I stopped by Ninja Ramen craving a poke bowl and they definitely did not disappoint. I suggest ordering a custom bowl and select your toppings. The portion is definitely large enough to share, just prepare a nap if you plan on eating an entire bowl yourself. I ordered the tuna and spicy salmon. They tasted fine and was slightly disappointed with the protein portion. This is a sit down seating and was pleasantly surprised they have late hours. There is an afternoon and late night happy hour but the menu didn't specify what is included nor did I ask as I was there during lunch time. There was no wait for a Monday afternoon but I can easily see how quickly they fill up as it is not a large restaurant. The ambience and art was fun and I enjoyed the vibes. There was nothing specific about the service, neither good or bad, but last time I visited I did not enjoy the ramen hence the 4star rating. Once the weather gets cooler I will stop in and try their ramen and maybe some soji. They have an extensive drink menu and regret not ordering the thai tea. I had the spicy miso tonkatsu ramen. I was expecting good ramen because it cost me $11. But alas, I was disappointed. The tonkatsu ramen was not spicy enough. The broth alone had no depth to its flavor, and it wasn't spicy enough. I had a whooping two pieces of chashu, and my order was made up of mostly noodles. The other items I ordered such as the takoyaki and the kaarage were okay too. They are hard to screw up though. It was loud and crowded despite it being two in the afternoon when we went. Parking is not a problem unless you want to park in front of the entrance. This place is cursed because the next door bubble tea place is owned by the same people. This was very good not spicy if you don't like spicy. Great flavors I like the chicken karaage that is fried chicken pieces. The noodles are very good and not a lot of vegetables which is good to me. We also had some appetizers Shrimp Tempura very good worth it. Grilled Ika it is a grilled squid not bad just a little rubbery not much flavor. And Takoyaki baked octopus pastries you need to try them. Not great but fun to try. The food was very good I liked the ramen mostly. Good size bowl portions you get plenty of ramen. We had a bottle of wine with our meal. Very good price on the wine. The place is not very big it will fill up fast. Service was very good for us no problems. The food came out fast not much of a wait was nice and hot. Located at the end of a strip shopping area. They do have a tearoom next door if you want to check that out. Went back a second time had the same ramen dish and apps. Still liked the Creamy Broth Chicken Ramen. Had the Takoyaki again not a fan this time will not get this again. Hubby got a customized poke bowl and it was good. I got the spicy mazeman ramen and I do not recommend it. Atmosphere: 4 stars Love the designs and chill atmosphere, but it does have the slight bathroom smell some restaurants have. Prices: 3 stars Have a few good deals for their appetizers, but in general have average pricing for okay food. Food: 3.5 stars Poke was pretty good, but nothing special. The mazeman was incredibly spicy with the meat on top. But thats it. There was the slightest taste of the meat and then just spice. No other flavor. Then it was paired with cold noodles and thinly sliced cucumber that both had absolutely nothing to try to flavor them. Im guessing it was supposed to be balanced by the meat. But the lack of flavor in the meat just made the whole dish gross. After a few bites, I just drank my water to help with the heat and nibbled on pieces of meat till my bf was done. I took it home and reheated it with other sauces so I didnt completely waste my money To be fair, the other stuff Ive had there was decent. This is just something they need to work on or for others to just avoid at all costs for now I have eaten here like three times since theyve opened and it is always very average. If only I could give ZERO STARS. I've given this ramen spot several times. Within the last 3 visits I'm sworn off of it. 1. Terrible customer service. You're not greeted at the door or acknowledged. There are two women that have severe attitude issues, and treat people poorly. 2. They have switched shifts and didn't tell us as a customer - our waiter disappeared and never came back, forgot part of our order, and then we had to ask several times about the items missed and to get our check. 3. The ramen isn't the best - but it was the closest option for convenience sake. 4. Service is super slow in general, but no touch points from the servers. 5. Appetizers have been missed more than one visit. Communication is key. Customer service is key. The absolute worst customer service! We came during lunch but it wasn't full and we had to wait while the two waitresses were just standing at the counter gossiping. Fast forward after seated and ordered, I saw that our foods were ready by the kitchen window and no one would bring them to us, they let it sit there for almost 10 minutes to bring to our table. The girl with thick lash extensions especially is always having some sorts of attitude, she brought our food and rather gently put it on our table, she literally slammed it down and walked off. Like excuse you, we're here to pay for our foods, not begging for free. The mango sauce just didn't go well. It wasn't spicy, just was so sweet and didn't complement well. So I got some ponzu sauce on the side and that was a little better. I asked for soy sauce, but they only had packets. The fish cuts were decent and good amount. The tuna looked a little pale. For app I got the pork belly bun. The pork belly was dismal. Came by since we were going to the Putt-Putt place but wanted to grab dinner first, and this was an option that was nearby. The interior feels roomy; lighting is more on the dim side and there's a moderate amount of seating available (about 4-5 booths and four large tables with a bar area). We were a party of 6 and got seated pretty quickly. Service was very timely and orderly. I ordered the Nagasaki Seafood Ramen ($12.50) with buttered corn and spicy sauce added. The broth is very rich and warm; not too salty but creamy enough to complement the seafood and noodles well. Tip: Add in some spicy sauce (comes in a small container) at your discretion to make the broth hotter. The seafood itself tasted very fresh - I got about three shrimp, two mussels, and a couple rings of the squid. Lastly, the ramen itself was very easy to eat and tasted fresh as well! Loved the ramen here - would gladly come back! Not authentic at all. The tamagoyaki was so rubbery and weird tasting. Tempura was not tempura. Service from the hostess to servers was absolutely below par. The wait area was crowded even though there were 4 tables open and cleared. Felt like we were a bother and unwelcome. Had a craving for ramen and I've gone here before. It never disappoints! Decided to go for something spicy so I got the Hokkaido spicy miso. It was really good! It's a small glass with a big punch. I also had some delicious spicy tuna Nachos, absolutely great! The tuna mixture was spicy but not overwhelming. It was also in great proportion to the chip. Where this 5 went to a 4 was the Ramen. I got the Garlic Ramen and for me it lacked the depth of flavor that I look for in my Ramen. I also felt the pork was also cooked without seasoning.
