, that he needs help, a napkin or something. They gave me a small piece of brown paper towel, then a bag of ice. The cuts on his forehead started to bleed, dripping blood down between his eyes so I put the paper towel on his forehead, then the bag of ice on top of it. I asked her for a band aid and watched as the workers tried to find one. Everything happened really slowly, with a worker telling me they only had one band aid in the entire restaurant, no first aid kit, no ointment. Then finally, another worker found the first aid kit so I grabbed a band aid and ointment and bandaged the guy up. No other customers were in the restaurant at this time yet not a single worker came out check on the guy. They just stood behind the counter and watched as I took care of the guy. I'm surprised that it didn't come naturally for anyone to ask the guy if he was ok, to be proactive instead of watching some random woman taking care of their customer. I didn't bother asking for a manager because even if there was one on site at the time, he or she showed the bare minimum level of care for their customers. Hopefully this incident can serve as the impetus for better training on how to help customers who have accidents while inside their restaurants. read more

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Parking lot is small. Restaurant is small. It is a fast food styled restaurant. You order at the counter and pick it up at the end of the counter.
