Great shop. The manager, Jose, runs a good crew of people that works in the mornings. I prefer this shop and its crew over the Rosecrans shop down the street as the crew always seems friendlier and more upbeat. This place gets very busy in the early mornings, be warned, but the food is worth it. They have a rewards program and will give you three bagels for free if you do their survey. The bagels I prefer are the pretzel, the ancient grains, and the Jalepeno Cheddar (toasted with cream cheese is awesome). Their Turkey Santa Fe sandwich is also a winner. I love Noah's Bagels! They're always so fresh, and they have a variety of flavors. They also do bagel sandwiches, so you can get really elaborate with your meal. My favorite go-to is very simple: a cinnamon sugar bagel toasted with regular schmear. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The people working there are very friendly too! read more

For its price, this is a pretty decent place to get some bagels. The only type of bagel I've tried here is the lox bagel. For $8 something, this is a great deal although the lox quality isn't the best thing ever. It's not bad but I've definitely have had better. Within that price, you can choose fruits or chips, which comes with a pickle, AND the sandwich. This is pretty worth it! The only thing that knocks off some stars from this review was the coloring of the lox. It all tastes the same everytime I get this bagel but it just seems a little discolored. It has a very pale, orange color which makes the salmon look like a very pale/pinkish sliced tomato. Not sure if this is fresh but it tastes normal! For its price, you get what you pay for! Haven't tried other bagels but I love lox, so that's the only one I've tried at Noah's Bagels so far. read more

I used to frequent this Noah's often a few months back. It's tucked away on Maple St. in El Segundo and most people don't know about this shopping plaza. I love Noah's for having the bagel thins....wow ingenious! It's the best thing for a girl watching her figure. I love whole wheat bagel thin toasted with salmon shmear, heaven! One time they were completely out so the manager was nice enough to offer a regular sized whole wheat bagel and scooped out the innards. So sweet! I also order their bagel & coffee boxes a couple times in the past for my employees. Times I've gone has been a quick service and never had a problem or long lines, maybe because I don't go at 6am when the whole world is in a rush to go to work and stop by here for bagels and coffee. I am from out of town (and country!), so please forgive me if the offers and service in a place like this is the norm, but wow I was impressed! It's pumpkin season, so all the options are there! I chose a pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese...this has entered my top 10 of the best foods I have ever eaten! I was eating it with a look of shock on my face, just shaking my head in amazement :D it tasted so good! Was fresh, nice mix of the toasted bagel and the pumpkin cream cheese...I think I could eat a bucket of the stuff. Yes, I love pumpkin :p And it wasn't heavy can you believe? Bottomless coffee?? Oh. Wow. They have the autumn roast now, lovely light flavor to it. I had 2 cups, had to be restrained from having more. I love how they tell you what time it was brewed at, meaning they try to always keep it fresh. Oh and the coffee came with the bagel for $3 something. Walked in this place and saw some lady cleaning up her dogs pee! This was not a service dog just some untrained pet being a nuisance and annoying the customers. The order taker asked me if i wanted the salmon schmear and i said no, the salmon meat bagel and i pointed to it.. She then asked me if i wanted it with capers. I said yes. 5 minutes later the bagel is ready, i look at it, and sure enough it is an onion bagel with gross orange schmear.. I went to the register and asked her "whats up, i ordered the salmon lox bagel", and she replied "well i charged you for the schmear one".. I thought this is odd... Rather than offering to fix it, she just denounced it as "its what I paid for" rather than "its what i ordered". the odd thing is that somewhere between the order taker asking me specifics about what I wanted, and the brainpower to enter it into the order system, it goes screwed up... Always good, I really like the wheat sesame with smear on the side and double toasted. Here is there trick, I bring my own tomatoes that I have sliced and bagged. I know it's weird, but I have never gotten a great tomato there and it's my favorite thing on my bagel. Service is great, coffee is good. Or you go next door and grab a Starbucks. When you have garbage FLOWING out of the garbage can, you might want to dump it out. I've never liked bagels until trying Noah's. Their bagels have a nice, chewy outside, but they are quite soft in the inside. I had mine toasted (and they did not over-crisp it or dry it out like other toasted bagels). Plus, the warm bread help melt the very tasty honey almond shmear, which provided a great texture (the honey almond shmear was a nice alternative to cream cheese). The schmear though was $1.50 extra for just one bagel--more than the bagel itself. I also sampled their bagel breakfast sandwiches--bagel, egg, bacon, and cheese. It was actually quite tasty, and the bacon was good. The egg (definitely not a fresh egg) was some pre-made, fast food-like mixture, but it was quite moist (and okay). Pass on the turkey sausage offering. This Noah's, located near the Pacific theater, gets quite busy in the morning. There are a few tables inside. Perfect place to pick up breakfast in the area. The lines aren't usually long but on some days you'll have to wait 5 min to order. I usually get the Santa Fe, southwest turkey sausage or the asparagus mushroom breakfast sandwiches. A jalapeno bagel with sundried tomato schmear is also a favorite of mine. They're all delicious! Sometimes they have breakfast combo deals where you can get a sandwich and coffee for $5. They sometimes attach coupons to your sandwiches as well. If you work in the area, use your Continental card! Tasty bagels. They provide a "shmear" of cream cheese on the bagel. While I don't necessarily mind this, I think next time I'll request it on the side. Also, conveniently located off Rosecrans Ave, and right near my hotel of choice when I'm in the area. They do have a tip jar at the register, and from what I have observed, the staff work hard to service their customers. Not sure what is going on here but service has really gone down. Was here a couple of weeks ago and our bagels were supposed to be thin bagels, per menu on the wall. When we got them were thick bagels and we didn't have time to deal with it. Today, there were at least 6 people behind the counter yet the coffee dispensers were empty, creamer and coffee spilt all over counter, which I wiped up myself. We had to ask them to make coffee. We ordered power thin, and to ask for thin bagel she didn't know it came with thin, then I got it and no spinach on it? I asked if they were out of spinach and someone asked why? I said because I didn't get any, she so "oh" no apology. Then my husband got the bacon avo tomato in thin, had to ask again to confirm thin. His didn't have any tomato shmear as per posted menu. Tables were dirty, no one wiping off any tables. I wiped mine off. Sad. So not sure if understaffed or under trained. Guess we will have to start going to one on Rosecrans. read more

I'm not the biggest fan of bagels just because they're so fattening and provide almost no nutritional benefits, but my friend wanted to come here so I willingly obliged. This Noah's is located in a small shopping center next to Starbucks. The store itself isn't huge so when there's a line, you may have to wait outside. What's weird about the way Noah's does things is that you have to order at one register and pay at another... Perhaps for efficiency? Who knows. The selection itself is almost exclusively bagels with a few pastries and a parfait in a cooler in the front. If you're not looking to eat carbs, definitely avoid this place. The bagels here, however, are very soft and compared to other places are made fresh and aren't crunchy. However, they are also extremely small so you aren't getting a huge portion for what seems like a lot of money. I ordered the egg, Swiss and mushroom bagel on a season pumpkin bagel and a hot tea which came to about $8. They skimped a bit on tea water, especially for $2. The bagel was also lacking in egg. The pumpkin bagel was EXTREMELY sweet- there was a sugary topping on it that I didn't anticipate, like a pound cake, so I don't recommend getting it with eggs, but it was good by itself! read more

I've been on a pumpkin kick since officially in the restaurant world Fall seems to have started. So, I made my way to Noah's this morning for a pumpkin schmear on a pumpkin crunch bagel and a frozen pumpkin pie drink. Ordering is semi confusing since you don't pay where you order and I wasn't sure if I was waiting for them to prepare something if I had to have it in my hand first. I let a few folks go ahead of me before the second register gal called my name and said to pay now. Then I waited for my stuff. The drink came first and it was so full of sickeningly sweet syrup that instead of being a light orange pumpkin color it was borderline brown. Took a sip and yep way too sweet...it was a third syrup I'd say...ick. The pumpkin bagel was too soft and squishy...definitely not the right texture for a bagel but the cream cheese was yummy. Besides really trying to give up many carbs in general, I think this location is a different store every time I am in there. - I've had morning experiences that are quick, helpful, stress-free bagel runs for my team at work....and I've had poor service nightmares. Never know which one I'm going to get. - I've stopped by for a quick bite for myself and I think the bagel options are good, although compared to my NYC heritage the bagels are TINY. The schmear options are decent, and no complaints there. - I've tried a couple sammiches during work lunches and they're ok...just ok. Depends on who makes it really...a couple folks there just cram stuff on, slobber mayo, and try to get you out the door...I prefer my sammiches to be a little more loved and caressed...what can I say...?!? So just no sure what to take of this shop...the service is spotty at best, the bagels can be small, and honestly if it were'nt so damned close to work, I wouldn't go here...but alas...I have to feed the minions often and they crave carbs. Came here for breakfast with my husband around 10am on a Thursday morning. At that point they were nearly out of all their bagels. We ordered to go. My husband ordered a lox bagel on an everything bagel and I ordered a Tuna salad on a cheddar jalapeno bagel. We also got a dog bagel for my dog. When we got home, I realized my bagel was not the jalapeno bagel, but a pumpernickel bagel. Not sure how they mixed those up. My bagel was also hard as a rock. I ended up opening it up and just eating some of the (bland) tuna salad off the top of it and throwing the rest away. My husband also didn't finish his. I've tried a wide variety of dishes at Noah's from the Pastrami to the salad and I've also tried their breakfast sandwiches and of course their coffee.
