I have only been to Noli's Vite for lunch a few times, but have enjoyed that experience. We learned from a waiter that the folks who operate the place are from Kosovo. There are a dozen common Italian favorites on the lunch menu all for $9.99 (includes soup or salad and bread, as of april 4th 2019). I have tried the pasta sampler, lasagna and meat stromboli, I enjoyed them all. All of the lunch specials come with marinara sauce, which I found delicious although one of my more picky friends thought it was a bit sweet. The bread (knots) were served fresh and hot, the salad was unremarkable (as others have pointed out), the main courses were all generous in size and quite tasty. The service was good and crowding and long waits have not occurred the times I visited. There are few options for Italian food in New Braunfels (not including pizza). Gennaro's is excellent but considerably more expensive and the Olive Garden is well... not that great, but not as terrible as some snobs declare. Noli's seems like a good choice for decent food at a reasonable price. read more

We have been coming here occasionally since it opened as my husband loves Italian food. Calamari appetizer has always been good and cooked correctly, today it was dry and tough (overcooked). I sent it back and got to pay $15.99 for it anyway without even a comment or dialog. All prices have gone up. They want to act like a high end restaurant but can't even give you a salad fork or refill you water. I love the manicotti so much. The pasta is fresh rolled. Their tomato vinaigrette for the side salad is unique and I crave it on the regular now. Lots of places have garlic knots but these are my favorite, they've got the right kind of chew to them. I can't wait to try everything. Saw this on Yelp while looking for new spots in our new hometown! From the minute we were seated we knew this was a winner! The hot bread, cold beer and smiling faces made us feel welcome. Leaving a 1 star review doesn't even begin to explain how poor this experience was. Came to NVs for dinner with family, our waitress was cold, unfriendly, rarely came and checked on us/removed dishes, refilled drinks- but that's not even the bad part. The food was horrendous. The calamari tasted like burnt pork rinds, the cheese-sticks tasted like they had freezer burn, the "complimentary" bread was not cooked all the way, very doughy. 5 out of 7 guests dinner was disgusting. I took 2 bites of the "Nolis Favorite Chicken", bland and soggy. The other pasta dishes looked, smelled, and tasted like frozen microwaveable pastas. The real kicker was the bill- extremely overpriced. Spent north of $300 on 7 adults and no one even finished their meal, most went largely untouched- we don't even spend that much at McAdoos (which is far superior)!!! Excellent find. While NB has some good choices for food there are a few types that have eluded us. Italian, Mexican that isn't Tex mex and Chinese are among the places that have been hard to come by. We solved the Italian food crisis with Nolis. It's kind of an odd location as if you aren't paying attention it looks like part of the medical center but don't let that fool you. Staff is awesome from the time you walk in until leaving. We had a server who we were told that didn't speak much English and was in training. He told us he had recently arrived from Germany. He was fantastic. What he didn't have in experience he made up for with effort that's for sure. So much flavor on everything we ordered and we tried a lot with it being our first time. Food is best I ever had. I have been watching very closely on how they delivering the food. This owner need to step up the plate is serving warm plate. When I got the plate, is it cold from kitchen to my table. I strongly encourage the owners to keep The plate warm so we can take our time to enjoy the food and exchange the experience in the atmosphere. I know I am spoiled to good Italian food, living in south Louisiana for 30 yrs. (More Italians immigrated thru N.O. than N.Y. at turn of 20th century). Even after telling waiter (he obviously thinks his banter is cute) to not hurry & to bring my appetizer out w/entree it still showed up way early-think cold calamari-. The TINY specs of sausage in the calzone were embarrassing. They must have had a "run" on alfredo sauce because they drown my wife's entree in the Sh__. The room is incredibly noisy-typical of a pool hall. I'll go to Burger King or olive garden before returning to this rip-off., This may have been the worse/expensive "Italian" meal I have ever had! Wow absolutely terrible experience here. The food was not that great. We waited over 45 minutes for the food to come out. Acoustics in the place are terrible, you can't hear a thing from those around you because it is so loud in this tight space. My husband ordered the sampler & asked for alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce. We were charged $8 additional for him to change from tomato sauce to alfredo!!!! Without the waiter warning us up front about this upcharge when he ordered! My water stayed empty the whole time. Waiter was nowhere to be found so I could ask for more water n another glass of wine. The salad was cheap, didn't taste good at all, we didn't eat it. The food took so long to come out that I was full off garlic knots & the appetizer, I asked the waiter to just put my entree into a to go box (which I thought was pretty polite of me as opposed to just canceling it since it took over 45 minutes to bring out). However, instead of doing so, he brought it out in a plate & insisted that I take at least one bite & try it. Really? So, I stated again (politely) to put it in a to go box & I will take it home. The restaurant itself was pretty. We went on a Saturday night at 4 pm and it was not crowded. I felt the food was okay, but not as flavorful as I would have liked. My meal came with a soup or salad, and when I asked the waiter what type of soup it was he just stated "a chicken soup." The garlic knots and the chicken soup were delicious. My husband ordered the Ribeye Damabianca. It was a very nice sized steak, but I did not feel it had enough flavor. He also ordered it medium and it was coked all the way through. OMG I love this place, it is small and new, but don't let the lack of signage drive you away. The portions are great, the service is even better. I am not 100% sure, but there has to be a little old Italian grandma in the kitchen. You always start out with bread, just ask for the dipping oil and another basket, but save room for the meal and even more room for desert. Who does not love great Italian food? We have eaten there several time and I had not written a review. I guess I started this one and did not finish it. The last time we ate there was in August so I apologize for the delay. I do remember the last item I ate there is was the cannelloni. And it was wonderful. Excellent food, service. Our work team ate lunch here and we all tried different options, fettudcine alfredo, lasagna, stromboli, etc. All the food was great. The starter salad was very nice with lots of fresh ingredients like artichokes, cheese, olives, in other words, not just a lettuce salad. They serve garlic knots with fresh olive oil and they were wonderful. We even tried dessert, tiramisu, cannoli, cheesecake, all very good. We have been To Noli's several times and looked forward to a nice dinner tonight. Our waiter told us they now had their liquer liscense and were serving mixed drinks, so I ordered a martini, husband ordered a beer. For dinner I ordered the Pasta combo and he ordered the pasta in clam sauce, both were excellant. Everything about the meal was perfect, the drink, bread, dinner, service; until the bill came. The martini was $17! I was shocked! The pasta in clam sauce was the same price! I asked about the price and our server said she felt it was overpriced as well, but there was nothing she could do about it. I just checked menus of several nice restaraunts in NB and Austin, and none had $17 martini's! Yes, it was good, but good grief, it probably cost all of $2 to make! It will be a very long time before we return unfortunately. I don't like being ripped off more than once. read more

Just enjoyed a delicious meal at Noli's. I tried it again dubiously because my husband and I used to eat there and a year or so ago the food went downhill. So much so, I had a seafood dish and it smelled horrible. I also noticed while reading reviews this morning there were similar bad reviews twelve months ago. Fast forward and I see rave reviews. I am excited to say that everything was fresh and delicious! No brown lettuce in the salad nor was the salad wet. Cold, crisp and with delicious house dressing. My friend had a stuffed pasta dish and loved it. I had the shrimp Florentine with Alla Panna sauce. It was amazing. My hubby had the fettuccini carbonara to go and it was divine. Please give this local eatery a chance especially if it has been a long time. Great service; hot, fresh food. Also staff and owner very diligent about safety precautions. read more

My husband and I ate here last night. If you're considering dining here, do it! We were a little put off by the location in a strip mall and the cheesy interior with cheap tables and chairs, so we didn't expect much. I'm so glad we stayed. Other reviewers complained about the salad. Maybe they've changed it since then. We enjoyed the salad immensely. So fresh! The garlic knots were great, served with dipping oil. I ordered the pasta carbonara and my husband ordered the pasta combo. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. Be aware though... things seemed a bit disorderly, like the owner/manager are new to the restaurant business. Also, it's weird that they were playing 50's music. Good local Italian restaurant. We don't want fancy dishes, but love the basic Italian dishes. I love the manicotti and hubby likes spaghetti and meatballs. This was our first time to dine here! Our waiter was great... he was Knowledgeable of the menu and was fairly attentive with as many people he was helping! My first concern was there was social distancing... every table was full and they were less then 3 feet apart. We had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our food! We were at the point if walking out. The food was good.., but not worth waiting that long for! Also they gave us our bill just with a total on it. No break down if the charges. We do not know how much our wine or beer cost. Great new Italian restaurant on Common St. Complimentary bread and olive oil to start, followed by tortellini michelangelo for me and a sausage pasta for my husband. Food was delicious and portion size was plentiful. Service was phenomenal and the kitchen was speedy despite being fairly busy on one of their first couple days post-opening. If you're open til 10 then don't start closing the front of the house down at 9 all around your customers while they are eating. Shutting down the restrooms to clean them while you have guest makes an uncomfortable dining experience for your guest! We needed to use the restrooms while there and couldn't cause a man was in there cleaning them and proceeded to tell us sorry that the seats were covered in cleaner. Waitress was rushing us. Other server stacking chairs on tables. Sweeping and mopping all around us. Another server that was cleaning came to our table and asked to take the butter and other condiments off our table while we were eating. Everyone rolling silverware right when you walk in the door. It was obvious the servers were talking about who was gonna have to wait on us. We almost left when we walked in. We should have! Spent $130 on a meal we didn't enjoy at all! We really wanted to like this place- heard many good things about it. Sadly we were left less than impressed Starting with the positives- the food is pretty good! The garlic knots that come out at the beginning of the meal are served warm and are very delicious. The calamari is excellently seasoned, and my husbands pizza was very tasty. The mussels had good flavor but were overcooked and tough. My shrimp Florentine was fine- nothing special and I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again but it was perfectly acceptable. The tortellini soup is absolutely delicious though Now for the negatives- service was extremely slow. We had to inquire if we even had a server at the beginning after waiting over 7 minutes to be acknowledged, much less have a drink order taken. There were a total of 8 tables sat at this time and 4 servers. When we did meet our server, we ordered our drinks and appetizers. Once drinks were delivered we ordered our meal. My salad was served a solid 10 minutes before the appetizer and then there was a 20 minute wait between the appetizer and dinner. Would have been more enjoyable to have the salad served between the appetizer and the entree as it normally is. With every request made (boxes, dessert menu, dessert to go, the check) there was an uncommonly long wait. It started to become a bit of a joke amongst my family. The worst part of service happened when the check came, it seemed a bit higher than expected. Nothing crazy, but I decided to just double check it since it was handwritten... sure enough when the itemized list was totaled it came to $92.xx but the ticket reflected $108.xx due... weird. I was confused since I know the tax rate is not over 10%. I asked the server what the tax rate he used was and he looked at me like I was speaking gibberish. He quickly handed the ticket over to the owner/manager(?? Unsure- someone in charge) the owner quickly noticed two of the items were not listed with the correct price- they should have been higher. Even with the correct, higher charges, my total was still under $105.xx. I was gobsmacked that the server could be so far off- and the owner or manager wasn't surprised, apologetic, or embarrassed. If it was my place I would have been all 3. They were prepared to charge me more than the menu price for my meal and didn't so much as apologize when I pointed it out to them. Maybe time to invest in a POS system so these types of clerical errors don't happen and you don't steal from your customers by accident. With all of this said, the food was good. Some items were even excellent. And we will likely give them another try for only this reason. I will certainly hope for better service and to not have to double check the ticket for accuracy. read more

Saw reviews for this restaurant while searching someplace close to eat by my doctors office. Was not disappointed!! It was early afternoon so the place was pretty quiet. I was warmly greeted and welcomed in to look over menu to place my order to-go. The inside is nice, warm and clean. The staff was very helpful and I enjoyed conversation while I waited for my order. It was very nice to talk with a fellow New Yorker!! Then, the food!! I ordered mussels, chicken piccata, the Italian combo and dessert of tiramisu and of course cannolis.
