    Speaks for itself.

I want to take a moment and update the very lengthy review I originally wrote about this location of Noah's Bagels all those years ago. :-) This location has remained a great place to get bagels on the hill. It's still probably the best place to get bagels if you either live in or are visiting the PV area. Over the years, very little has changed at this location since they opened. It's still basically the same set up, you walk in, order your bagel or your whatever at the counter, they get it ready for you, they give it to you, and you're either out the door or sitting down at one of the few tables they have. Speaking of tables, they have a couple of interior tables. These are great if it's raining outside or it's really warm or something like that. They also have their long-standing two or three outdoor tables. This is where I always prefer to sit. That way you get to enjoy whatever it is you are eating in the open air. I will say, however, that it is very common that a group of elderly people seem to congregate at these tables. So, like when I was there today, they actually took one of the tables, moved it way over by CVS, took all of the chairs, and sat down to have their powwow. This being stated, you can generally get seated at one of these few outdoor tables. If not, the next best bet is to take your items to-go. As is the case with many food service businesses, the staff here continually change. From my experience, over the many years I've come to this location, the staff is always nice, and they do their job very well. In terms of food, obviously what they offer is revolved around bagels. But, more than just bagels, they do some really great sandwiches, egg orientated presentations, and, of course, a few other bakery items. They're all really good. Plus, as you would expect, they do have a few drinks, and, of course, coffee, which is always pretty good. As modern technology has taken hold, they now also offer in-app ordering. I really suggest you get the app, then you can order ahead, and your order will most likely be ready and waiting for you when you arrive. Yes, sometimes it takes a little while, and you do have to wait if you order online, if they're really busy. But, overall, it's currently the best way to order. Plus, if you order via the app, you build up points and you always get all of these freebies. Whether that's a free bagel, a drink, or the other things they offer, free is always fun. It's really a great way to get that little added something for going into this business. Overall, if you want bagels, and you're on the hill, this is pretty much the best place to get them.

I made the mistake of coming later in the day with not many bagels to choose from. However, onion bagels were still present and are a mainstay for breakfast. Although the selection was slim pickings, I did see some new types of bagels over the other locations. I would come back early in the morning next time...

I almost feel like advertising that your establishment has New York quality food is false advertising unless it's really in New York. My bagel was NOT New York quality, however, I know that good bagel places are hard to come by in California so, I'm definitely saving this place the next time I crave one. The service lagged a bit for nobody being in line, but, once I got to the register, the lady who helped me was very friendly and made eye contact with me. It was about 11am, so, I was very pleased to see that the coffee containers still had a fresh batch. This place has minimal seating inside and outside.

Make sure to check how much spread they put on before you leave the store. They put very little cream cheese on my sandwich.

This place needs a major overhaul. They have many employees working, but not much production. Today I had a quick simple order. Just put the items in a bag and. give them to me. The guy put them in the bag and walked away. It took 10 minutes for someone to hand me the bag from behind the counter. The cinnamon roll had a nasty hair under it. This place is disgusting.

I ordered the chorizo avocado sunrise bagel. This might be an overstatement but it was the best breakfast bagel sandwich I've had. The ingredients were simple but yet it was delicious. Not much more I could ask for. Service was very kind. It took about three minutes to receive my order. The ambiance is relaxed. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating.

I have been here a few times at this location in RPV and also the one on Larchmont in LA. I love these bagels, they're the ones based on the NYC bagels. I ordered today, like usual, one turkey and avocado club, and one lox and cream cheese. These are delicious, chewy, and flavorful bagels. They also have fresh bagels to go with your favorite cream cheese spreads. I have also ordered these along with fresh brewed coffees and juices. The servers are great, have a great attitude, and are friendly. The counter can get very busy at times, but today was pretty slow. I hope this location gets busier again. Please support this establishment. Also, today, the seats were gone, maybe because of the covid numbers rising again or for cleaning? Anyway, enjoy!

I pulled an all nighter and watched as they opened up shop, so I knew I was going to get FRESH of the FRESH bagels. I ended up trying their chocolate chip bagel with blueberry cream cheese. Maaaaaaaaaaan. This was some next level bagel stuff. It was chewy, doughy, had a good bite to it, with the smack of chocolate chips. It was spectacular. Finger looking GOOD. The cream cheese.?.?? I never steer away from plain cream cheese. But I took my chances. I put my big girl pants on and tried a new flavor. And woOoOoOowwwwyyyyy it was good. And it paired with the chocolate chip bagel so weelllllll. I've also had their tuna bagel beforehand and that one is just as good. A little different but definitely a good tuna salad bagel. 10/10 I love this location and their bagels. Location is small with very limited seating inside and outside. You get a great amount of lox for a decent price (1/2 lb for around $22). Two containers of their 8 oz cream cheeses (one original and one chive). Then a half dozen of bagels. All under $50! Fed around 12 people at our family brunch and everyone loved it. I do think one container would do for 6 bagels depending on how much everyone uses. (Definitely try the Hawaiian bagel!) The place is small but cozy and clean. I think there were a few tables to sit on but most people come in to just order and pick up. On top of that, the ladies were super lovely and even got my order going for me on the phone. I wish I was closer so we could get their lox and bagels more often! My boyfriend ordered a jalapeño bagel and she responded with "I don't see it," as if we were supposed to know where everything was. A moment later she said, "Never mind, I see it." I then noticed she grabbed a bagel from the basket labeled "wheat," so I politely said that he wanted jalapeño. She gave me attitude, rolled her eyes, and said, "Yeah, that's what I got." Looking closer, I realized the labels were actually switched....the wheat bagels were in the basket labeled jalapeño, and the jalapeño bagels were in the basket labeled wheat. I considered mentioning it again, but after how rude she had already been, I didn't want to deal with more attitude. I ordered an asiago bagel and we both got bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. The food was okay, but honestly nothing special and not anything we couldn't make at home ourselves. Because of the rude service, we definitely will not be coming back.

I came in with high hopes after checking the website and Google Maps -- the food looked delicious, and I heard the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. I ordered while second in line behind one man. There were four people behind me. I was the only Black person in the building. As I waited, I watched every single person who came in after me get their food while I was still standing there. Eventually, I walked up to the cash register ready to ask for my money back. Only then was my order finally prepared. I've experienced this kind of passive-aggressive treatment too many times, businesses that serve people of color last, even when we're ahead in line. It's disappointing and exhausting. I'll be keeping my hard-earned money in my pocket and spending it at businesses that practice fair treatment for everyone, instead of what feels like collective protection based on complexion. Bagel is decent.

One of the things I haven't mentioned was that the restaurant was very crowded during my first visit. I also don't have as much experiance writing reviews at around the time when I gave the rating. But I firmly believe that the reasoning for the three star was because of my conflicted thoughts with the tasting aspect of the food, I felt that the green garden avacado toast egg sandwich which lacked in flavor along with the cinnamon muffin. So in short, I didn't really enjoy the food personally. But objectively, the experiance was very well--Which is why I am changing my rating. As I have previously mentioned on the last review--I did, however, enjoy the ambiance of the place. The decor and overall concept is quite amazing. The cafe had a contemporary vibe and the patterns were unique in a way that made it stand out. The service was also good, had no concerns regarding the staff. But to sum everything up, I do believe that a four would be a more reasonable rating than the previous. But I did decide to give the place another try and did end up enjoying it, along with understanding more about writing reviews. So I sincerely apologize for giving the place a low rating without explaining specifics.
