Pasta Crawfish, is what was recommended to me. It was delicious, but probably won't be ordering that again. The portion is not as big as I thought it'd be. For someone that doesn't like fishy items this is def not your kind of meal. However, their egg rolls was bombbbb. Couldn't have asked for anything better than those. I don't like pasta. But man I LOVE the crawfish pasta here. It is an explosion of flavor with just the right kick of spiciness. The portions are generous and you get plenty of crawfish and sausage - they truly don't skimp. That's all I came here to say. This entire 5 star review is based on the crawfish pasta. We also love their NK chicken! The wings are a good size, juicy, and crunchy. Sauce on side for to go which is how I prefer it. Pork sandwiches are alright. Just make sure you get the CRAWFISH PASTA. Honestly show up after a workout because they were one of the only places opened late at night. I ordered the grilled chicken bowl and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken was well seasoned and perfectly cooked and still retained a lot of its juices. The rice was pretty good I would say just cook it a bit less but it wasn't bad enough to affect the bowl. I added both sauces they gave me for an extra flavor punch. The bulgogi sandwich was pretty good but I will say maybe toast the bread a bit because the bulgogi is so juicy that close to the end it started falling apart. Aside from that I thought the sando was pretty good and flavorful. The golden baos were really good probably one of my favorite things I ordered. The outside was golden and crispy and the inside was packed with flavors. The egg complimented the bao perfectly and the pork was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Would definitely recommend giving this one a try if you show up. The egg rolls and drinks just didn't cut it for me. The egg rolls had a decent flavor but couldn't experience it fully because they were undercooked. I think if they would've been cooked fully it would've been a completely different outcome. The drinks we got were the mango green tea and I think mango lychee. Both weren't good the after taste wasn't it didn't finish finish the drinks as well. No matter what location I've been to, it's always a great experience. Call me cheap or whatever but the reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is because it's waaaaaay over priced. Before I get there let me say that I've been to this location a few times and service is always good. Restaurant is clean and the they're open late! Now, this is possibly the last time I go to any NK. Yea man, $18 for garlic noodles? That's insane. I go to Vietnamese restaurant all the time. I drive a truck for a living so I'm all over the place. I know what food should cost and why. And uhh, noodles are cheap, veggies are cheap, pork is cheap. So why am I paying $18 for garlic noodles with pork? Idk I've had the same dish at different spots for waaaay less I'll give you your well earned 4 stars. But I'm done here. The Banh mi is over priced too. So is everything else. Quality of ingredients might be there. But again, $18? Nah. It's been great, but I'll just go to other places. Keep up the good work. I will miss you. Others will support, I can't no more. I've had this place on my want to try list for a very long time. I wound up in Cerritos one weekend morning and decided to finally come through and try half their menu since I'm rarely out this way. I wound up ordering the popcorn chicken, fries, pork buns, crawfish pasta, and the garlic noodles with shrimp. Also got a Vietnamese coffee for while I was waiting. I LOVED the pork buns - the exterior was crisp and the meat inside had so much flavor. I loved the creamy tomato sauce on the crawfish pasta - was decadent and full of flavor. The texture of the garlic noodles was great - I just wish they had a bit more sauce. They were on the dry side. The shrimp on top had a ton of flavor as well and I liked them with the noodles. The chicken was good, but was pretty standard fare and the fries were a bit on the stale side. The service here was great - the guy who took my order was friendly and helpful if I asked for recommendations. They were pretty quick getting my food out to me and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. I would come back if I was back in the area. My first experience here was quite disappointing. The food was very mediocre in taste and I would have been better off going to Flame Broiler next door for a rice bowl. I ordered the crawfish pasta which frankly looked like it was microwaved; watery sauce, too much cilantro, and the taste just wasn't there for me even with the side hot sauce. The rice bowl was half salad with no dressing and just wasn't it. They're open late but unfortunately for me when I came in at 9pm nothing under their "classics" was available to order. The green/yellow sauce was the best part of the entire meal! I ordered the wings, steak sandwich and garlic noodles with shrimp. That was $35 for takeout. I ordered the garlic noodles because they reminded me of New Orleans but not even close. The sauce for the wings was a bit bitter, but they have told me it would be a sweet sauce, the bitter was overwhelming. I haven't tried the sandwich, I ordered it for someone else. A young made took my order and there was a woman next to him training him. She acted as the owner and she was having a hard time understanding what I was asking. When my food was ready, she slide the bag toward my direction while saying your food is ready. I was confused because she didn't look at my direction. There were other people ordering and someone near the food. So I was not sure if she was talking to me. I asked her and this time she looked at me. And the two cooks were not wearing a mask. I would expect the cooks to wear a mask since they are preparing the food. I honestly wouldn't go back to this place. Both times I've placed my orders through Yelp around 11:50 am to arrive about 10-15 minutes later and it's always been ready and waiting for me. Love that!! The brown sauce was interesting: It was like a thinner, looser hoisin sauce but worked well with everything. I'd get this again. Garlic Noodles with Jumbo Garlic Shrimp - You know what grinds my gears? Garlic noodles that are lacking the garlic! The noodles weren't seasoned very well and were generally pretty tasteless. The shrimp was cooked well and had a lot more flavor. Cajun Garlic Fries - Run of the mill french fries, but they somehow got soggy in the end. I've been to the Nguyen kitchen in OC and was craving their salads. The chicken here was well grilled and came with an assortment of sauces. The crawlfish pasta was a bit spicy and very flavorful. It was about 10pm and we go in and ordered a Ice Vietnamese Coffee. The first picture shows that the girl completely filled my cup up with ice. Not wanting to make a seen I figured she was just having one of those nights. So I took my drink and with 4 zips I was basically done. Today I decided to give it another try and ordered the same drink only with no ice. Second picture shows that the (same girl) gave me HALF A CUP. This time I spoke up and asked "Why is it only filled half way?" and "You can't fill it up more?" The girl just kept shaking her head and replying "That's just how that coffee is, I can't". Hands down best banh mi place I've been to. And I've been to dozens and dozens of banh mi places. You won't regret it. I ordered two egg rolls and a pork sandwich banh mi. The egg rolls were nice and crispy on the outside and soft, tender, delicious on the inside. They have this green sauce that will blow your mind. I need to know the recipe! Ive been seeing this place pop up on my yelp for awhile now and so we decided to try it! I didn't realize how close it was to me, and my husband loves fusion food. I got the marinated pork sandwich and cajun garlic fries, while my husband got the steak bowl. The steak was sooo flavorful (i had a bite) and came with some tasty black sauce. My pork was also delicious and the sandwich was a good size! I got a ton of fries too (you can get them with bulgogi and egg too but i didnt) and they were seasoned well. My sandwich came with a spicyish green sauce. Not sure what flavor it was but it tied everything together well!
