I'm really a huge fan of Taiwanese noodles, and tho I liked the soup, I think the portionnm was wayyyy too big for one person (how funny somebody complaining about too much). But the flavor was ok, the service was really great for a Saturday afternoon and the prices were reasonable. I had to fight a fly that wouldnt stop flying aroundy table the whole time I was there, but other than that, I enjoyed my meal. The place itself is pretty accesible and the table setting is not too crowded. I would go back but only if somebody helps me share a soup plate. Def too big for one person. read more

Dig the fresh noodle into the sauce ~ the taste OMG~ is the best thing of my day! Qing hai noodle sauce is good but the rice noodle is too thick. Fried shrimp dumplings is juicy but I wish there is a big shrimp inside instead of two small size. Water melon juice is very fresh. Prefer no ice though so it could be sweeter. Haven't visited this place a while but since we were in the area we decided to give it another try. It's fun seeing the chefs create the noodles. Service was generally quick and staff was friendly. We ordered the Dandan noodles, savory braised chicken, special beef noodle, and a create you own noodle. I highly recommend the braised chicken. The chicken was tender and very flavorful. I would suggest the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup over their Signature Beef Noodle Soup as it is more reminiscent of what I had growing up. My girlfriend and I decided to order lunch from here today around 1:15: ordered 1 beef roll pancake, 2 orders of juicy pork buns, fried calamari and cucumber salad. We've been here many times and have had good experiences but today's experience fell short. When I placed my order I was told the order would be ready in 15-20 minutes and I arrived at the store 15 minutes later. Our food was ready and I was about to pay when the server read back the receipt and I saw that there was only 1 order of juicy pork buns. I let the server know, they apologized and said they would add on another order. I wait for our food and drive home which takes about 15 minutes. Excited for our food we start digging in. The fried calamari wasn't even slightly crunchy, probably got soggy because we had to wait longer for our order to be corrected. Cucumber salad was great per usual. Beef roll pancake tasted great but wasn't crispy at all. Lastly the juicy pork buns. They were cold and there was a hair on one of the buns..... My boyfriend and I were absolutely starving when we went and we ordered way more than we could finish. Our server was so beyond helpful and patient when explaining the different kind of noodles offered. Dear Noodle St, Food quality remains a 4 out of 5 post pandemic. However the price points is too high, for example one of my favorites is the beef pancake roll which used to be 7 bucks. I was okay paying 10 bucks, but upon my last return its now 13 bucks. The wait is too long for food to served cold and pay more for cold food. They need to figure out a better way to handle their take out orders and payment areas. I recommend you check your order before you leave. This place has very limited seating with small wooden chairs that have no backing. I will be going to the new Irvine location which has better parking and seating for the same prices. read more

I come for the beef noodle soup and it's great and flavorful. You get many options to choose from, different noodles depending on the chewiness. I usually do knife cut which is their chewiness. When we got our noodles, the bowl itself was hot, but the broth was luke warm. Spoke to the manager and she had them warm it up perfectly, so thank you for that! The noodles did get a bit soggy but it was worth the ask/wait to reheat the bowls, and still very tasty. It took a while for the dumplings to come out. We didn't get them until asking 3x different waiters for it after finishing half of our bowls. They also don't offer you condiments for your dumplings unless you ask so don't forget to ask for your soysauce/black chinese vinegar/extra chili oil etc. Overall, pretty tasty, decent pricing. This place is pretty good :)! I enjoy getting their spicy beef noodle with knife cut noodles! Full of flavor! Beef is juicy and has some fat in it. Noodles are super chewy (which is what I like!) It's located around a plaza so there's plenty of space and you can go grab 7 leaves boba right after haha I love eating spicy food, so the spice level on this is quite mild for my taste :)! 3.5 Stars. I was in the mood for some noodles so decided to check out Noodle St because who could say no to some fresh hand cut noodles? Unfortunately, the noodles were just okay - decent dishes but nothing memorable. We came in around 5:00pm on a Saturday to dine-in and the restaurant was about a quarter filled. By the time we left around 6:00pm however, seating was at full capacity and there was a small wait outside, albeit a couple of the people waiting looked to be for takeout orders. The hubby and I ordered the Crispy Tofu ($6.80) as an appetizer to share along with the Signature Beef Noodle Soup ($11.80) and the Korean Jajang Noodles ($10.80) as our mains. You can choose how chewy you want your noodles from the standard cut being that of like spaghetti noodles to the knife cut being the chewiest and thickest noodles. We opted the "standard cut" and "small flat cut" for our noodles. The noodles weren't as chewy as I would have liked so maybe I should have opted for the knife cut instead. Portions were reasonable for the price, but the food was just average and not as flavorful as I had imagined - not the best I've ever had, but definitely not the worst either. Service was also average. The food came out relatively quickly, within 10-15 minutes of us placing our order, but don't expect the waiters to check in on you or refill your water unless prompted to. We have come here twice. Both times were wonderful. The service is fast and they are very nice. The seating is fine. The noise level is very pleasant. The food is amazing. I recommend getting the cucumber salad to freshen up your palate in between the savory flavors of the main dishes. My favorite is the juicy pork buns. They remind me of xiao long bao at Paradise Dynasty in South Coast Plaza. I love the soup inside. I use a soup spoon and poke a hole in the side, pour it into the spoon, slurp, then I add vinegar and ginger and repeat!! The stir fry we got with the triangle noodles which I believe are the happiest medium. I was actually craving KBBQ before we settled on coming here so I actually ordered the KBBQ with rice, and he got the signature beef noodle soup with the standard noodle. Also got the beef roll pancake cuz I'm sucker for a good beef roll! The KBBQ meat itself had a good texture, well seasoned, and very flavorful. But the rice was sitting in a pool of the marinade sauce and it was just wayyy too much for me. Made the whole thing super salty. I only ate about a third of it and tried to eat the rice that wasn't tainted with sauce before deciding to pack it up and eat it with my own rice at home. Also they use short grain rice.. I think I would have preferred this dish with jasmine rice. He loved the soup. The broth itself was very strong in beef flavor, almost like pho broth. The beef was nicely sliced, so it gave it a nice soft, tender texture. The beef roll wasn't bad. The beef was a little sparse, but very well-flavored. I would have given the end pieces a 4/5.. but the middle pieces 3/5 cuz there was just way too much green onions. It was too overpowering. Definitely homemade and delicious. I believe all of their noodles are homemade, and you get to order the type of noodles you want with your dish. I'm definitely trying the knife cut one next time. The minced pork also was fairly authentic and had the right amount of spices to pleasantly punch you in the face. The spinach added a nice healthy kick, but I think it lacked one other ingredient to really take it to the next level. Maybe replace the spinach with bak choy? Service: 4/5. The flat noodles were still good though but we'd go with the knife cut noodles only next time. Many other soups lack saltiness with no rich flavor but this had it all. They are also not stingy with their meat. The food is so so soooo good!! This is a cimpilation of 2 different times I went with my partner and we both enjoyed it soooo much and have been dreaming about it ever since. The appetizer beef roll pancake is photographed a lot because it was just so surreal and divine~ It is definitely a must get!!! I also really enjoy that you can choose which types of noodles you want! My partner enjoyed knife cut a lOT since he likes that chewy texture. I am still undecided which one I like best!
