Song and Jin are great! Their business is really clean and they always greet you with a genuine smile. I've had clothes dry cleaned, pressed, and patched here and they've all come out great. Love Song and her business because they go out of their way to make the customer satisfied. She really understands that the customer just wants to be treated with respect and have their stuff repaired quickly and well! I don't know why other places struggle with this concept so much. I left a ripped pair of jeans with a damaged zipper on a Monday and it was done Wednesday and at 2/3rds of what the other guy charges. What great people - extremely friendly to the point that if you are in a crap mood, you will feel better after merely spending 2 minutes dropping off or picking up your dry-cleaning with them! Very clean store with always some calming music on, pretty orchids on the counter, and nice chit-chat about the weather. The owner usually remembers my name without having to search on the computer, which always amazes me since I only go in once every other month or so. I've gotten minor hem alterations done there and everything has been perfect. They've also let my boyfriend in to pick up his shirts after-hours. You can always call to let them know you are on your way and they can usually accommodate you. Very nice service - I don't know how their prices compare to others, but they deserve every penny regardless. read more

I came here to get a nice dress cleaned and some expensive jeans patched up. The lady the greeted me was really nice and helpful. She explained how she would patch up the jeans and would do it in less than a week. Her prices were a lot less than nearby places I had asked. She did a phenomenal job. She found patches that looked just like the dark denim color of my jeans! Saved me from having to go buy new jeans at a fraction of the cost. Also, she removed all stains from my dress. read more

I moved here from NYC in August and after trying a few other dry cleaners in my neighborhood, I found "the one." The couple who own the place are friendly and very professional. They warmly greet their customers and seem genuinely appreciative of the business you bring to them by being their customer. Even better, they do a great job, have a quick turnaround, charge reasonable rates, and are conveniently located. My husband has his work shirts laundered there and they always come back crisp and neatly ironed. When I noticed that one of his shirts had some marks from, I think, too much starch sprayed on it, I mentioned it to the owner and she insisted that I bring it back and that they would re-do it for free. I also have the usual dry cleaning done there and they also do an excellent job with that. I even brought them my Christmas tree skirt, which my cat oh-so-inconsiderately barfed on and stained, and they did a fantastic job. I've had a pair of jeans hemmed there, too. Basically, these people are awesome and it feels good to support a local business that does a great job and appreciates its customers. read more

I had an emergency heming situation and this dry cleaner saved the day! I came in early in the morning and they hemmed my jumpsuit by end of day before I left for my vacation!!!! I was THRILLED! Nice n' Clean is definitely the place to go to for your dry cleaning. Song and Jin are always so cheerful and they do a fantastic job with our clothes. The service is always excellent, and if you drop off your clothes before a certain hour in the morning, you can have them back that night! Song and Jin are good, honest and reliable people who will really take care of your clothes. And you can also get your clothes altered there and the quality is superb! Wow!! this place really lives up to its 5 stars. The owners were so amazing and helpful. I was able to have a semiformal dress pressed for only $35, when the rest of the city wanted $100 for the same thing. Not only is this place efficient, but the prices are great, and the people are genuinly friendly and go out of their way to ensure an perfect finished product. I plan on continuing to drive from the Twin Peaks area of the city to this place b/c it is worth the commute for the service!! read more

The service is so nice and friendly, holiday gifts were an excellent touch, and they make my shirts the perfect crisp and been consistant from the first time I dropped off. Nice N' Clean rocks my socks (even though i've never even washed them here). The owners are incredibly polite (they hand you your receipt with two hands and use those restaurant leather bill holder thingies). The most awesome thing that happened to me here (and the impetus for writing this review) is: I dropped off a pair of slacks for cleaning where I had forgotten that the hem on the cuff (pardon my lack of sewing terminology) had come undone. Anyways, when i got the pants back the hem had been fixed! They didn't even say anything about it when I picked it up and I never paid an extra cent for it! How sweet is that?! As far as the facts, they have same day pickup if you come before 9am-ish, which is solid, and their prices are average to slightly above average, which I really am totally okay with because they're so nice (n' clean, duh). read more

False advertising! I got there today at 8:55am to have a few pair of pants dry-cleaned. The sign out front states " get here at 9:00am, clothes will be ready at 6:00pm." The sign is what attracted be to the store. I go in and ask "if my clothes can be ready by 5:45pm?" The gentleman at the front desk states " because of the amount of clothes we have, I can't guarantee 5:45." Ok, I'll have to wait a little bit after work but it's cool as long as I can get my at 6:00pm like the sign says. The guy then says " well I can't guarantee your clothes will be done by 6:00pm either". I state " but the sign says in by 9am out by 6pm". He repeats himself again. DO NOT GO TO THIS DRY CLEANING SPOT! THEY'RE LIARS! Don't waste your precious time or money on a place that is not true to there advertising! What else will they not guarantee? Song and Jin are unquestionably excellent at what they do. My dry cleaning is always done perfectly and on time and they are extremely friendly and thoughtful. I once took in a white winter coat I had so ingeniously decided to wear to the bar on new years. It had a cosmopolitan spilled all over it. Don't get your hopes up, it wouldn't come clean, but Song and Jin would not let me pay for it even though they had tried cleaning it three times. I found this place on Yelp of course. I needed my jeans hemmed in a pinch and Nice N' Clean offers same day service if you drop off early enough, which is freaking amazing. Also they do a great job with original hem, they don't fold the jeans under leaving that weird flap in the leg of your jean. I have been there multiple times and every time the owners have been warm and welcoming. This place rock and that is that. read more

This is a great business, in my opinion. They have been (1) consistent since I started going to them January 2009; (2) punctual; (3) they do a great job with my suits and shirts; (4) are one of the few places which are open early and close late enough that I can pick things up coming back after hitting the pavement downtown. When they say same-day delivery, they are not just saying it. Their computerized tracker means that they can tell you to the hour when it will be ready. Their prices are a marginally more expensive and they do not have a delivery service, but if I need to recommend a place for someone just in from, say, Hong Kong, this is the place I have been referring people to for a year. One star omitted since, while I love their service and am very happy with their work, one has to work downtown or brave MUNI in commuter traffic. Since we moved to Pacific Heights in May of 2010, we have used Nice N' Clean....we adore them! They are a wonderful couple, treat everyone so kindly, and do fantastic work! We started with the basics- drycleaning and laundry, then graduated to repairs/hems/buttons and just now trusted them with a very costly coat that was soiled. I have been dropping of my dry cleaning here for over 10 years and what a NICE friendly spot .. the husband and wife team are like friends ... for years they have been returning my clothing perfect along with the occasional $$$ left in the pockets honesty is #1 here ... Never really had issues ... I believe they really appreciate your business and aim to keep you coming back. The second worst tailor I had ever had in the city. A part of alteration fees was refunded when I showed my dissatisfaction, but the overall experience was just annoying. The lady took care of alteration pretty much dictated the way she worked around alterations. I probably heard her saying "don't move" ten times when measuring and "no, we can't" five times when I requested moderate alterations, that were the same jobs accepted right away and done perfectly in another store. Eventually I had to demonstrate those jobs she was supposed to do were not done while another tailor did the same job correctly later. I thought there was a communication problem at first. However it turned out that she recognized what i asked, then actual alterations did not reflect that at all. Instead of redoing, with an attitude, she issued a refund check telling me to take the cloth to other store meaning I traveled to the store three times with no result. I wouldn't write a review had she not advertised her store having expert tailoring charging hefty prices, which are more than in-store tailors at a famous boutique in Union Square do. While most of other reviewers comment on how nice the business experiences were, that was totally opposite in my case. read more
