When my furnace stopped working in the middle of winter (with colder than normal temps... brrr), they were able to quickly deploy a technician to diagnose the issue and propose a solution. My furnace had basically reached the end of its lifecycle and the technician, John, gave an honest recommendation to replace the unit vs. hope that repairs could prolong use until inevitable replacement came due. Furnace replacement would likely save more money in the long run, so we went forward with replacement. Within 30 minutes after final installation and testing, the new furnace stopped working. I immediately texted John, who trekked back to my house and proceeded to spend hours diagnosing the issue. He was so dedicated that it was 10:30 pm (long after they closed for the day) before we decided to call it a night and try again. The next time he showed up, he brought a manufacturer's rep to help diagnose the problem. While the installation had followed the manufacturer's instructions step-by-step, some random condition (that wasn't in the manual) caused the malfunction. A fairly simple fix later and the furnace has been working wonderfully for the past two years. I've recommended John and Nakaoi to both family and friends... and now my dad is recommending this company to his friends. Jon is Hawaiian. Nokaoi means "best" in Hawaiian word. I had a not-working gas fire furnace.I found the names on the face of the furnace.One of them showed 4,656 with hefty senior discount (total was well over 6G). So starting search over the Internet.I picked one of who has good reviews .This guy made me more scared by saying the cost of changing HEAT EXCHANGER for 6,155. Replacement of whole unit would be well over the 10G. And I happened found this somewhat strange named NOKAOI. JON had visited my place and said I would replace the whole unit with 4,000.So I sent him Green light. I didn't know Furnace and Air conditioner were connected somehow .When furnace was shutdown I couldn't use air conditioner normally. I thought my air conditioner was in trouble.Jon knew my ignorance.Fixing or replace of the air conditioner unit would be around 5~9G. His humanity, honestly was shining when he said air-conditioning worked well just after finishing replacement of furnace.So I have now a cool and warm air both. Fantastic service! Our HVAC went out out on Friday night while we had family in town for a wedding and had to spend a hot night indoors without AC... My A/C went out today with the temperature at 98. I was frantic because we are heading for several days reaching triple digits. It was after business hours and I tried contacting several well known HVAC companies to see if anyone was available but they were booked out for days.
