Never been here before but went through the drive through last night. The wait for the food was quite a bit longer than expected (it was after 9pm) but everyone was happy with their food. Husband had the burger and said it was very good, granddaughter loved the deluxe Reuben and I got the fried chicken salad and was impressed with how large the portion was. I ordered a Paul Bunion with cheese onions and green peppers on my hashbrowns and a apple juice. The $9 meal went up to 19 dollars and some change. I sat for 30 minutes at the counter waiting the girl who took my order. Never came back she didn't even give me my drink. The other lady asked me what I was waiting for and asked did she take my order I told her yes. She then asks her and she tells her she think it already came out and it was given to someone else. Then proceeds to go back through her tickets and hang my ticket for my food to be made almost 30 minutes later. I requested my money back I didn't have time to wait I had to get to work. Her level of service was unacceptable. I support this business often and this is by far the worst experience I ever had. Even when she handed me my money back she was rude. I will never order from this place again. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but after today's experience, they won't be getting another dime from me. I waited over 45 minutes for my order, only to receive boiled eggs that were clearly burned and looked like they had been rushed through the peeling process. To make matters worse, the eggs were placed directly on top of my pancakes, leaving them completely soggy. When I called to explain the issue, instead of taking responsibility, I was told that I should have asked for the eggs to be packaged separately. That response was disappointing and completely missed the point. Food should arrive in good condition without customers having to request basic care in packaging. I then asked what they could do to make the situation right, especially after such a long wait. The only solution I was offered was to "save it and bring it back later." That is not a reasonable solution after paying for a meal that was prepared so poorly. I also asked to speak with Diane. I was initially told she wasn't there, but when I went into the restaurant, she was there. Even more disappointing, she defended the condition of the food instead of addressing the problem or trying to make things right. To make the situation even more unprofessional, another employee interrupted our conversation, even though it had absolutely nothing to do with her. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and unwillingness to resolve a legitimate complaint were unacceptable. I expected much better from a place I used to enjoy, but after this experience, I will not be returning. read more

Good food, sometimes a hit or miss but you get what you pay for. Service on the other hand is very good and the staff is really nice!

Where in order some corned beef sandwiches and chili cheese fries the sandwiches were cold. The fries were old. They remade the food before we got there and it was no better than the first time sandwich is cold, and the fries still very old. You can tell they were not fresh and we went there and ordered the food at the window so the fresh the food should've came out fresh and hot and they should not have remade the food until we got there. This Nicky D's is my go as far as Coney Islands go but tonight, that was not the case. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and the chicken was burnt and as you can imagine, dryer than sand paper. I called to let them know and the gentleman asked if I could bring it back so they could fix it up. I told him unfortunately I couldn't because I live in Rochester and was not going back out tonight. What an amazing decor. I feel Like I am at an old school diner. Great menu selection. Was told I had to try the Chicken Greek Salad. They make their own dressing: the creamy,thick pink kind. YUMMY!!! Honestly I think they give you a pound of chicken on this easily shareable delish salad. A must have now and again and again... LOL My chicken was cooked to perfection and just absolutely delicious. I'm giving four for a full score in three stars for food, because my partner ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken came so over cooked. You could hardly cut it or chew it. So you just kinda eat what they end up sending you.(carry out) literally didn't eat half of what I received because it was either the wrong item or improperly made. Food use to be on point for years, then fell off. Everything started becoming hard and stale, still giving them another shot. Lettuce has been brown the past few times we ordered. The chicken finger pita had old and new tenders mixed in. They started to skimp on food, way less on portion size than before. They Always forget customers sauces. Gyro should automatically get a Taziki sauce on the side. Not to mention our orders are above 50 each time, giving them business at least twice a week. What a waste of money. read more

So Nicky d is my favorite Coney ever I have never had an issue with service or the food. Tonight was the first night I had an issue. Mind you I've been here multiple times. The food is always good, but tonight it was not. The chicken was like rubber and it had to be old, the salad normally has a lot of feta tonight it did not. I'm going to attach a pic of the previous salad I had that was amazing. The portions were amazing and everything was good. Unfortunately tonight I asked the server to bring our apps our first and she failed to do so. This was my first time dining at this restaurant. The interior looks like a classic 1950s diner. Nicky D's has a dining area that has friendly wait staff(pay at the counter) and there is a drive-through as well. I enjoyed the Nicky D's Coney special and a side of crispy cheese fries. Nicky D's menu is a lot more than coney dogs it includes: sandwiches, pita and salads, soups. In my opinion, the price point was reasonable. Overall, a decent place for causal meal. read more

Since this is one of the only drive thru places that is open late we decided to order from there. We ordered two cheese fries, 2 johnny pitas, a salad, and soup. We were very hungry and since we live 25 minutes away we took our to go order home. Once arrived we unwrapped the two go order to find one tuna melt, cold fries and a patty looking thing. I was already hangry and dislike tuna very much. I called the restaurant and not wanting to drive another 25 minutes there and back was told to come in the next day for credit. Would give zero stars if I could. Served me a coney on a moldy bun. I called and asked them to refund my order. Told me I had to bring it back to get refunded. Very rude lady on the phone. Drove all the way back to this restaurant from Washington Township with the moldy hot dog. 2 different people tried to convince me that it wasn't mold and said I needed to bring the entire order back to be refunded for it. Problem is, I ate everything else although I wish I hadn't since I feel sick to my stomach now after seeing the moldy bread. 2 different people claimed to be the owner, but wouldn't give me their names and then told me I have to come back up there at 7pm to talk to Rob the owner. The food here is decent. My law firm comes her 4-5 days a week and spends a lot of money. Unfortunately, the skinny young blonde that looks to be 22-23 is unpleasantly rude. She rolls her eyes at you for asking simple questions and she can't take an order down to save her life. Honestly her IQ level is equivalent to the start of human evolution with Hominidaes. She hates what she does and it's clear as day that she doesn't value customers. I have immediately put a ban list on my law firm to never order from here again. They have really gone down since Covid. I otter a Chilli special, they stuck a old hamburger broke in half and tried to hide it by mixing the cheese up so I could not see it before I left.
