I appreciate the aesthetic of Pies in Poet's, for the scroll and Old English font in the logo and the brick walls evoke the poetic life. The interior contrasts the appearance, thought it maintains a life of its own, with its bright lights. Website: 3/5 It has a basic showcase of the gallery images of the menu items and the location of the business. However, I do waver when I see the color scheme of the whole site, with the bright blue having a sight so out of place it completely throws off the tone of the site. I also thought that revolving section at the beginning of the site has a redundancy of always linking to the menu. The site brings you to the menu located on bringDat, which lets you order directly from a wide variety of categories. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no interruptions while awaiting my order. Ambiance: 5/5 The comfortable seats and tables manage to accommodate us. While the medium-sized establishment has a lot of tables, it does make use of the space. The pop music playing oer the radio had a medium-level volume and managed to have a soothing rhythm throughout the dining area. I also like how you get to walk outside the other entrance and explore Poet's Square, which has a quaint feeling giving you access to many businesses and the view of a pond. It might be better enjoyed in the summer when the pond is not frozen, but nonetheless, you get a pleasant view. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Mercutio Specialty Wrap and green tea. It contains buffalo chicken, blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion within a whole wheat wrap. I did think that it would have been called a buffalo chicken wrap since they typically come with blue cheese, but there is a separate menu item of buffalo chicken wrap without the blue cheese. I will say that the blue cheese provides the warm texture to the chicken, while the lettuce, tomato, and onion complements them, with the onion bits having the most amount of presence. The whole wheat wrap had a good prepared grill, and held its form. Service: 5/5 The staff attended to my order without any issues, and even helped me say "Mercutio" when I struggled to say it, since it has been a while since I said that name. Worth The Money?: 4/5 The menu selection reflects their brand with poetic aesthetics, from subs named after US presidents to wraps named after Shakespeare characters. I do not know how buffalo chicken and blue cheese relates to Mercutio--perhaps his unorthodox spiciness as a character factors into the teleology. It would help Pies in Poet's if they included passages from Shakespeare's plays that justify the wraps named after the characters. Nonetheless, the wait time was appropriate for the time it took the prepare the Mercutio Specialty Wrap. I always factor in space around and inside any establishment in my reviews. In the case of Pies in Poet's, I will say that it uses space very well. It also adds to the history of the Pies in Poet's eatery. I can also see how the food would fit within the festive vibe within the interior. I did not feel as though my time was wasted within the ambiance waiting for my order. While I did think that the bright blue color scheme did not work with my visit to the site, since it does not reflect the brand's color scheme, it did not outweigh anything else. The website provides you with a wide selection of menu items with their usage of bringDat. I would definitely consider Pies in Poet's to be my first choice when looking for a writing spot. I will say that the price was ultimately worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I place this establishment within a soft spot in my heart. Recommend To...
