You don't need to ask what is taking so long with your Mini... You can see what is taking so long! The new location is nice. The problem with having the service area viewable from the waiting room is that I can see the mechanics not working on my car. Over four hours with the hood up in the shop and a mechanic has probably worked on it for 20 minutes. They have spent longer on smoke breaks than servicing my Mini. Also I was informed I was almost done, then every mechanic went to lunch, which apparently last longer than an hour. I had a 9:15 appointment and they did nothing until 1:30. What is the point of making appointments if you can't keep them. Then when my car was finished, I was told to go and sign the paperwork and the service guy would go get my car. After waiting outside for 15 minutes 2 other guys came out and said "did he get your car?" and one of them finally went and got it. So while the new location is nice, it was probably not the best idea to put your work ethic on display when it seems to be a poor one. read more

It was competitive and left with no issues. Brought the car in for oil change in Jan 2021, and car needed it's 30,000 mile service. On doing that service, discovered the car had a drive axle issue. Car was just off warranty for time, not mileage and Hans and service manager got Mini to cover the repair. It saved us thousands in repair costs and I trust this dealership. The process was so easy and I really enjoyed working with Ivan (So much so that I named my Mini after Ivan lol) I wasn't pressured or talked down to being a woman (I'm petite and young looking and that can sometimes make it difficult to be taken seriously) Ivan made sure I knew all the features of the car plus any tips or tricks from his own experience of owning a Mini. Pick another MINI dealership. Besides the test drive with the amazing KM who was both informative and honest the entire process the purchasing was a headache. + KM sales person + Sales manger But everything else was a fail After getting my own financing and basically a cash offer they insisted on running my credit with an explanation of " to rule out red flags" but couldn't provide any documentation of state law or company policy of such procedures. I had worked a deal well in advance then upon arrival waited 3hrs to sign the actual documents / purchase agreement. My happiness and excitement over a new car was eclipsed with the disappointment of this transaction. Update: Turns out the used car I bought from MINI Niello had two bent wheels ( $450 a piece to replace and $100 each to re-powder coat ) and was wrapped ( roof/ mirror caps) that has started peeling after 10k Miles. We found a Prius V online at Neillo Mini that had come in as a trade in. It was over our budget, but we wanted to talk with them to see if there was any wiggle room with it. We made our out-the-door budget very clear upon walking in, and they assured us that it was reasonable and they were sure we could "work something out". We test drove the Prius V and got back to the dealership and wanted to talk about a final price before deciding if we wanted to purchase it or not. They made us do a FULL CREDIT APPLICATION including ALL OF OUR INFORMATION, including our SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS, even though we had FINANCING THROUGH A DIFFERENT BANK -- BEFORE KNOWING THE FINAL PRICE! We insisted that we didn't want to do this, since we hadn't decided on if we were going to purchase or not, since we didn't know a price, and we didn't feel comfortable sharing that information unless we decided to purchase. They told us it would "make things easier on the back end" if we did decide to purchase. After collecting all of our information, against our best judgement, they only came down on the price about $200. After we insisted that was still over our budget (which was the same as we told them when we walked in), they brought out another sales associate as the "bad cop" to give us a lecture about how we don't understand the car buying industry and we were being cheap. Needless to say, we left extremely mad. We came to buy a car, not to have our information taken for marketing purposes (which they SHARE with ALL Neillo dealerships - and have already called us!), and not to get a condescending lecture from. Even if we wanted that car and were willing to up our budget, we wouldn't have bought from them. Do NOT take your car to this facility. We bought a used car, had Niello Mini comb through it to get any issues taken care of. Niello gave us a list of concerns including the need for new oil seals on the engine. AFTER that $3,000 repair job, the car began to burn incredible amounts of oil, which every time the oil indicator went on, Niello got us for another $100 oil change which was a temporary fix because a second mechanic took a look at it and says we have two oil leaks! Niello denies that they even replaced the oil seals when I have an itemized list that says they did. Niello Mini's neglectful treatment of me as a long time Niello customer, costed me my car(that I bought from them ironically). After multiple visits in a short period of time, with check engine lights, and symptoms of obvious engine dangers like missing oil, yet no oil leaking from the car (yep, it was leaking into the cooling system, imagine that), you'd think think they'd actually CHECK THE ENGINE... well after multiple diagnosis fees per visit and new spark plugs, no one was actually CHECKING THE ENGINE. After three visits in seven weeks my car needed a new engine due to a blown head gasket that I continued to drive with, because I was told my car was fine as it was bucking and struggling to start, and drive properly. This could not be anything but intentional mistreatment of CERTAIN customers. The engine was a whopping $10,000 not including the $4000 labor, I said no thanks to that and the offer to sell me a new one. The car was a total loss, Niello Mini has lost a "forever customer" who has been with them since 2008 back when I used to service my New Beetle with them before the upgrade to Mini. I would have been with them another ten or thirty years. Oh well UPDATE: In response to Niello Mini Tiffany's comment... Sorry love, but calling a year, and a half later after an honest, but negative comment regarding your company, and your unbelievably poor customer service and actual service (after your customer no longer owns the engine-less car mentioned, because of your own multiple errors) is too little, too late. When working with your service manager Michele she was rude, belittling, condescending, snarky AF, and unyielding when working for a solution on this issue, and she was not willing to make right your wrong then, and called me with the very same energy yesterday. You do not value all of your customers, that is a lie, you value "certain" customers, and the outcome of my situation, and the death of my car proves that. But now I'm upeset all over again for all the losses, pain, and suffering that this has caused me, I've lost so much behind your company's negligence and careless mistakes (that I paid for every time). If you are looking for a honest reliable dealership, I would not recommend Niello Mini. I called them to ask if a particular used car was available since it was a 2 hour drive there from my location. The salesman stated it was, therefore we made an appointment for the following day for me to make the journey to their location. I asked the salesman to text me if the car was sold in the meantime. I made it clear I was only interested in looking at a hybrid and I didn't want to make the long trip if the car was sold. He told me it was definitely there and that he also had several others besides the used one available. I asked if they happen to have a white one in stock, his reply was yes, "in fact he was looking at one that very moment". He texted me early the next morning to confirm our appointment. We therefore made the trip and arrived there on time to be greeted by him stating he had other customers and handing us off to another salesperson. She was very helpful and attentive but unfortunately she came back to tell us the car had been sold. I then asked her to show me the several he stated were on the lot. Her reply was they only had one not the several or white one. She was very apologetic and thoughtful. However, it doesn't make up for the time we wasted or the money we spent on gas to get there. It is my belief the salesman told me whatever he thought I wanted to hear to simply get me up there to try and sale me the one car he had. A deceptive and thoughtless sales tactic.
