My wife and I favorite spot in the energy corridor, this place is a must try restaurant. Their spring rolls and dumplings are a must try. Their Vietnamese iced coffee and iced tea are authentic and not to sweet with a perfect coffee/tea flavor. Their House Pad Thai is one of the best I've ever had, spicy food lovers may need to get sriracha or hot oil as the Pad Thai is more on the sweet side packed with flavor and all different types of meats. They also serve Pho where you can pick your type of meat & they also serve banh mi. Went here for the first time last week & fell in love. First off, the owner was so nice. He was funny and made jokes with me about why I have never stopped by before. I ended up ordering Bonfire wings & the dragon fried rice. The Bonfire was perfectly spicy, and I love spicy! It had the perfect crunch, but not the overly breaded feel. Which is a A+ in my book. Food portion was laughable. I ordered the Nom Nom special, half banh mi and half pho. There were literally 5 pieces of meat in the pho that were 1" in size or smaller. I walked back up to the counter and showed the clerk and she said it came with 6 pieces of meat and grabbed a plastic fork from I don't know where and dug through my bowl to look for 6 pieces. How dare she! She counted 5 and they weren't even pieces I swear! Man I should have taken a pic. First of all, for that type of dish how do you know the exact amount of meat pieces are in the bowl?? It's not a 6 piece chicken nugget or 5 piece wings and fries, it's a Pho bowl! I just walked off because I was so outdone I couldn't even believe what just happened. The more I sat the more disgusted I got. I walked back up to the front and asked the lady where did she get that fork from that she dug thru my bowl with. I frequent this spot twice a month. My favorites are the tofu fried rice and the shrimp lo mein. The prices are very reasonable. The staff are super friendly. There is an area of dine in but most people seem to call in and take out food. The food is always fresh and the temperature is perfect. Visited this place with my coworkers a few weeks back and I was excited to bring my husband because the food and service was amazing! Unfortunately it was not the same on this visit. The older lady greeted us and took our orders with pleasure and at that moment I left a generous tip. I assumed she had to go on lunch or leave for the day and a younger lady took over who was very rude and unpleasant. I went to the counter to ask for a to go cup and she angrily said for water! I said no ma'am I ordered a regular drink and she firmly placed the cup on the counter and proceeded to walk away. I said I'm sorry I also wanted to order a dessert and very bothersome she turned back around to take my order, I paid and held out my hand for my receipt which she looked at and still placed it on the counter. She asked if it was here or to go and I said we'll take it on our way. So I sat back down and waited for our dessert as it was obvious we were finished eating. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I went back to questioned about my dessert, so she grabs a bag that's been sitting there and hands it to me. It had been sitting there waiting the whole time and she said not one word! I was beyond upset as I had been bragging on this place to my husband. The menu is quite small, but that's often a helpful thing in some of these situations. We ordered chicken spring rolls and we each had their house lo mein. Spring rolls were delicious, absolutely gorgeous and I could have sipped that warm peanut sauce with a straw! Lo mein was less impressive, not much chicken and beef, a heaving pile of noodles and 3 shrimp, with was great for my baby who loves it (and I hate shrimp). om Nom is what I call a non-Asian friendly pho restaurant. Yes, they do have other food but if they have a big bowl of pho challenge, it does make it a specialized in pho restaurant. Now I have been going to this place because the portion of the large bowl of pho dac biet (special with all type of meats) outstretch the price it cost. As you come into the restaurant, you are welcome with a high ceiling, a projector normally broadcasting a sports channel to the left wall, and that left wall is painted with simplistic bamboo trees. You line up on the right side of the restaurant and in the line, you can see the winners of the pho challenge and enticing you to take this challenge instead of ordering a normal size meal. Now there are some non-Vietnamese workers here at the cash register so sometimes it's best to order based on their English name. After you ordered your food, you are given a number to put on the table and you can sit anywhere you like. All of the utensils., sauces, fountain drinks, etc. are at the back of the restaurant and you would need to get it yourself. The service for your food to come out is pretty fast both in the lunch rush and the weekday dinner time. I haven't had to wait say no more than 5-10 minutes the most for our food to come out. Now let's go back and talk about the portion of the bowl of pho. The bowl itself feels huge and it is. But they also filled it up with good amount of meat, noodle, and the vegetables. Speaking of vegetables, if you don't like the onions, green onions, you can tell them ahead don't put veges and it won't be in your pho. Like any pho restaurant, they will bring you a dish of bean sprouts, cilantro, mint leaves, and a slice of lime. Now the broth is the major key to a good bowl of pho. Nom Noms broth is simply light, which is a good thing. There's barely any excessive layer of "grease" on the top of the broth. The noodle is always soft and tasty and the amount of meats for the dac biet is plentiful. They have other Vietnamese and Vietnamese style food but I have not yet to try those because after all, they are called Nom Noms Noodle for a reason. This place is definitely my place to go for a good bowl of pho instead of driving all the way to Chinatown. Besides, I also get to watch a sports game which I understand instead of watching re-runs of Paris By Night Number 285 or something and still don't understand this pageant show, is it even a pageant show? read more

Some of the decor is quite cute, but I wish they would change up the floors - makes me feel like I'm eating in a warehouse. I was craving pad thai and decided to order that even though my brother couldn't stop raving about the chicken banh mi. The pad thai was pretty good, and the portion size was pretty big. My brother got the half pho/half banh mi special. I took a bite of his banh mi, and it was pretty good. I think the difference between theirs and Don's Cafe is that theirs seem to have a bit more soy sauce. The flavor is different but still good. I was hungry for lo mein yesterday. Discount tire across the way was servicing my truck so I had time to look for a place to eat. Yelp indicated this place as walking distance so I walked over. It's in the same shopping center as Smashburger so I knew where it was. Well, the food was good - flavorful and it sated my lo mein craving. Also ordered a pad thai with chicken in case my wife wanted it for dinner. Overall, it was a good place to go for a quick meal. Food was good enough so I will try to go back there again. The bf and I stopped here on spur of the moment when we were heading home from Half Price Books this past Sunday night (01/17/16) We wanted some good food without going out of the way and I noticed the sign that said Nom Nom Noodles just as we drove past, so we made a u-turn lol When we parked we weren't sure how it was going to be since there weren't that many cars there and it just seemed quiet but the food delivered! When you first walk in, you can see that it's an open layout and you have to go to the front counter to order, get your drinks, and pay and then they bring you your food to your table. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. Since we were eager to try different items, we ended up ordering some egg rolls (3.49) some spring rolls (4.29) I ordered the chicken vermicelli and the bf got the pork vermicelli, both were $7.99. And then lol the bf ordered a grilled pork banh mi. Overall our order was about $33 bucks. The guy at the counter was very nice and patient too, while we were deciding on what to order. And we just ordered a regular fountain drink. You pour your own drink unless you want a bottled drink. When we sat down, lots of people ended up coming in and it seemed that there were a lot of regulars and families. They have a projector on the wall and on this evening they were showing a football game. Our food came pretty quickly, roughly about 7mins after we sat down. Everything tasted great! The person behind the counter is terse, unfriendly and has a chip on his shoulder when you are asked if you want the combo - with egg roll or spring roll and I am not aware of this. He points rudely to the paper menu and tells you arrogantly to read. Its a shame. This is my second time here and I like the food but the customer service is appalling. Moving on. The food I ordered was the vermicelli with chicken. Without a doubt, the food is great. Vietnamese coffee is terrible so avoid all together. Weird aftertaste. Spring rolls are good but maybe not fresh. The rice paper is a bit chewy.
