    Noodles with Minced Beef Sauce
    Christina N.

The highlights here are the super accommodating staff and portion sizes. This was a convenient stop for us in the area for dinner and it wasn't busy, so there was no wait. There's a variety of seating (booths, tables, and a bar-ish style in the middle), which makes it good for any group size. However, I found the food to be lacking. I ordered the noodles with minced beef sauce and thought it was just okay. While the portions are generous, the dish was had too much oil and salt, making it difficult to finish.

Pretty good noodles. I got their beef rib noodles. I opted for the knife cut noodles. We also got the beef pancake. But we didn't realize the portions for so huge we had to take half of the beef pancakes home! I suggest only ordering the beef pancake appetizer to share between 2 people. Don't be like me and order 2 orders of that for 2 people. Decent portions. Very filling

This location of Noodle St is located in a shopping plaza surrounding by other establishments, plenty of parking out front. The restaurant itself is open, has relaxed vibe, and the staff was attentive. They also offered us bibs to protect our clothes which I loved! We ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (8/10) and the cucumber salad (6/10). I wish the soup itself was a little bit warmer, but the flavor was delicious. The cucumber salad was okay, but I've definitely had better at other establishments.

Service is great and the inside is very spacious. One thing I absolutely loved is the lighting they have above each table. So good for the perfect shot. We ordered the beef pancake, lamb skewers, fries, and spicy beef noodle soups with thick cut noodles. The beef pancakes were super yummy and flavorful. The lamb skewers had too much cumin for my taste, but the meat itself was good. The fries were nothing to brag about, and I probably wouldn't order them again. The soup itself was delicious and the broth was great. I'm not a fan of beef, but this one was super tender and easy to chew. The noodles were good, but they do become harder to eat as they get cold. They also don't taste the same once reheated! The serving size is huge and a bowl can easily be shared by two people.

One of my fav Chinese restaurants in Orange County!! Been coming here for years. This place isn't too busy and I believe it's under-rated Must try: - Qinghai Clear Cold noodle (they run out by dinner sometimes) - Beef Noodle Soup with knife cut noodles - Beef Roll pancake We've came here over 10 times and these are our favorite things to order on repeat!

Noodle St is a spot serving up some authentic and delicious Chinese dishes. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a nice modern interior with a solid amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 7pm and were seated right away. For their menu, they have a good selection to choose from. Wifey and I opted to get the Beef Roll, Savory Braised Chicken Noodles, and the Signature Beef Noodle Soup. Overall, everything that we had was delicious and filling with a generous portion size. All of the staff here are very welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be back for another satisfying meal next time we are nearby the area!

High quality noodles, would recommend everything we ordered! No wait time for dinner and the food was served quickly. You can watch the chefs slicing the noodles fresh at the open kitchen. We ordered: - Signature beef noodle soup: Choice of spicy or non-spicy, we got non-spicy. Love the noodle texture a lot. Mild soup but not bland! - Lamb skewers: way better than some other spots like Northern cafe. A bit pricey so maybe I'll pass on this next time. Good to try though! - Beef rolls: lots of flavor, loved this a lot. Really like how the vegetables are cold inside, felt very fresh. - Minced beef noodles: my personal favorite!! Sauce is more complex than it looks. I was scraping down every last spoonful of it lol. Will be back!

Hands down the best place for hand-pulled noodles--and they're even open on Christmas! Every dish was exceptionally flavorful. The hand-pulled noodles were perfectly chewy with a generous portion that's great for sharing. Don't skip the cucumber- it adds the perfect refreshing crunch on the side. And their chili oil? An absolute must to drizzle on top for that extra kick. Service was fast, and you can really appreciate that everything is made fresh right in the open kitchen. It's a great spot whether you're planning a date night, family dinner, or even dining solo. Next time, I'm excited to try the no-spice clear broth, the broth itself is so rich and flavorful, and it's mild enough to be kid-friendly too. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

Friendly vibes and good service. Would go with friends if they wanted to go. Parking situation is great, easy to find parking. Recommend: beef noodle soup, beef rolls. Criticisms: knife cut noodles are too soft, soup is watery and salty, and dishes don't have very much meat in general.

Food: not pictured were the lamb skewers. SO good. We inhaled them before I remembered to take a picture. I don't like lamb in general, but these were delicious. My next second favorite was the beef noodle soup. And last but still very good were the beef pancakes. They were good the next day too. Service: a bit slow but no other complaints. Ambience: a good amount of indoor seating, a bit bright, and not the most inviting interior.

If you haven't tried noodle St get in your car now and head over immediately! In all seriousness, I didn't know what to expect from this restaurant and I was blown away. I was doing a happy dance the entire time we were there. QINGHAI CLEAR COLD NOODLE- Chewy noodles served with a chili and vinegar sauce. They are topped with fresh garlic and scallions. I could have eaten many servings of this. BEEF ROLL PANCAKE- Beef, green onions, cilantro and hoisin sauce wrapped in a soft and buttery pancake. This is probably the best beef roll pancake I've ever had. SPICY BEEF NOODLE- Chunks of beef shank, kale, pickled veggie, cilantro and green onions. The meat was so tender and the spicy level was perfect. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

This is always my go to spot when I'm craving some great quality noodles! Their signature beef noodle looks simple, but packed with great flavor. What really tops it off is their housemate spicy oil which isn't too spicy at all. You can always adjust the spice level of the noodle and add on more as you go from the spice jar on the side of your table (they are the same spice oil). Their minced beef dry noodles has a nice saucy touch to it. It also comes with a side of soup so you can taste their signature broth! The beef roll has a nice crunchy texture. The meat inside also is nice and warm! A lot of places who sell this has cold meats or not enough meat inside, but this has a great amount of meat. The restaurant was also doing a menu sampler for orange chicken. It had a nice tangy taste with a good crisp. Would recommend for this menu addition! The ambiance is great as well. There is an open kitchen where you see the chefs, who all wear masks for sanitary reasons. The servers were all really friendly and attentive. Great restaurant to bring your friends and family. Highly recommend!

To be perfectly honest, the main reason why we ended up coming to Noodle St was because we'd already been to our go-to spot for beef noodle soup more than once during this trip. However, that's not to say I hadn't already had my eye on this place - after seeing them pop up multiple times on my IG feed, and reading through a bunch of their reviews on Yelp, I'd had this place sitting in my list of bookmarks just for an occasion like this! Compared to our aforementioned spot for beef noodle soup (A & J), I absolutely love how parking here is so much easier. Granted, it helps that this complex is also a lot larger, but it doesn't change how much more convenient (and I can stop into H-Mart, too!). Plus, it was great how we were able to get seated immediately and how modern and clean the decor is. As far as the menu goes, it's pretty straightforward and not all that extensive, but it's no less interesting. Along with their selection of noodle dishes (several of which sounded tasty), they also have a solid selection of a few rice plates, appetizers, and sides as well! -- BEEF ROLL PANCAKE - Beef, Green Onions, Cilantro, and Hoisin Sauce...$12.80 Ehh...I wasn't high on this one, but it's definitely a "me" issue - there was so much fresh cilantro in this! Some of the slices of beef felt a bit dry as well, but I actually thought the pancake was great! The outside was slightly crispy yet the inside had a nice chew to it. -- LAMB SKEWERS - Lamb, Chili Powder, and Cumin Powder...$9.50 This was my favorite dish of the night! Each of the skewers had a fair amount of meat, the chunks of lamb were juicy with a good bit of char, and the seasoning had the perfect balance of cumin and chili powder. -- SPICY BEEF NOODLE SOUP with Chunks of Beef Shank, Kale, Pickled Vegetables, Cilantro, and Green Onions...$16.50 Not bad, but not as awesome as I had hoped for either. The knife cut noodles were cooked well, the slices of beef were moist, and I liked the kale, despite how it initially felt like an odd addition. As for the broth, it wasn't bad, but I wish it had been a bit more luscious and beefy. While I waffled back and forth between giving three or four stars for the food, it ended up being an easy call after factoring in service. For the most part, the workers were fine - they greeted us when we walked in and were generally pretty friendly. That being said, throughout our meal, it felt like we were being rushed out. Someone would come to take away each plate almost immediately after we would finish the last bite and were quick to hand us our bill and clear our table. It would be (somewhat) understandable if the restaurant had been busy, but the place was barely half full the entire time we were here. Considering how so many folks seem to like this place, I can't help but wonder if we might have had better luck trying their signature noodle soup dish. At the very least, a more relaxed experience (and less cilantro, for me) would've helped. Given that, I wouldn't mind coming back to give a couple of their other dishes, but in the meantime, THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now feels about right.

The place gets really packed during dinner time, so expect a wait and maybe come before you get super hungry. BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! Like Gene, the serrano ahi poke bowl with wontons was the "go to" for every visit. Another fan favorite was the guac-poke with wontons. Well, wontons were removed from the menu altogether, and the serving size of the ahi is half of what it used to be. Not sure if this was a local decision or corporate decision, but it was a bad one! Second faux pas on the new menu is the removal of black beans with the taco plate. Now your options are fries or a salad. Who orders fries or salad with tacos? Black beans are so cheap. Even if you charge $1 for them, you're making money. Doesn't make sense to remove them. Oh, and the 3 taco plate is no longer an option. You can only get 2 tacos now. Third questionable decision ... eliminating the miso salad. The bartender told me that the house salad on the menu is the same as the miso salad. They mean the same thing. When the runner delivered what I thought was the miso salad, it looked different. So I asked her if this was the miso salad. She said no, that is no longer on the menu. So .... ya. Another big change for me was the removal of my favorite wine, the chenin blanc. The other whites are subpar IMO and not worth the drive over there ... especially with all these really poor menu changes. So now you know why I'm looking for a new happy place. If you know of any open air, fresh fish places, please DM me. Thanks! P.S. I went back and forth between giving 2 stars and 3 stars. The employees here are really exceptional. And I didn't think it was fair to give the whole restaurant 2 stars because their culinary executive is absolutely clueless.
