Incredible, 1000/10 best introduction to momos and I cannot imagine getting them anywhere else. I don't think anywhere can top the quality, freshness, taste, service, and value. I just had it a few hours ago and I know I will come back soon. LIKE TOMORROW. I am so grateful I got to eat this amazing recipe that this amazing couple has created. I called ahead to order 10 chicken momos for $12 and he let me know it would be 20-25 minutes. Then he appeared with a plastic bag holding the treasure... and he gave one extra sauce AND one extra momo. My friend and I were over the moon. He ran back in to grab us an extra fork when he saw it was the two of us. The sauce (it tasted like a light tomato curry) was slightly chilled, wrapped in foil and packaged very thoroughly. Very generous sauce portion, rightfully so because I WAS DRINKING IT. OH MY GOSH. It was slightly sweet, savory, had a little of a numbing spice in it, so flavorful. I was dunking my fresh hot momos in the sauce in the most intense flow state ever. My friend asked for my leftover sauce and she took hers home to share with her family. That's how good it was. God. The momos were beautifully spiced and literal flavor bombs. Chewy skin that had a delicious doughy flavor of its own (i love dumpling skin, when it's good, it's my favorite part but everything here was my favorite part). The chicken was juicy, plump, and tender. Each flavor continued to be so distinct and delicious even at the end of the meal. I did wish they could be juicy like xiao long bao, but that could be an unrealistic ask. Park anywhere on the street and enjoy some of the fresh air before you spot him holding your food. Don't worry, just keep an eye out. I was so excited to try momo for quite some months now but I never found a place I really wanted to visit. When I saw this place this morning, I spent the whole day excited, waiting in anticipation for it. I thought I might've hyped it up too much in my mind but it was perfect. Visiting friends wanted Momos. Have never had them before! Glad this was my first. Nir was so kind to make an order of fresh Momos with no advanced notice. It is literally home cooked goodness. You pull up outside the house and Nir brings them out piping hot. Freshly made Nepalese dumplings with flavorful veggies - delicious. It's hard to tell what are all the herbs and seasoning used (green onion & coriander?) but it is such a unique dumpling flavor, very aromatic & savory. Didn't miss the meat at all. I found this place stalking the area on google maps and it was interesting haha. Something happened with my order so Nir ended up giving it for free, which was really nice of him and shows the integrity of this business. Equipment issues is not something in anyone's control and everyone during the interaction was genuine. There is enough street parking in the neighborhood, limited shade, okay place to walk around day time ( kind of near a dead Indian town). Its legitimate family run in a neighborhood area. You call the number to place an order; it takes 30 min to cook, but I highly recommend calling a day before so that they can plan for pick up instead of in the area and popping in with notice. Cash or zelle ($12 for 10). Homecooked food. Momos are Nepalese dumplings. The dumplings have great flavor and a homemade texture skin. Good for if you miss moms cooking. The chicken meat is quite fragrant- with a distinct curry powder flavor but also has the richness of chicken broth and green onion/chive. (Not biased). The sauce is kind of a slight tomatoey curry ( more like a not heavy cream), but has a spice that builds up the more you eat it. They packaged it so nicely (double bag with nice boxes, a big portion) that it remained hot on our way, and they gave 3 sauces. No sit down, literally pick up, but the mall is a quick ride down the street or a park within walking distance. Overall, I think Nir and his family are very responsible. Even in my previous inquiry through text, Nir called me himself to answer my questions on ordering. I was impressed by how they handled the situation, because honestly I was okay with walking around and waiting but they insisted and offered and they didn't have to. Even calling me to make sure I was updated on the situation and came back. Integrity just speaks volumes to me in this day and age of service. I think an online google form and pick up slots would be nice to work around schedules. The dumplings have good flavor and a unique profile. Honestly I didn't know what to expect, but these dumplings totally delivered! From start to finish it was a great experience, and a big part of that is Nir, the gentleman who comes out to hand you your momos. He's super friendly, genuinely proud of his craft, and his enthusiasm makes the whole experience even better. The momos themselves are cooked perfectly, soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. I tried the chicken momos and they were definitely worth it, especially when FULLY dipped in the BOMB sauce. The pairing is fantastic and really elevates the dumplings. Called to place an order a couple of days ago, and the food was honestly amazing!!! The owner came out to greet me, gave me my order, and was welcoming and friendly the whole time.
