They used to be awesome.... but now they seems to have changed their hot pot. The pots are smaller and the flavors are different, it's still a herb broth but not as flavorful anymore. The reason why I am revising my review it's because we went on a weekday around 5 pm, the place is half full and wasn't too busy. I ordered the beef hot pot and my husband ordered the spicy beef noodle, my hot pot came about 10 minutes and half way through my meal I asked the waiter to check on my husband's order but we didn't hear back. And 20 minutes goes by, when I was done with my hot pot, my husband's order still have not arrived. We told them just cancel it. They did not apologize or anything. My poor husband left hungry and just sat there and stare at me during the whole dinner while I ate my food. They need to improve customer service skills. read more

Also the hot pot doesn't quite fill you up, it just stops you from feeling hungry, but doesn't quite make you feel full. After we sampled each others dishes, J had then wished he ordered what I got. After tasting his, I knew why. Beef with Broccoli - Beef was tender. Broccoli still had that crunch to it that I love. This is the best hot pot I've had! I normally get the ribeye or lamb combination hot pot. I'm sure the bowls are good for 2 people, but I can eat a whole bowl to myself. The mini hot pots are full of flavor, spices (that I've never seen or heard of) and garlic. I cannot make the broth at home because it probably has at least 50 different spices (which makes it taste so awesome)! The portions of meat are great. I ate here a couple of times when I stayed at the Gold Coast and enjoyed it. They are a busy little restaurant in the casino, but I had good service. I haven't tried the hot pots, but from what I saw they looked amazing! I had a beef and noodle dish and it was good. My only complaint was that the beef was fatty and not that high of quality. My girlfriend and I went to the Noodle Exchange it was one of our favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. We have not eaten there since COVID-19 started. We ate there before COVID-19 at least once a week, sometimes more than once a week. We went there today to eat and was greeted by the rudest hostess I have ever encountered there. My girlfriend tried to order some food to go and the hostess told us they did not serve that type of food anymore and we should go to another place to eat. I have never heard of a hostess encouraging you to go eat somewhere else. I was shocked so we won't be going there anymore, and we will tell our friends not to go there. We are locals that live in Las Vegas and always try to support the small business's in Las Vegas. Wow why would you treat a local like that we are the ones that go there all the time and keep them in business, NEVER AGAIN. read more

Well I've been here a few times and every time it has impressed me, which is hard to do.I went again today and had the teriyaki chicken and it was amazing. It was fresh and the homemade sauce that went with it was the best. it complimented the chicken perfect. the staff when you enter is friendly and professional. they make good suggestion unlike other chines places and know how to treat their customers as well. My first time to sample this food with my brother in law. He had the hot pot seafood and I had the Wonton soup with beef and they were both delicious. The next day we took our family together and have the lunch specials and everybody was delighted. I asked for crispy noodles for my soup but they so stingy to give me. I had a very tiny amount given to me using a tiny sauce dish. Overall the Hong Kong style cuisine is a gastronomic delight whose fresh exotic spices awaken everyone's discriminating palate. The presentation is superb and taste is out of this world. I would recommend that the owner doesn't tinker with the formula that makes this place work in the first place. Congrats! We started eating Noodle Exchange before our Monday night bowling date at Gold Coast. Fast and cheap make the perfect meal before heading to the lanes to throw some strikes (or spares or...heck, I am just happy if I knock something down.) To be honest, I can not give you a true appraisal of the entire menu at the Noodle because in the numerous times we have eaten there, we have only ordered three different things. Yes, we are creatures of habit. We always sit at the bar, and we always order chicken lo mein and the broccoli appetizer. They have a couple of vegetables they offer under the appetizer section, and they are just stir-fried vegetables: simple and tasty. These two dishes always have us giving the chefs a thumbs-up, and it is a meal for two that costs us $13. Crazy cheap!! I realize that lo mein is not the most epic culinary event, but sometimes you just need a good lo mein. When you do, head here! The lo mein is not too greasy, and it is has that perfect seasoned wok flavor. Oh, and as for that third dish we have tried: fried tofu, and it is delicious, crispy and spicy. read more

We went with the squid/shrimp noodles w/ bits of anchovy in it and the shrimp dan dan noodles. Whenever I'm at Gold Coast, my choice is either Ping Pang Pong or Noodle Exchange. Usually during the colder season, I tend to opt for Noodle Exchange for their hot pots. SERVICE Typical service you get at any other Chinese restaurant. Not too friendly, but they are quick to take your order, refill drinks, get you the check or anything else you need. FOOD My usual is their Beef Combination ($14.99). You get a choice of mild or spicy but I can't handle any heat so I always get mild. You get a medium sized pot with a tea bag (?) which contains all kinds of spices in it. I actually ripped it open one time to investigate what was inside, as if I was in a biology lab doing a dissection. This tiny bag had herbs, slices of ginger and other unknown spices that I had no clue of. Needs further investigation. Beef Combination comes with mushrooms, tofu, fish cakes, corn tomato, daikon, taro, noodle and fish balls. Beef is thinly sliced and is very similar to shabu shabu. You also get a choice of lamb or seafood combination hot pot but I have only ordered beef. It's a decent portion and I always enjoy cooking at the table. CONCLUSION Come here for the hot pot! Place is always packed and super loud but I am coming back again on another cold day. read more

Was in town for a week long party and met a fella from London, spent the day walking the strip with him and then on the way back to the Gold Coast, he happen to be at the same party, I asked him out to dinner, and to my surprise he said yes. I had been wanting to try The Noddle Exchange since checking in at the hotel, but it wasn't opened, their popular dish looked to be this hot pot dish where you cook your meat and veggies in a soup broth of sorts at your table, it looked like many where enjoying it. I went with the Mongolian Beef bento box, it came with soup, green beans, and I replaced the rice with noodles. The food was great! I asked for it to be extra spicy and it came out perfectly! Good food, great conversation, fortune cookie was cheesy just the way I like it. Thank goodness the Noodle Exchange is located in the Gold Coast too! We were also in time for their $6.99 lunch special. I wanted to try something different so I chose their Honey Pumpkin Chicken. This dish also had good sized pieces of crispy pumpkin which was surprisingly delicious! If you like Honey Walnut Chicken you will most likely like this too. First thing's first - I always order the same beef noodle and we ALWAYS split the Peking Duck Sampler. Although the gf sometimes changes up her order, I stick with what I've come to love. Why do I love these dishes? Because the soup is not too salty, the meat is delicious and the Peking Duck comes with cucumbers which provides a very different element to the flavor. What really makes this place our tradition is that we stumbled upon this establishment with such low expectations and it has now turned into one of our must-do traditions every time we visit Vegas. I have never had a hot pot but it looked like the way to go, so I ordered the beef one. My bf got some pork concoction that he liked too. The hot pot was so good and a lot of fun! I liked making my food in there. It was a fun experience. It came with a bunch of meat, some mushrooms, a few other veggies, corn on the cob, tofu, noodles, and lettuce. Customer service is horrible. The only time the waiter came by was to bring the food and to bring the check. While we were eating the propane ran out heating the hotpot. So we tried to flag down a waiter without success. They were literally facing us and not one came over to ask us what we needed. It's like we were invisible. We finally flagged down the busser to get the propane changed. Maybe the tip should go to the busser? The waiters just walk around aimlessly. The hostess actually took our order. Majority of the time they walked out of the kitchen with out bringing anything out. Waiters at other restaurants actually work for their tip. These ones just don't care. The hotpot is just mediocre compared to what you can get in L.A. I've seen way better hotpot at an average hotpot restaurant situated in a grocery store in Beijing. read more

I came here to try their hot pot with my friends because I heard it was good here. I ordered the beef combination hot pot for $17.99. It came with a good amount of beef, some cabbage, fish ball, enoki mushroom, tomato, tofu, corn, imitation crab, thin small noodles, and a bunch of lettuce which I didn't eat any of the lettuce because I don't think lettuce is good with hot pot and they just put lettuce in there because it's cheap and fills the plate. I definitely think they should remove the lettuce from the hot pot plate because it doesn't go with hot pot. I got the spicy broth and it was delicious. Broth was good and the level of spice was just right. I also liked the dipping sauce they give you. I dipped everything in the sauce. The hot pot can be shared but I did finish it all by myself. The service was quick and good when we sat down but after we got our food they never came back to check on us and it took them forever to come give us our check. We have eaten here several times and always loved the food. However on our last trip the better 1/2 never got her food - after 90 minutes! While we complained several times (and an Asian gentlemen seated next to us gave the wait staff an earful) they really did not seem to care, and even told us the wait was justified as they only make orders "in batches", thus it was just not "our turn yet". What? Mongolian beef is not made to order? Figuring we just hit them on a very off day we tried again last week. While we were the only ones in line to be seated and there was 1 open table, our presence was not even acknowledged for 10 minutes until the bus person grabbed a few menus and led us to the table. He was nice and brought us water while we waited...and waited...Noticing other patrons with un-taken orders we decided to cut our losses after another 20 minutes and walked out. The wait staff seemed to care less. I think the problem here is they do such a high volume of takeout business (the cooks are always frantically busy) that they feel they don't need to pay much attention to the restaurant side. This restaurant is located in this Asian Casino. My girlfriend highly recommended and took me there for our dinner. Their mini hotpot looked very delicious and had plenty of stuffs on the side to cook, along with their tasty raw meats. My girlfriend and I ordered this mini hotpot of water-boiled spicy fish. Let me tell you this, this pre-made hotpot was probably the best tasting Chinese food I've ever had in Vegas! It wasn't spicy, it was just having the spicy kick to it after eating it! The hotpot also contained plenty of stuffs - tofu, veggies and I especially love their glass noodles which fully soaked in the spicy oil seasoning of the fish soup. It was so bomb, very flavorful and filling! The hotpot was more than enough to share with 2 people, we each ordered one and it was way too much food that we couldn't be able to finish after stuffing our faces with this delicious hotpot! If you were happened to be in Vegas and nearby the casino location, please go check it out and order this water-boiled spicy fish hotpot (not exactly sure the name), but do ask the server they know! We did beef - they slice the meats thin in house. You can order extra items for the pot but the standard fare was tasty and more than enough! It came with soup, egg roll, and fried rice. I found an egg shell in the coating of the fish (yuck!) but wasn't worth making a big deal given the meal was being paid for.
