I stumbled upon this place after an appointment in the city, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I was seated right away. I ordered the beef pho with a lemonade, and both were delicious. The pho was especially flavorful and tasted very fresh. I visited in the afternoon, and the restaurant wasn't too busy. I would definitely come back!
Best bowl of pho ive had in a while (maybe ever?!) I got the nom nam pho and opted to sub the meatballs with tendon and tripe which they did with no charge. scooping out the bone marrow is always fun and it added so much richness to the broth. and i knew the broth was no joke when my leftovers were congealed the next day (as all good bone broth should). the amount of meat to noodle ratio is also good. Would definitely come back. Service was pretty fast and laid-back
On E 34th St, bet. 2nd and 3rd Ave. It's a small, casual place, with small tables close to each other, and great ambiance - bright, shutters for decor, colorfully painted ceiling. Welcoming and cheery staff. Went there for the Nom Nam Pho with bone marrow and long-simmered broth. Marrow was for my husband - piece was kind of small. The rest was delicious. With sirloin and meatballs too. Will surely return for more pho. Their bahn mi with grilled pork was flavorful, crisp fresh veggie toppings. And the Bahn flan is a new favorite. Not too sweet, looked simple but loved the vietnamese coffee flavor and toasted coconut flakes.
Stopped by Nom Nam as a family after a long day doing the Statue of Liberty tour, and it was a much-needed sit-down meal. We ordered a mix of things and overall the food was good. The viet bao stood out--really flavorful and probably the best thing we had. The pho was okay, but coming from LA, it's hard not to compare, and Little Saigon still does it better. My daughter got the famous wings and those were solid. The kids especially liked the prawn chips that came with them--ended up finishing those pretty quickly. Good spot to recharge after a long day out, especially if you're with family and want something satisfying without overthinking it.
Didn't expect to find affordable Vietnamese food in Murray hill so this was a pleasant spot to come upon! It is near the movie theater so a great place to grab a bite either before or after the movies. I got the pho and it was good. Very clear broth. I was able to try the chicken bahn me as well and it was solid too. Service was quick and the ambience was casual. I would come back if I was ever in the area and wanted a simple viet spot.
Get the banh mi (I preferred the Hanoi style personally!) with a side of beef soup - thank me later. They have specialty phos but the banh mi + soup combo was great for the cold weather. Cozy seating and great service, our food came out almost immediately after we ordered.
I have been to this quaint and pretty popular Vietnamese restaurant twice over the multiple years it's been open, with a long time separating the two visits. The service was very friendly both times, and the place got quite crowded the second time I was there. The first time I had the Hanoi Style Bánh Mì for $14 or so, which consisted of ham & pate, pork floss, jalapeno, and Maggi sauce. The bread was decent, with some crunch, but not too much, and there was a good amount of ingredients, whether it was the various pork products or the vegetables. It was reasonably priced, at least for Murray Hill, and decently flavored, but I wouldn't go out of my way for said sandwich. I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee to go, which was standard and worked well enough to keep me alert in the afternoon, and was lightly sweetened with condensed milk as requested. The second time, I had something I preferred much more, their pho. I went with the O.G. Pho for $14.50 with angus sirloin and brisket, and added tendon and tripe for an extra $4, and essentially turned it into a pho dac biet/phở dặc biệt. The broth was better flavored than some of the other Vietnamese spots in the area, and there was plenty of noodles. The meat was nice and tender, though there wasn't much of either the tenderloin or the brisket. The tendon and tripe on the side added some nice textures. It was an above-average bowl of pho at a typical Murray Hill price. If you're in the neighborhood, I would recommend it if you're in the mood for Vietnamese.
Service was great. Not a lot of seating but there was pretty much no wait for a Friday dinner. Food was amazing. I would definitely recommend the pho and the coffee!
I came here for dinner and very satisfied! The size of the Pho is insane! Perfect flavor, more on the lighter side of pho. Delicate. The dumplings were perfect as well. I tried the cocktail (forgot the name) but it was delicious and unique! The staff were all super kind and helpful. I took my time eating, and I didn't feel pressured at all to hurry up. I enjoyed the vibe of this restaurant as well. It felt very comfortable and place you'd like to go to with your friends. Will definitely come back here!
After a movie, we stopped for dinner. It was a hot summer night and conveniently located in Kips Bay. It was near closing time. A small retail space with people waiting for take out. A good sign that locals order from here. Nicely lit, air conditioned and clean. We were seated shortly as some guests were leaving. My pork chop was huge for what I would typically get in a Vietnamese restaurant. Nice quality piece of meat, lean off the bone. Nicely seasoned. The steamed egg was good. Everything was better than other places we had been to, serving Vietnamese. My wife was in full agreement. A very nice experience. We will be back.

Long night of drinking and decided I needed some early morning pho which back in cali is my go to! Broth was amazing, flavors didn't disappoint from the sauces with the beef dumplings (on sale for two for one) same for the egg rolls and crispy egg rolls were amazing. Not a fan of young coconut with pulp listed because I always figure it's a real coconut and not juice but my friends drank it up. The unsweetened green tea was exactly what it was supposed to be. Can't complain when you get what you ask for. The main difference is that when ordering the raw meat, back home it comes in a bag to differentiate and not contaminate the rest of the food incase delivery takes longer than expected which was weird. I also ordered an extra small broth to quick cook it on the side. I don't know if that's an NY thing or just this place thing. Overall, not bad. Raw meat with the other cooked food for delivery was off to me.
Decided to try a new pho spot while in the city. They did not disappoint! When we walked in, it was empty. As soon as 12 hit, it was full! (We kind of have that affect on places we go ) They were welcoming and handled the rush well. Decor was so cute and simple at the same time. It's pretty tight in here, a lot of people came in by themselves to that took up some two seaters, they even pulled out a folding table. We ordered some crunchy veggie spring rolls since we gave up pork for lent. Although they are cooked in a different wrap than the classic Vietnamese spring rolls, we really enjoyed them and were very happy this was an option. We both ordered our own bowl of pho. I had the o.g. Pho which had steak and brisket. He got the steak pho with a side of baby bok choy. The broth was delicious and so flavorful, you could taste the anise and other seasonings in it. For drinks, we got homemade sodas, a lychee soda and the limeade one. Both very good. If we're ever in the area, we'll be back. So happy to have found another pho spot in nyc! read more

Dinner on a Wednesday evening with a few friends--they don't take reservations but there wasn't a wait around 6:30-7pm. They have happy hour drink specials until 7pm which was a good way to kick off the evening. Alcoholic drinks for HH $6-10 were good (according to my friends) as was the young coconut juice $4, which was slightly sweet and came with bits of coconut meat. For starters the spring rolls $8.50 and wings $10.00 were tasty. The spring rolls had a crispy fried exterior and savory filling, and paired well with the picked carrot/daikon mix that came with them. The deep fried wings were tender and came glazed with a yummy sweet and savory sauce. For mains we got the chicken pho $14.50, Nom Nam Nom pho $18, O.G. pho $14.50, banhmi $11 with a side of fries $3, and an order of Brussels sprouts $8.75. We all enjoyed our food, the pho broth is simmered for 25 hours according to their menu. The pork in the banhmi was-well marinated and the baguette crispy and fresh, decent fries too. I loved the Brussels sprouts, they're glazed in a garlic sweet chili sauce and amount in the bowl was good to share. We were too full for order dessert tho maybe next time. I loved that they had a "zero proof bar" menu--I realized afterwards I'd totally missed these on the menu though they look delicious so I'll be back to try them. read more

Had an amazing lunch here (did not make a reservation)! Can't wait to make this a regular spot I visit. The pho was absolutely delicious and the noodles tasted so good (noodles were a good sized portion too). The inside is cutely decorated with a decent number of tables. I also liked the design of the menu. I ordered the Steak Pho and tried a bite of the Obama Bun Cha. Both were great although I didn't love the pork patty in the Obama Bun Cha since it tasted a bit dry. Would def come back!!! read more

Vietnamese cuisine introduced to my palate by my late cousin. An ode to her. I was greeted with a smile and seated with a bottle of water. I asked for lemon and was presented with lime wedge. A party seated prior to my arrival order was delivered and the aroma was delightful. I had to ask the several what it was. Pho with Brussel sprouts. I had two bao bums, one pork belly and the other fried chicken. My palate was entertained, I would take an order to go. I had a lychee not martini. Save room for the pork Bahn mi with French fries. I asked if they cut the shoestring fries in the kitchen They were hot, crisp and perfect side to the banh mi. The baguette was toasted and warm to the touch. Each bite was a full flavor experience. I finished the first half and considered taking the other half to go. I mustered the strength to almost finish it. I left about a quarter of the half. I was full. read more

This was my second time having this it was very delicious and flavorful i love how balanced the hot honey flavor from the chicken was and the vinaigrette vegetable flavor from the carrots and cucumber. Recently had this place pop up on one of my social media pages and it happened to be near my job so I picked up an order of crispy spring rolls and OG pho to take home. Prices were very good for portions and taste was great. Would like to come back and try some more. read more
Really good and tasty Vietnamese food with amazing friendly service. Came here with a stroller and the lady helped with opening / closing doors (admittedly the door was heavy too so I definitely needed and appreciated the help). Ordered the chicken bun salad and chicken pho for my son. Both were delicious! I wished I came here with more people so I could have ordered more and shared. The restaurant is long and narrow with nice decor. Great for catching up with friends or family. read more

Neat viet restaurant located in Murray hill. Good ambiance, pretty small though- better suited for small groups. Tried the og pho - was just ok. Angus sirloin rare steak was quite tender - brisket was a tad dry and too tough for my liking. Broth definitely on the sweeter side. Hits the craving if you're in the area. read more

Nom Nam was really good. I loved that the pho had kale in it. I'll be sure to ask for more noodles on the side next time. The bowl was really cute as well. It was a nice touch. They only serve one size because the server never asked what size we wanted. Would certainly visit here again. read more
Vegan pho is really good service was great restaurant is cute no frills. overall I had just like a really good easy experience there was no wait for my table of two and the wair staff was super attentive everything was really quick honestly no complaints from me here at all! lots of people were ordering to go orders so it might be more of it to go place. read more
4 wings $10 Banh mi was good Viet buns, Burger King flavor profiles, pork belly was garbage. Chicken was good but tasted like BK. Eh I dnno If I write a review it keeps sounding super negative. They serve variety of appetizers, banh mi, rice dishes , pho and more. We love the spring roll and the summer roll. The summer roll is so good especially when you dip them in that amazing peanut sauce. The sugar cane shrimp is a unique twist with shrimp paste wrapped around actual sugar cane. It's a flavor explosion you won't want to miss. The Nom Nam pho is an absolute must-try, the broth is insanely flavorful and generously loaded with a perfect amount of meat. It's the perfect remedy to warm up on a chilly day. NomNam is a cozy spot to unwind and enjoy some fantastic Vietnamese dishes , plus the service is super friendly. Highly recommended. Whew. This little nook did not disappoint! Yelp came through and offered this place as a suggestion when my girls and I couldn't find where we originally intended to go. We decided on pho and banh mi. This place has both. Small space. Clean. Organized. Pretty area in a simple way. The waitress was friendly, smiled a lot. We ordered 2 beef bone marrow pho, fried maple chilli chicken banh mi, wings and beef dumplings. 2 salted Vietnamese coffees as well. My Mom, Myself and My daughter are kinda nice snobs. We judge everything we eat like professionals because we've been around to know what it should be, but nice because we are polite and keep it among us. We are hard to please collectively and individually and I blame my momma for giving me an eclectic palate. My baby girl ordered the banh mi and y'all it's been 2-3 weeks-ish and she keeps asking me when are we going back lol. She said it was salty, crispy, hot and sweet (her favorite notes) and she loved that their banh mi veggies weren't deeply pickled and more fresh. She loved the French bread it came on. She also really loved the Mommas beef dumplings with lemon grass oil. I tasted one and it was different in an excellent way. My mom and I loved our wings. Crispy, nutty, savory. Highly recommend. We loved our pho broth and agreed it was authentic and absolutely did not need the poison, sriracha, chilli oil add ons. It was able to stand on its own. We added some anyway because-habits. Now, these salted coffees. Whew! Vietnamese coffee is not for the weak! That salted cream paired with a strong coffee tasted very similar to a salted dark chocolate. I was enamored with the taste and velvety feel of it. Nom nam won us over. The prices were not outrageous as other places. Decently priced overall. Service was excellent. I was really craving banh mi and did not want to make the trek all the way down to chinatown. I got the ham and pate banh mi for $11. I wouldn't say it is a traditional banh mi but it did satisfy my craving. I got it for take out so the bread got a little soggy as they package it in a box. I wish the bread was crispy. TLDR; best pho I've had in manhattan! Service (5/5): There was only one staff member working the whole restaurant. There were only about 4 tables during peak dinner hours on a Monday evening. We were attended to quickly and often! The server was friendly and helpful throughout. Ambiance (5/5): The establishment is small and bright! I loved the décor and background music which made the place welcoming and nice place to dine. It is quiet. Nom Nam Pho (5/5): I highly recommend this pho dish as the bone marrow gave the dish an extra level of umami from the fat. The bone was half-sized but still very juicy and tender. I didn't care much for the tendon meatballs but the angus sirloin was thinly sliced and delicious. The broth was a heavy beef flavor with depth to its base flavor. Steak Pho (4/5): While broth was still flavorful, it didn't have as much depth. I didn't get to try to meat slices, but my bf said they were good! Tasty Lychee juice drink as well! I haven't gotten pho in a while, so I decided to go during lunchtime. It is a bit of a walk from where I work, which is near Grand Central Station, but I trekked it out. The restaurant is average size. They have both bar and indoor seating. I perused the menu and decided to get the OG pho with the tripe and tendons as a topping for an extra $4. I was curious about the other pho soups, so perhaps I will go back to try them out. read more
Nom Nam has quickly become my go to spot when I need a bite in the area! So far I've only tried the Pho -- the Nom Nam pho and the O.G. Between the two, I'd definitely recommend the O.G; the Nom Nam pho is a little more expensive but I felt like there was actually a lot more protein in the O.G! I also really loved the brisket (just undercooked enough, so so good) in the O.G, while the meatballs in the Nom Nam were just okay. Didn't think the bone marrow in the Nom Nam added much as well. The thai tea was pretty good -- would love to try their homemade sodas next time! I wouldn't say the pho here is the best pho I've ever tried (Pho 87 in Los Angeles, please go if you are in the area) but it's one of the best I've had here in New York! read more
Come here for your pho fix especially on a rainy day!! This is a homey hole in the wall spot that transports me back to Asia. There is colorful art on the ceiling of the restaurant which is cute and vibrant. The waitresses and hostess are warm and welcoming. They were super accommodating with our drink alterations and food preferences. We ordered bahn mi and vegan pho, which both came out warm with fresh ingredients. The portion of pho was bountiful with savory vegan broth (usually not a thing), and the bahn mi is a clear winner on their menu..bringing me back to memories of my favorite bahn mi spot. They don't have a huge restaurant space but there was ample seating for everyone who came with no wait. I saw that many people came here to eat alone too. Definitely coming back :) read more
Cute cozy vietnamese restaurant in Murray Hill area. We got murray hill pho ($21) and nom nam pho ($18). I did not try the Murray Hill pho but it looked and smelled great. Each bowl came with a side of the usual veggies. The broth was delicious and flavorful. It's said on the menu the broth is simmered for 20+ hours. The bone marrow is a great addition and was buttery and tasty. Their lychee soda was great and a perfect accompaniment to the savory hot broth. Service was quick and very friendly. They stopped by to ask how everything was and gave free candy at the end. I did not try but I liked how they had alcohol free cocktails on the menu. read more

For such a robust food city, NYC doesn't really have a lot of good pho places, but I think Nom Nam is one of the better Vietnamese places I had in the city. They are still in their soft opening stages, but I thought the service was impeccable. We arrived 10 minutes before they opened, but they were nice enough to let us inside. Interior is very bright and modern for a pho restaurant. They had red lanterns hanging from the ceiling (not sure if its a permanent decor piece or if it was just for LNY), which added a nice pop of color. The food menu is pretty basic - not a lot of options, but I was really here to try the pho. Portion sizes are pretty generous - if you order the O.G. Pho, you get a ton of meat. Broth is very light and clean - there's no greasy film that you can get at other pho places, which is a huge plus. There's only one option for noodles (thin rice sticks), but I overhead that they might add other options in the future. I also tried the Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, but had the perfect amount of caffeine to kickstart the day. Checkout process was very seamless - you can pay via your smartphone which is really handy. I'll be back to try the banh mi and the banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe) in the future!! read more
The broth was way better than I expected. And the meat and meatballs were not too fatty. The place is small so i can see it getting filled fast but the service is quick so even if it's full I don't see it being too long of a wait. A good place to come if you're craving pho read more

This is a super cute Vietnamese restaurant in Gramercy! I think the best part of the meal were the brussel sprouts! They were super flavorful. The pho was decent but nothing special, but the shrimp chips were a fun addition. I wouldn't recommend the spicy paste to go with the pho either - it wasn't really necessary. The waitress was super attentive and our food came out quickly! read more
Great local spot with Vietnamese classics. I've been here numerous times, and while it's not the best Vietnamese food I've ever tried, it's quick, affordable and satisfies my pho cravings. I typically get the pho, which is reasonably priced (~14) and filling. The Murray Hill Pho is a treat, and I'm a fan of the spicy and lemongrass sate that they make in house. Can't speak to the banh mi, but also love the pork rice dish as well! Despite the small seating, I'm always able to get a table pretty quickly. The place is clean and pleasant, with quick service. read more

The Nom Nam Pho was very good - tender meat, flavorful broth, and magnificent bone marrow. The pork belly Bao took me by surprise as I was expecting the meat to be leaner and more braised. It did taste better than it looked. read more
I work and live close to here and have now had the opportunity to try the food here multiple times. Overall, I think the food here is legit. They serve high quality and authentic Vietnamese food. The menu is short but they have all of the popular staples. Whether you want a delicious banh mi to-go or a comforting warm bowl of pho to dine in, all of the food I have tried hits the spot. The servers are quick, efficient, and friendly. It's a small restaurant but the decor is clean and simple --- in a good way. Despite the small size, they are able to fit enough tables so that I have never had to wait. Overall, I am happy to see more Vietnamese food in Murray Hill. read more
