Zhen, my server, was a delight. Very polite and friendly. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I wanted and was happy with the taste. The gentleman bussing tables and providing drinks was attentive and conscientious about keeping my drink glass full. They sat us in a section where we could sit with our bags which was nice. 4/5 The best thing we had was the jasmine hot tea - note that it's $5 per cup even tho it's a single teapot lol. 2/5 beef chow fun. I didn't have high hopes for this place and it met my expectations. I did take out on a late Friday night because traffic sucked and we were tired. I had credit from my Amex platinum so I decided to do takeout. Customers service: hard to say and a little nonexistent. I had a question about my order but when you call, the call gets dropped immediately. I tried multiple times with the same result. When I went to the front, the staff member was just cold and had a blank expression on her face. Check your orders, always. They forgot to include the rice that's supposed to come with the entree and had to wait again after coming back. Such a waste of my time. Thai chicken curry: pretty good portion. Taste is bland. Maybe they're tailoring the amount of seasoning to what they think their clientele likes. Vegetables texture varied from al dente to mushy. Chili garlic edamame: hard to mess up. It was edamame and flavor was bland-ish. There was a mild spice. Portion was pretty good and the container was full. Edamame was cooked right and not soggy. Shanghai lumpia: no thanks. It had a mushy filling, but this one had some flavor. I should have just walked to the food court. That's what I get for being lazy and wanting to use my 100 dollar credit. Chopstick helpers. I know that sounds dumb but it's kind of funny and ridiculous. We were met by a very energetic host which was positive because we had just trekked to the food court that was closed. It was more of a woohoo they're open AND she seems really happy! Before we were even sat, she asked US if we'd want chopstick helpers for the kids and we said, yes please. We were sat. She again asked if we'd want the helpers and we again said yes. She initiated the darn things, and didn't bring them. We asked her for them twice after that and she said of course. She never gave them to us. Our server Bi was an older lady who was very kind. She helped my husband pick her favorite dish and described why she would recommend the two and how the flavors are quite different. Food came out quick except the shrimp but we had plenty to eat. Edamame was a huge portion! We did a plain pho, the broth was typical and good, the noodles just seemed different to what I'm used to at any other pho place. We finally gave up hope the original lady would ever bring the chopstick helpers for the kids. We asked Bi and she brought them right away. She was sooo nice, helpful and we appreciated her. I don't know that I'd recommend this for the food itself. It was one of the only options available after 9 pm apparently. Ambiance was casual, nothing came off as fancy. Have eaten here a few times and the food and service would have normally rated a 4 star rating. Ate there this past Friday night at 7 pm. The place had basically no customers?? First, on a Friday at 7 pm that says a lot. The service was sparse at best - took a while and servers never came back to check on things. On top of that, all the food was bland - has always had great flavor in the past. Not sure what happened this time but there are a ton of Chinese restaurants in Vegas. This little gem is inside the Mandalay Bay Resort Spa & Casino. I found it very conveniently located near the hotel room lobby if you wanted to grab something hearty without having to walk so far within the large resort. The Wonton soup was delicious- enough to share for a party of two. I also had the Miso soup the next day which was perfectly seasoned- not too salty unlike others. I got the Chicken Drunken Noodles: - Quantity: 5/5 surprisingly a good amount of food for takeout - Price: $26 without tax and tip. For The Strip, the cost was expected - Taste: 2/5 It started out tasting fine but then I needed to hit it with some Sambal Oelek which gave it some kick but again wasn't as satisfying as I'd have hoped by the end of the meal. I know drunken noodles are supposed to have that Smokey-Wok flavor but this dish had more of that and less of the favors from the sauces that go into the dish. - Ambiance: 3.5/5 given it was a company conference week the place was packed and busy. I had the pho and spicy wonton.. I don't think the chef in the back is Asian.. or a chef. Pho bland and didn't wash/drain the noodle properly before putting in the soup. The broth lacked any depth or flavor. No cardamom, star anise, clove, cinnamon.. nothing . Flat. Second worst pho I ever had next to the one that tasted like mop water. I took one sip, one bite, and paid my check and left it. The meat tasted like it was boiled with zero quality. Do not get the pho. Spicy wonton was decent but not worth the price reflected. Go to a different Asian place, don't let my regrets be yours. We stopped here for lunch and it was perfect for us. We got two appetizers and three dishes amongst the four of us. It was the right amount of food. We got the potstickers and veggie roll to start. We ha out potstickers steamed. Both dishes were great. I think each dish came with six pieces each. For main dishes we got the Kung Pao chicken, chicken fried rice, and chicken drunken noodle. We've been coming to Noodle Shop since it first opened, and it's still one of our favorite noodle spots in Vegas! This time, we ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup and Orange Chicken. The soup came with five wontons -- super flavorful, though a bit on the pricey side. But after all, you are at a Vegas hotel. The orange chicken is always a standout: crispy, saucy, and just the right amount of sweet. The rice was cooked perfectly. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive, refilling our water constantly without us even needing to ask. The interior of the restaurant is fairly casual, but nice... We got there and the place was almost empty -- which should've been my first clue. Everything is overpriced, but hey, it's inside a hotel in Vegas, so I figured maybe the food would make up for it. Not bad for being a quick service casino restaurant. You can't go wrong with Wontons and Singapore Noodles. We tried salt and pepper shrimp multiple times and they are consistently too salty. It's so tiring to see people write about how expensive it is and they're not getting enough meat or food. Its vegas. Everywhere is expensive. If you want more authentic food, go to Chinatown. Its a lot cheaper there. I love the noodle shop. Their food is very flavorful. I don't order fake white people chinese food like orange chicken. Try other things and appreciate the diversity of different Asian food they have. I love most of their noodles and their broth is good. They are not a pho shop or a curry shop. Every trip to Vegas I always end up have dinner here. We almost always stay at the Mandalay so it's convenient and I really enjoy their wonton noodle soup. There was plenty of seats at lunchtime so getting a seat wasnt an issue. The menu is concise with enough variety to please most asian dinners but sticks with the common items. I decided to order the chicken fried rice as I thought it would help me feel better from the night before. The chicken fried rice is a huge plate full if excellent chicken fried rice. It was excellent. There was plenty if chicken and vegetables that you would expect in the dish. My service was very fast I don't think I waited for more than 5- 10 minutes for my food and I also had the hot jasmine tea too. Sadly while in Vegas the prices will reflect that ie more expensive but at least it was a good meal and great service. read more

We made reservations and they sat us right at the time we scheduled it for. Menus given promptly. Everything on the menu looked good but I was feeling like eating phó. Ordered pho and Thai iced tea for myself and miso ramen for my friend and kimchi as a side. The food came out pretty quickly. When my phó came out, I was disappointed because...where are my herbs? Where are my bean sprouts? Oh, they were already thrown in the bowl. The cilantro wasn't even cut. They threw the whole stalk in there. Minimal bean sprouts and little to no Thai basil. This was the worst bowl of phó I have EVER had in my life. No flavor, barely any herbs, barely any meat. What the hell was it?! And I paid $24 for this crap! The kimchi was so sour - it wasn't even good. The miso ramen was SO salty. It didn't even taste like miso ramen. This place was terrible. I would stay away!! Go out and find something better!
