Sometimes the food is good. However sometimes they serve you dried, overcooked bbq chicken to go. Problem is the owner doesn't really care and there's no customer service. The Hawaiian Mac salad has gone downhill also. The employee knew I was right about my complaint and was obviously embarrassed at the actions of the owner. Was so excited to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. Went on a Saturday at 4:30. Ordered 2 chicken teriyaki bowels to go. When we opened the boxes to our shock were dried up overcooked chicken pieces of meat. We have had Hawaiian teriyaki bowl's before. These were chewy with no flavor. Took pictures and called the restaurant to complain. But no one returned my call. Went in to the location to see what happened? The manager couldn't find the note. And didn't care. Stopped here for a bite to eat. We took a chance on this place, since there wasn't much to choose from for close by dining. The place is tiny, but adequate for a good meal. The food is very tasty, fresh and the restaurant offers generous servings. I was a bit disappointed when I got such fatty pieces of pork when I ordered the mixed grill. I come here all the time. Fantastic food. It's always the same. Delicious. Try the garlic chicken.

Service was friendly, the food portions were plentiful and everything was tasty. We had the chicken katsu with curry sauce, short ribs, and Kalua pork. The spam musubi was the only thing that I didn't finish...something was off, we shared them, but threw 1/4 of them away. Can't put my finger on why we were put off by it, but it didn't taste right. Value: 4 - we ordered minis (~$5.99) because (like most Hawaiian BBQ joints) they give you a whole hell of a lot of food. The minis didn't disappoint! Good servings. We ordered the BBQ combo plate, which came with short ribs, chicken, and pork with two scoops of rice, steamed veggies, and macaroni salad. We also ordered the mini kalua pig plate. Both were delicious and very filling. They come with extra sauces for dipping as well. All the meat was well seasoned, freshly grilled, hot, and tasty. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our food since they were pretty busy. They were fairly efficient in the getting the food out. They only have indoor dining, which is currently closed due to COVID, but we ate outside at the Starbucks tables where we got our drinks. One downside is that a lot of people in this restaurant were not wearing masks. I feel bad for the employees who have to deal with these customers. read more
