When Luna was working on my nails, if I ever had an issue or something that I wish was slightly different, she was quick to fix these slight problems without any complaints. The atmosphere is very nice and the music honestly made me calm and tired. My nails came out to be $65 making them pretty affordable as I was able to get builder gel and a 3D design. I don't understand why this place is rated 5 stars. From the moment I walked in, I should've known to leave, but I was short on time and relied on the reviews. I came in to get a Gel-X set and for my sister to get a pedicure. I had an old Gel-X set that I wanted removed, and I was hoping for a new, clean set. The first red flag was when the technician started drilling my nails, and it started to burn. But again, I trusted the high ratings. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst Gel-X set I've ever had. Initially, I was hopeful when they asked where I got my previous set done because some of my nails had excess gel coming out from the back. But the set I got today was much worse. I prefer Gel-X because of the clean, crisp lines and the precision of the shape. There's usually no way to mess it up. However, this technician added a thick layer over the Gel-X nails, making them look thick and lumpy. I asked for square nails, but she kept filing them into a squoval shape instead. I also asked for my cuticles to be removed, but that wasn't done until the end. When she finally did it, it was one of the worst cuticle removals I've ever experienced. I hadn't realized it at first, but the cuticle clipper was not sanitized--it didn't come from a sanitized package. That's when I noticed that nothing she used on me was sanitized or disposable. This place is a nail chop shop, and the state should come in and shut them down. If my sister or I end up with an infection, we know exactly where we got it from. To make matters worse, while I was staring at my awful nails, my sister saw a huge roach run behind me. This place is gross and unhygienic, and they clearly don't know how to do Gel-X nails. My sister's pedicure turned out cute, but I'm worried about the hygiene standards there as well. It was also sketchy how the lady asked me to pay her through Zelle when I was going to use my credit card with Apple Pay. If I had more time, I would have told her to fix my nails or at least remove them completely. I usually pay $100 for my Gel-X nails at my regular salon and leave happy and satisfied. At this place, I paid $65 and felt completely ripped off because of the horrible job. The worst part was the time I wasted; I wanted to cry. I don't have the time to get them fixed. It was incredibly disappointing and frustrating to pay money, waste so much time, and then realize that fixing them would cost even more time that I simply don't have. I wouldn't even step foot back there to have them fixed. I realized I lost precious time and $75 because I still tipped her! read more

Don't go to Peter. I got a pedicure by him and he didn't give me what I wanted. Told him I didn't like it and he said "come back in 2 weeks when you get another one." Like no, i actually won't be coming back at all. He thinks he knows whats good and won't listen to what YOU want. Made me bleed as well. I also said I didn't like my nails and he didn't offer to fix them or find a solution or anything. He didn't listen to me at all when I told him multiple times what I wanted, instead he tried to lie. I wanted a milky pink color underneath my chrome powder and he said "we don't have that" and instead he went to a random cart and grabbed the first pink he saw. I said I didn't like it but still continued to use it! And they do have that color i was asking for too, it's in their color book. Don't go to him unless you want an incompetent person doing your nails who thinks they know it all but doesn't know how to do their job. read more

I came first thing in the morning since my appointment was as early as I could come and I was happily greeted for my business and received manicure and pedicure services at the same time. I've been going here for at least 7 yrs and will sadly stop due to quality of service going down over the past 3 times I've been in. In May I came in for a gel pedicure and was stuck with someone who had little to no experience. I was patient and decided to look past it. In June I came back in for a gel pedicure and manicure. Steven insisted on doing dip powder. I have very little experience so decided to give it a shot. I hated it. It was really thick and badly applied. He didn't even bother cleaning my cuticle. Within 2 weeks the gunk on my nails was lifting and getting caught in my hair. I was so unhappy I went back in end of June to get it off. Steven again insisted on redoing it and applying it much thinner. I take full responsibility for allowing him to do it but again it was bad. He rushed through the whole service and it all looked bad. They were bumpy, my cuticle wasn't cleaned up again, there was a lot residue stuck on my fingers and underneath the nail. Here's a picture of my nails after only a week and half. It's already lifting and cracking. Please keep in mind I have a desk job and have not been doing anything that could damage my nails. read more

I am ashamed I haven't reviewed sooner! I have been coming for years! They give the best pedicures ever! I usually request Steven who is so kind and attentive I enjoy every moment. I get option 2 every time and it is worth the small amount more from option 1. If I had more time I would even do option 3. Vivian has done my nails for years and never rushes. She takes her time and always makes sure I am happy. She deal with all my Pinterest design requests and does a beautiful job. She is also just a sweet person who I enjoy seeing every visit. Lily is who my teen daughter sees each visit. She is also so talented and deals with my daughters crazy design requests. She is patient and welcoming. I do appreciate that you can text or call to make appointments and they actually follow appointment times and don't have you waiting. If you do come here PLEASE properly tip. I cringe when anyone does $5 for a tip. If the service is too costly for you don't do it. But $5 even $10 doesn't buy anything these days. These people are hardworking and deserve to be tipped accordingly. They are not responsible for cost of products. They are paid hourly and rely on tips for any impact to their livelihood. Well, I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I sat down at Noble Nails Spa. I received a Gel Pedicure and it was amazing! I love my white toes, the ambiance was nice and chill and the leg massage was phenomenal! I mean...I selected Package #2 and honey!!!! Whew I believe my legs were massaged for 16 minutes! This is a hidden gem tucked towards the back of University Village, but worth finding. It's a modest salon, just like the owners, but worth it! They always do a good job. I have never been disappointed. They do a great chrome and cat eye gel manicure. They also offer, cute embellishments, like tiny crystals or flowers added to your pedicures. I had requested Katie again hoping for the same experience and that was not the outcome. My nails came out crooked and she kept blaming my nail shape but I had gone to her before and this did not happen. I fixed my nails when I was home but still. She also was unable to do the nails I requested which were very simplistic, whenever I go into a nail salon I always ask for a simply French tip because they typically don't do well with designs. She ended up putting stickers on them bc she was unable to draw a simple flower. It is safe to say I was disappointed and will not be returning, I also advise you to not go. read more

My sister who lives in Sacramento has been going to this nail salon for years and really loves it. So when I visited her recently we both got deluxe pedicures with foot scrub and paraffin. It was amazing! First of all the salon is very clean and I felt good knowing that they take cleanliness seriously. Lily the owner is very friendly and outgoing. My nail technician was Katie. She was excellent! She was quick and knew exactly what she was doing paying great attention to detail. After soaking my feet in the whirlpool bath, she massaged my cuticles, trimmed my toenails, then scrubbed my feet and heels gently with a fresh scented scrub and after applied paraffin wax. During my treatment I received a wonderful massage from their massage lounger. It was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. I asked for sparkly Wicked green polish since the movie Wicked was coming out soon and she delivered, with a technique they call cat's eye, where they pull together some of the glitter in the polish by using a small magnet while the polish is still wet. So cool! After the treatment my feet felt so soft and I love love love my sparkly green toes! They still look amazing after 2 weeks, full of shine and sparkle! I couldn't be happier! I'm definitely going back to Noble Nails Spa when I come back to visit my sister again in Sacramento. Thanks to everyone there who made my visit so special. I really wanted to like this place because it's close to work. The tech that did my nails hurt me multiple times. Kept drilling my natural nails for no reason. He had just removed my previous set to start a new full set. There was no acrylic just the tips he placed (a few crooked but whatever). And each time I told him he was hurting me he joked with the pedicure tech like she did it. I know trimming cuticles isn't usually included but most places do anyway. There weren't multiple skin tone shades of powder to choose from which I'm also used to at other shops. And for my pedicure, the tech skipped scrubbing my feet altogether. I was too distracted by my nail tech to notice and by the time I did it was way past the stage for me to say anything. Overall, I'm mostly fine with the final outcome, but I won't be back. read more

The pedicure was nice I just did the basic one and it was good with rocks and a quick massage. I got a basic gel manicure by Lily, super sweet and kind.
