I ordered delivery from DoorDash to the hotel I was staying, near the Disney parks. It was a Friday night, so I thought it would be very busy, but it only took 30 mins to receive my order. The garlic noodles with chicken which were fantastic! Heavy on the garlic, as I was warning people not to come close unless they wanted to clear their sinuses! That being said, the garlic taste wasn't overpowering the taste of the chicken and noodles. You will smell like garlic, but you won't care to stop eating these noodles. Perfectly cooked and delicious. The grilled pork sandwich (banh mi) was just what I wanted. The flavors were fresh, sweet, and tart with the pork. Again, perfectly balanced flavors. The sandwich was a good decent size, stuffed with filling. Lastly, my daughter ordered the Beef Bulgogi bowl. It was a densely packed bowl, which I was pleased to see since sometimes you get a to go order and it is so much smaller than you expect, or you've had in store. It was so much food in this bowl, she could only eat half. Beef was tender and not fatty, perfectly seasoned. The ratio of beef to rice to vegetables was even, for a great bite every time! The garlic noodles had a good garlic taste, but when I mixed in the bulgogi, the garlic flavor was kinda lost. It's weird too since I didn't think the meat had a lot of bulgogi flavor. I'd get the garlic noodles again, but not with anything added on. The peach lychee iced tea was had a very strong tea after taste. The flavor of the peach and lychee was too much. Also, dishes were approximately $10/dish so we spent around $30+ - not too bad considering the quality of meat and seafood, but people may not feel the price is worth the size of dish. I was recently craving garlic fries and this place offered Cajun garlic fries, so I thought I'd give it a try. Looks like a newer little building tucked away behind the hospital. The place itself is very small (seating for like 8 twosomes and then some seating that could be pushed together for maybe 10). You order at a little counter and get your food on the other side. The people working in there were nice enough. The fries were pretty tasty and the little sauce that comes with them was so bomb! Kind of like a creamy salsa verde. Unexpected flavor pairing, but totally worked! That's all I tried for now but they had a variety of other small eats that I want to go back for. The only downside is parking sucks! Like I said, it's in a small corner tucked behind the hospital and there's probably about 10 spaces (some of which I imagine have to be the employees) and like 2 handicap spots, so they only had a few other customers in there but I had to circle around a few times before someone left and a spot opened. Been here a few times when I was in the area, but haven't had a chance to write a review! Grilled pork/chicken bowl: The bowl itself comes with your choice of meat, mixed vegetables, picked carrots/radish, and a generous serving of rice. It's definitely enough to fill up an empty stomach! The pork I got was packed with flavor and juicy, although they are a little skimpy on the meat in my opinion. I don't think there's enough meat to accompany the large portions of rice and veggies. I also do like the veggies in their bowls here much better than your typical teriyaki bowl places (e.g. Waba grill, Yoshinoya, etc.). My fiancé got the chicken, and I just was NOT a fan. I believe it's supposed to be rosemary flavored (?) and it just tasted very odd because it didn't go very well with the rice or pickled vegetables. It honestly would be better suited as a stand-alone chicken entrée, like one you would find at a traditional American restaurant. Thai tea: I know it's kind of hard to mess up Thai tea, but this place actually has REALLY good Thai tea LOL. I was pleasantly surprised! The Thai tea itself (without considering the half&half or creamer or whatever) is pretty strong and then when mixed, isn't too sweet nor diluted. It's actually one of my favorite places to get Thai tea now! Peach and lychee green tea: Not bad, definitely a little on the sweet side but it's not TERRIBLE. However, it also tastes like it's made with syrup/ has an artificial flavor to it. There's only maybe 5-7 tables inside and a few tables outside, and a small parking lot, so I imagine it could get crowded at peak lunch/dinner times. They crank out the food pretty fast though! We ended up ordering a few items just because it was so inexpensive and we wanted to try so many items off the menu. I ordered the garlic noodles with grilled pork and oh my gosh, it was so delicious. The noodles were rich and buttery and they were super generous with the garlic. Lately, we've been having a hard time finding good spots to eat at after a day at Disneyland. Luckily, we found this spot less than 15min away from the park and they're open until 2:30AM!! It's a modern Vietnamese eatery with bánh mì, pasta and rice bowls. The Garlic Noodles and Crawfish Pasta looked amazing, but we ordered the Garlic Chicken Breast Sandwich and the Bulgogi Steak Bowl and devoured every bit of it. The meats were juicy and tender, the French roll had a nice softness to it and the rice bowl came with side of chopped lettuce, sliced cucumber, pickled carrots & daikon and the bowl was bigger than expected. Service was fast and friendly, you can even see them cook your food as you wait. They do not share a parking lot with any other business and could be a bit cramped if it gets busy. Bulgogi Short Rib Sandwich "Banh Mi" Bread - Soggy Meat - Mildly flavored, overcooked Pickled Daikon/Carrots - Way too sweet, way too much and overpowering Overall, the $12.50 banh mi inspired sandwich was definitely not reminiscent of a true banh mi. It was just an overpriced, soggy, overly sweet vegetable and steak sandwich. 2. Chicken Thigh Garlic Noodles Chicken - Flavored well, chinese 5 spice and nicely grilled Noodles - Flavorful, garlicky, buttery, a little bit dry The dish was tasty overall, but it could have been better if it had been hot when I got it. I started eating very soon after I picked it up but my noodles were barely warmd. The noodles could have also used a little bit of sauciness, it was kind of dry to me. But this was a $13.50 meal.... That is SO OVERPRICED to me, for what you're getting: noodles that cost next to nothing, garlic, oil, and a 1/4 of a chicken.... We ordered take out and one of my friends picked it up for us. I ordered the the beef garlic noodles and Thai iced tea to drink. The noodles were stuck to each other a little bit but once I mixed them up they separated. It was really good, super garlicy and the beef was cooked well, a little on the lean side, but still pretty good. The noodles were pretty thick and had a good bite, just how I like them. So this place has popped up on Instagram for me a million times for years now and the food always looks so good. Finally decided to give it a try since I was close by. The food is good! Love how fresh the veggies in my sandwich made every bite feel. Didn't care much for their jalapeño sauce or whatever. And the garlic noodles are so overwhelmingly garlic that they give you the same sensation wasabi does! Hated that but that may just be a matter of taste and opinion.
