The food was delicious. I had cauliflower curry. The service was friendly and even took our photo for #timeleft

We always walked by Wild Ginger and when we had some out of town guests, we went out for dinner here. The food and service were fantastic. We will definitely be returning.

The menu is a pleasant combination of foods from many Asian cuisines. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful.

Came here right after work on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Got the fragrant duck and it was pretty good. I got the half which is shown in the picture. The less expensive one is the quarter. Overall duck was pretty decent and flavorful. It was just a little dry and some of the skin was overly salty but not too bad.

First evening in Seattle before our Alaska Cruise. Stopped in for a bite. Absolutely delicious food, good drinks, and great service. Highly recommend.

Review based on two visits: They are really fortunate to have such awesome staff. Kind, professional, helpful. Atmosphere of building is nice, simple, big, accommodating. What they do well: desserts, prompt service, hand towels between meals that are nicely hot and refreshing. The lamb chops and lettuce cups were a good choice. What they can work on: quality of rice, there's just better tasting brands, way to cook, and be fresh. And honestly, cocktails were mediocre for me.

Literally the WORST restaurant I've been to in Seattle. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Came around 5:30pm on a Thursday night with a friend. There were about 6 other small parties. We ordered spring rolls, beef satay, and tofu. We got the spring rolls and beef satay about 20 min after we ordered. They messed up our order and took the second one away. The portions were so small, the food was super bland and just greasy. I'm pretty sure the spring rolls were frozen food, at least they tasted like it. We left before they brought out the tofu. The total for the food was $30 when it should've been $12-15. I also got the lemongrass lemonade which was pretty much water with a bit of lemon juice. My friend got a coke and it was $6. Save your money and stomachs and go somewhere else to eat

I just got the chicken satay and our friends split the crispy spring rolls. Spring rolls were solid, though those are pretty hard to mess up! Got the chicken satay appetizer since I wasn't super hungry, I think it ran me $13-15? It came with 6 little flavorful skewers with a slightly-sweet and chunky peanut dipping sauce, little cubes of sticky rice, and a tiny salad. Delightful! We came in at a very odd hour so hardly anyone was in the building. It was very spacious (two floors) with a slightly upscale ambiance. Servers were friendly and attentive!

The duck was absolutely worth coming back for. I would highly recommend! Here's what we ordered: * Fragrant Duck: This duck was amazing, and I didn't expect such delicious steamed buns. This is a must-have and the reason for this 5-star review. I will happily come back *just for this dish, and I highly recommend you do the same. * Seven Flavor Beef: The beef here was very tender and well-prepared. The sauce was delicious, although a bit too salty. This dish does need rice! I would say this is a step up from your neighborhood mongolian beef, but I don't think it blew me out of this world. * (Curry): This dish was a bit bland, and the curry didn't have much taste. I wouldn't recommend this dish, but definitely try the other two! As other reviews mentioned before, food did take a while, but the waitstaff is very attentive with water and getting seated was a breeze. We were seated right by the window, so we had lovely views of folks mooning us from the street -- there may be more ideal seating areas elsewhere. All in all, I will be back... possibly just for the duck!

Went for my birthday last month and was impressed.Absolutely loved the ambience of Wild Ginger, and the service was great! Never have I ever dined at a restaurant that provided hot towels 5-star restaurant with affordable cuisine, I highly recommend the Indonesian beef; very sweet dish. And don't get me started on the ice cream!

It had lettuce and a lot of deep fried egg noodles and a lot of random other things that didn't go well together. that said, the space is super cute and aesthetically pleasing, and the owners were genuinely kind and helpful. they went out of their way to help our party of 10 pick dishes they thought we'd enjoy, which i really appreciated. i just left feeling ngán and pretty unsatisfied, which sucks because i had high hopes coming in. i feel bad saying this, but it honestly felt like a waste of money. i hope it was just an off day.

Unfortunately, the ordering terminals were a hot mess and crowded and many things seem to have been out of stock in the terminals. It was very confusing where to pick up the food and where anything was so that was the first part. Then the second part was my friend ordered Ramen and didn't get it for 45 mins to an hour. He kept checking and the chef kept saying to just wait.... and then finally, the chef admitted he lost the order. The chef said someone must have picked it up but there was no way someone picked it up since we were staring at the window the whole time. It really was unacceptable - they did not handle the situation well - no offer of a refund and they tried to blame my friend for somehow not ordering properly or kept trying to say someone else stole it. Finally, after a big to do, they finally granted my friend the refund. It was not a fun experience at all. The vibe is good and all and it really should be a better place than it really is. I like what they were going for and I appreciate that but they need to be way better organized. The ordering terminals are too few and some are broken and the numbering system makes no sense. Please organize it better.

We were glad to dine here on a cold, rainy day, as they had noodle soup to warm us up. Sen Noodle Bar is located on a popular street in Ballard, so is easy to find with street parking around. In particular, we dined here after visiting the Nordic Museum, which was a short walk down the street. On a Thursday night, the place wasn't busy, with just a few patrons dining in. My partner ordered the suki talay while I had the coconut turmeric noodle soup with chicken. It didn't take long for our bowls to be out, and everything was solid. My coconut turmeric noodle soup with chicken was flavorful, and liked the bean sprouts for some crunch with the liquid and tender chicken. I also love turmeric, so was glad that this was the base of the dish along with the coconut. Overall, if you're looking for some southeast Asian noodle dishes then Sen Noodle Bar has you covered, along with local taps, appetizers, friendly staff in a fun setting where the string lights shine in every color inside all year round. We tried to order a different chicken dish they were out of before settling for the roast chicken, but the roast chicken was excellent and I'd recommend it! :D Very tender and juicy. I don't think I liked this physical location as much as the other Ba Bars I've been to.
