I have been going to Nino's of Delray Beach since l used to live in New Jersey and visit my dad who lived in Delray Beach years ago. I remember it from back then as a cozy, family friendly neighborhood restaurant with good food and big portions. I now live in Delray Beach and Nino's is a go to place often for myself and my husband. I often take out their delicious fresh, hot pizzas often taken care of by the friendly staff especially Jose and Ashley who are friendly and remember you as a "regular"! We also enjoy meeting friends there for dinner as the food is delicious, the service is great and the location is convenient in a strip mall at the corner of Jog Road and Lake Ida Road. During the winter months with many snowbirds in the area, there may be a short wait, but the take out service is fast and there is a usually a fairly fast turnaround with tables by the efficient staff. This is a local mom and pop restaurant family business and the Nino's reputation is very favorable! Give it a try and you will not be disappointed!

Upside down Square Pie
David M.

Pizza Rating: 7.4 Tried Both the Margherita Round Pie & the Upside-down Square Pie. Overall, Good, but Sauce is a bit too Sweet, needs less Sugar, and be more Meaty (too pureed). Needs that to "Kick This Up to the Next Level". Dough/Crust needs a lil more Hydration. Sure, this may be My Preference after 60 Years, and for "Some", it's just Fine, I'm sure...and based on the amount of business witnessed, they're doing just fine with or without Me. Just lending a Good Critique that can help, not hurt. Been to all the Best in NYC and So. FL, over 33 years. Nino's IS Worth a visit. Great Staff & Service is a Plus here too.

After two years, we made our way back to Ninos for a classic Italian dinner. Actually we had a reservation somewhere else new in town and as we were walking up to the restaurant one of the patrons came out and said don't waste your money. She was very unhappy with what she ate and the owner wasn't kind. So she said why don't you eat at Nino's which is one of her most favorite places. So we hopped back in the car and ran over to Nino's for a 730 dinner reservation which I made on the way. It's been two years since I last ate there. I had chicken cacciatore on the bone with vegetables and one of their house wines for $8.50. Paul had a glass of beer and chicken francaise. All entrées come with soup or salad and vegetables or pasta. They do not have other alcohol aside from wine and beer. The prices are still very fair and the portions are very generous. Dave was our waiter and he was terrific. He was personable and adept at his job. We indulged with a spumoni with pistachio strawberry and chocolate ice cream. It was very yummy. The venue itself is old and really needs a revamping. But it's clean and comfortable and a favorite to so many people. I'm happy we finally made our way back. Living in Palm Beach County, there are so many restaurants to choose from. But now that the snowbirds have left, it is much more comfortable eating out and not having to face all the crowds.

Stuffed artichoke at Nino's

The billboard outside listed stuffed artichoke, so we had to go in. That artichoke was outstanding! Plenty of breading and garlic and a light lemony sauce. We had garlic rolls too - totally vampire proof now! Nino's is a cozy neighborhood place which we'll visit again.

Visiting family and this was where they wanted pizza. I went to pick up order and it's a busy nice cozy place with warm decor. The plain pizza was okay , but I thought the gargonzola salad was rather small for the $22. A bit too heavy on the gargonzola where it overpowered the entire salad. Went to Publix next door and picked up tomato and cucumber to build the salad up more to feed 3 people.

Nino's is a very nice old fashioned Italian restaurant that sells pizza as well as a variation of delicious Italian dishes. Each meal comes with soup or salad and a pasta. Our dishes were all had very nice portions and were very tasty. The shrimp fra Diavlo was delicious. Each table has the option of plain dinner rolls or rolls smothered in delicious garlic. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

Cuisine. GOOD. Lately the flavor of the PIZZA has been on point at this Restaurant. The Takeout Order included a tray of CHICKEN PICCATA which was extremely LEMONY and paired well with some leftover Pasta. RECOMMEND.

Early dinner menu

Nino's was kind of a staple for us when visiting my mother-in-law in Florida, but for some reason, we hadn't been in a while. It was her birthday weekend, and her friends wanted a fun night out, so they picked Nino's. The décor is all Italy-themed, which is pretty classic. They were nice enough to give us the early dining menu since our reservation was at 5:15. We had about 10 women, and by 5:30, it was getting a bit busy, but they were patient with us -- even though I could tell the waiter was a little frustrated at times. The food was okay -- I probably should've gone with a recommendation. I ordered the chicken parm, but honestly, it was pretty standard, not much flavor.

I Enjoyed the price fix special available between 5-6 only starting with eggplant rollatini in a delicious marinara sauce followed by pappadelli in meat sauce which was fantastic with a lot of meat ; both dishes were good size portions. But the star of the dinner was the chocolate soufflé . It was perfectly served with fresh crème and garnished with a few berries. Melting chocolate but not too dense. I will be comparing any in the future to Tramonti's. We sat on the enclosed outdoor patio and enjoyed being outside without having people leering at our food. Service was brisk and attentive. The maître d' was welcoming and seated us promptly. It was pricy but definitely worth it.

It honestly felt like because we weren't ordering drinks, we were no longer worth the attention. The service only got worse from there. At the end of our meal, my husband and I waved for nearly five minutes just trying to get someone to bring us the bill. The restaurant was not busy, so there was really no excuse. Our waitress seemed uninterested in being there and completely disappeared when we needed her most. Very disappointing experience overall. We will not be returning. Bread was too hard, rice balls bland and too much cheese. So many more options in Atlantic watch out Tramonti.

And after this last visit, I will be passing on any future visits. We had a 6:30 pm reservation for 5 on a recent Saturday Night. That afternoon we asked if we can add one more person (so 6 in total) and were told we'd need to arrive at 6:15 pm. Logistically, that makes zero sense. The extra table seat wouldn't be a problem, and adding 15 minutes for the kitchen for 1 extra meal? But, ok. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant at 6:15. We are catching up, looking at the menus and within 10 minutes the owner is hovering over us asking for our orders. We ask for another few minutes -- we hadn't even gotten our drinks. He tells us we have 2 hours so we have to hurry. Look, I live down the block from Le Sorrelle. I pass it night after night, and yes, it's has its nights where it is party central. People love to host family events there. But most of the time, this place is sorely wanting for business. And while perhaps Le Sorrelle did fill up after we left, there was plenty of seating when we did slip out, well in advance of our 2-hour limit. As for the food -- I can only speak to what I ordered. A Caesar salad and Pizza Margherita. Both were awful. And I'm really not just saying that because of the restaurant experience that night. I previously had pizza at Le Sorrelle (albeit, years ago now) and it was quite good. Perhaps the cheese pizza would have been. As for a good Caesar salad, run, don't walk to Segreto Italia. Actually, just go to Segreto Italia, because Chris, Joey and Chip will treat you like gold and you'll have an overall outstanding experience.

We started with Crispy Brussel Sprouts as an appetizer, followed by a small Margherita pizza. For our entrees, we ordered the wild mushroom ravioli and the shrimp truffle risotto. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The Brussel sprouts were especially outstanding, and both pasta dishes were excellent. The only reasons I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 are related to the outdoor dining experience. When our waters were refilled, there wasn't any fresh ice added, so it was essentially just melted ice water. I personally enjoy a nice cold glass of ice water, so that was a little disappointing. Also, there were quite a few flies and bugs around the patio area. It would be great if the restaurant added citronella candles or small table-top fly repellents to make outdoor dining more enjoyable and comfortable for guests. That said, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely, and I'd definitely return to Sazio again.
