This is an ok place. It was deserted when I came by around lunchtime, although I'm sure other places were probably slow too. I ordered the Chop Shop burger which came with pulled pork, their special BBQ sauce, and a sweet bacon. It was good. Pulled pork was juicy and moist. The burger patty was cooked fine. The fries are ok, under seasoned and not crispy. My wife got the ahi tuna sandwich and the fish only covered about 3/4ths of the bun at most. Would probably avoid getting fish at a bbq joint for future reference.

Pina Colada in plastic cups, kinda cool LOL missing the cherry and pineapple slice- but still cool & refreshing.

Wanted BBQ and hubby had seen this the NJ Chop Shop on a TV Food show.. I'm always up for some new grub. Found metered parking right out front that required quarters. I learned 4 years ago when I moved here to always have quarters for parking- kinda a no-brainer especially around the Shore. Popped in enough quarters for 2 hrs and we were off to have BBQ. Walked in it was bout 4:30p and it was just starting to fill up. First on the order was 2 Frozen Pina Coladas served in plastic cups- they were not sweet at all, I might pass next time. Mini-Me had soda. For appetizers we ordered the Disco Fries- I loved the gravy, hubby liked the cheese, I thought the cheese over powered the dish, but to counter that next time I'll order more gravy on the side. Fried pickles- really good! the dipping sauce was really perfect. Husband had the The Fat Dom and he relished the flavors of it, said that it held up well to his expectations. I ordered the BBQ Sampler and I gotta say that brisket was really good, tender, smoked perfectly and the pulled pork seasoned well and the ribs fall off the bone tender- I really enjoy the slaw here and the beans are a must for me. Mini-Me ordered the full rack of St. Louis Ribs and it was a huge portion, she had to take some of it home. Food Coma for all of us. Great place to bring the family, honestly you can share the platters of food so that every one can sample the goodness. Kids will love the ribs and the burgers- the burgers were flying out of the kitchen for the families there that had kids-- and a happy kid at dinner time is a quiet kid that is lovin' the food its eating! Good music selection and they have a huge chalk board with specials, there really is something for everyone here.

this place is absolutely horrible Got the wings were hard as a rock My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich That was spoiled and gray in color I got the pulled pork platter The coleslaw was spoiled and sour And beans horrid The cook came out and said Half ass It's the end of the season As if that's reason to serve spoiled food to customers He only took the chicken off bill when Everything was truly disgusting Hooks across the street Much better clean and good food and atmosphere

$3.00 for this cup of canned beans with supermarket bbq sauce and salsa.

Had been here before last year and recalled the food was somewhat better back then. The food we had (brisket sandwich and a brisket cheesesteak) were tasteless and clearly not smoked bbq brisket, but supermarket bought and microwaved. The baked beans, (again, not genuine baked beans) basically were canned beans someone had added some of the goopy bbq sauce they offered and salsa and that was it. My husband's biscuit was dry, pre-made and store bought as well. Lazily prepared, cheap quality food at expensive prices. It's a perfect scenario, a hotel with guests next door and not much other competition nearby. One thing that struck me was that there was no smell of bbq in restaurant. The one star is for the wings that were actually edible. Buyer beware!

Great little hidden gem. The entrance is in the hotel parking lot (took us a minute to find it). Reasonably priced, the food was great, and the service was wonderful too. We came around 5pm on a Saturday after enjoying some time on the boardwalk. I ordered the half & half wings after reading many reviews suggesting them. Let me tell you - I am a wing snob. These wings were perfect. Cooked just right with plenty of seasoning & sauce. My husband ordered the Murphy burger with sweet potato fries and he said his was great too. The kids had Mac & cheese which comes with fries. The serving sizes were plentiful for all of our foods. We'll definitely visit again!

Ah.mazing!! Food and service was awesome!! Hubby and I took the kids for dinner tonight. It wasn't crowded at 6 pm so we got seated right away. The server checked in on us frequently. We got the bbq wings and totchos for starters. They were so good. The totchos were covered in cheese and ranch and bacon. So bad but so goooooood! I had the fat dom sandwich. It's delicious but too big!! lol I ate half and brought the remainder home. Hubby had the sampler with brisket, ribs and pulled pork. Everything was gone from the cookie sheet they put it on. lol. Son always orders a burger and he was satisfied but it was too big. Lol. Had to bring half home. Very large portions! Princess had the chicken fingers and ate everything. We left with very full bellies. Good beer and cocktail menu. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items. It's a gem off the boardwalk. Definitely worth a visit! Enjoy!!

Chophouse salad split... Very fresh and crisp.. The blueberries and pecans are nice!

I have to make this quick, not much battery time left. Sat outside, enjoyed friendly prompt service, and really liked my meal! Perfect place too, not expensive, and spot to watch the fireworks. Could be a little cleaner inside, but I just found an outdoor outlet to charge my phone. Ok, 5 stars now to help boost their rating.

Epic BBQ and burgers!! All around good spot with great food and fast service. My burger had pulled pork & mac n' cheese on it and it was out of this world!!

Great little place in Seaside that's only open during the summer season. Menu has some classic choices and some with a nice twist to them. I kept it somewhat simple with the Alice Cooper burger, melted cheddar, buffalo sauce, blue cheese dressing, kettle chips & bacon. Yes all on the burger and the flavors just all went together very well and the burger was cooked perfectly. I did not want to finish because it was so good. The staff are all really friendly and helpful so worth a trip if you're in the area.

Brunch Burger. Mmmm. Nice smoke with the bacon. Like having Steak and Eggs on a bun.

Excellent menu and excellent food. We had the brisket sandwich, Chop Shop Burger, Brunch Burger and Chop Shop salad. All excellent. Did I say excellent? We will be back ! Service was friendly, a little slow, but the end product makes up for the time. Gave us time to chill and chat over cold drafts. Music was early 70's classic Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendricks. "Excuse me while I touch the sky."

No ribs. No tap beer. It's 6pm on Father's Day. The wings were incredible, on a side note.

Disco fries were fire! But the wings 100% needed more sauce, they were cooked really well though. Overall had a good experience.

Started with chips and salsa - made on-site and they also brought us three sauces, also made on-site - a jalapeño sauce, a red sauce and a tomatillo sauce. 100% recommend-all were delicious. We decided to split our meals and ordered a chicken burrito and the shrimp quesadillas. The burrito was very tasty, with what seemed like freshly made refried beans and delicious chicken. A little too much rice for me, I would have preferred less rice and maybe some grilled onions and peppers. The shrimp quesadillas were NOT what we expected. The shell seemed almost flash fried and in addition to the shrimp it had lettuce and melted manchego cheese. It was really, REALLY good. Service was great and we weren't rushed. There were four other tables filled while we were there and three of them were speaking Spanish which made me feel like we chose the right place. Seriously, I felt like the food here was made someone who'd been cooking like this for decades. A very cool little restaurant that I cannot recommend enough! Great food, great service, and a great location. (Sorry, forgot to take pics here)

He was drinking a Truly can and dropped multiple glasses, so spent his time walking up and down the bar doing absolutely nothing. Eventually a margarita and warm blue moon were delivered, but we didn't order a margarita and still - no drinks for the rest of the party.
