I love saying I'm a regular at this Einstein's. The staff now is great and welcoming. I love when 3 of my favorite employees wave and yell out, "Hi Linda!". So special nowadays when everything seems to be impersonal and business as usual. A yell out to 'Tall' David, Ryan and Emily for always giving that extra special service .. they were all there today! Bagels are great and mine were actually warm from just being made! All of my favorites were available so I bought the Bakers Dozen. Busy with happy customers today. Update Hello, so I wanted to re-write my previous review because of how it lacked specifics on what needed to be improved instead of it's focus on the experiance. One of the things I haven't mentioned was that the restaurant was very crowded during my first visit. I also don't have as much experiance writing reviews at around the time when I gave the rating. But I firmly believe that the reasoning for the three star was because of my conflicted thoughts with the tasting aspect of the food, I felt that the green garden avacado toast egg sandwich which lacked in flavor along with the cinnamon muffin. So in short, I didn't really enjoy the food personally. But objectively, the experiance was very well--Which is why I am changing my rating. As I have previously mentioned on the last review--I did, however, enjoy the ambiance of the place. The decor and overall concept is quite amazing. The cafe had a contemporary vibe and the patterns were unique in a way that made it stand out. The service was also good, had no concerns regarding the staff. But to sum everything up, I do believe that a four would be a more reasonable rating than the previous. But I did decide to give the place another try and did end up enjoying it, along with understanding more about writing reviews. So I sincerely apologize for giving the place a low rating without explaining specifics. read more

Very disappointed today. We stood in line where it said "Order Here" and were then told to move to another register, which resulted in several people getting in front of us. Our order was simple 3 toasted bagels with cream cheese, but we had to repeat ourselves multiple times, the order was still wrong, and we ended up waiting in line three separate times to get everything corrected. To top it off, my bagel looked undercooked and doughy. I know everyone has off days, but this was a frustrating experience and a huge waste of time. When I use to commute to work, I use to pick up a bagel before I hit the freeway about 1-2 times a week. Using their app, I racked up enough points for a free dozen bagels several times. Placed an order online, arrived about 15-20 mins. Order was placed on Online pick up. I didn't have my coffee cup. I asked for a side of Jalapeños, never received them. Time was agains me and I had to leave I overheard another customer asking about the Hazelnut coffee (which is why I come for, THE COFFEE) I didn't get my coffee cup, or my side of jalapeños !! We were looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast and my husband he use to grab breakfast here when he use to work in Torrance. I always heard about the franchise but never close to a store. My husband ordered the Farmhouse and I got a jalapeño cheddar bagel with one egg, turkey sausage and cheddar. We also ordered a cheddar hash brown which our daughter liked. This location seemed to pretty popular in the morning. The bagel sandwich was just okay for me but it's a good stop if you need to grab a quick breakfast. Update on previous review (2 years ago): Management says they're "sorry" for letting me down. If that's true why do they STILL not have salt or Sweet'n Low?? Today's experience: They STEAL tips if you don't watch them closely. I used my ATM card's chip and tapped it, never putting in any tip, yet the receipt showed a $3.00 tip. Regarding tips: When I pay for something and am handed the item that I purchased, why do some people feel that's "above and beyond" and expect a tip? This is getting out of hand. This was my first visit, and I ordered the Baker's Dozen. The cashier filled our bagel box without providing any explanation or clarifying the pricing, then directed us to pay at the next register. At checkout, we were informed that our total was significantly higher $9.00 to be exact because 10 of the 13 bagels were subject to an additional $0.90 charge each--something that had not been communicated upfront. In addition my drink was supposed to be a LARGE and she charged for a small. I paid for them but was slightly upset especially since finances are tight due to inflation. I spoke with the manager, who apologized and acknowledged that we should have been informed of the extra charges. However, no compensation was initially offered. Only after I mentioned it did she say, "Well, I accidentally made an extra drink--so you can have it if you like." Came here 3 days in a row now. Got the Spinach Florentine bagel twice and happy to say it's consistently fantastic. That char cheese flavor on the edges and that gooey cheese with spinach in the middle is now my go-to. 3rd day I tried the jalapeño cheese bagel, fantastic as well. It's a different cheese than the spinach one (cheddar) and I didn't really taste any of that char cheese flavor on the edges like the spinach bagel but it was still fantastic. Crispy cheese, jalapeño heat that wasn't overwhelming (I hear the green chile bagel is spicier, may try that next, but need to try the hash brown bagel first). The last time I went in I would have rated this a 4 but today it's a 1. I don't know if the management changed but the quality and atmosphere has changed for the worse. The bagel I usually get didn't resemble a bagel anymore and I could tell as soon as I saw them. Even after double toasting it was a gooey bready texture. I had no idea what to get when I walked in, I ordered a Ham and Swiss on honey whole wheat bagel (yeah idk ‍ just trying to look for healthy options lol) and a vanilla cream cold brew. This place is worth visiting again. My sandwich was good, I feel like it needed a little more meat and cheese, but the flavor was delicious. Maybe I need to request more meat next time or try a different sandwich. But I would love to try their signature "shmear " and spreads on a bagel next time. My coffee was amazing, it was the perfect amount of sweet and the perfect amount in a small cup. The prices here are not ridiculous, it was clean and there was a long line so business is good for them. I was happy that the workers were on top of their game, it was a busy day for them with two registers open, and all the workers hustling, not to mention the quality service and friendliness despite the high traffic. If you're in the area doing some shopping at the mall, running to Costco or errands I'd say it's a great place to get a quick bite! read more

I remember ordering curbside during the pandemic and service was always timely and cheerful. Fast forward a few years and while Covid will always be present we are more comfortable entering establishments with or without masks. I agree that if you show up and order at the counter it can be quite a wait. I always order on the app and then drive over to pick up. Tasty bagels! Had to do fasting blood work a few blocks away and made a stop here for breakfast. I always like to get the cheese bagels toasted with lots of cream cheese along with a hot cup of decaf. The order taker and the person calling out my order were nice enough. It is a bummer though that they still block off all the tables in end of November 2022. They have plenty of tables and do not allow dine-in due to COVID. So, I enjoyed my bagel and coffee from inside my car. There are some tables outside but, they were taken. Einstein also offers breakfast sandwiches in addition to the various types of bagels and spreads. I am not a regular here but, would return if I am in the area craving something savory with my decaf.
