    Chicken Curry Hand Pie
    Anthony D.

Ordered through Uber Eats and even though it took over 50 minutes, the food showed up hot and tasting fresh. We ordered the Chicken Curry Hand Pie, Half Charcoal Chicken, Spicy Smoky Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Tarts, and Banana Caramel Chocolate Brownie. The Half Charcoal Chicken was by far the best of the bunch. It was succulent, spicy, the charcoal came through, and paired so well with the coconut rice. The funny part is that it is spicier than the Spicy Smoky Chicken Fried Rice. The fried rice was just okay. It wasn't super flavorful but everything was cooked well. It was our first time trying the Chicken Curry Hand Pie and we were pleasantly surprised. I'm sure it's much better in store because it wasn't as crispy as it looked. The green sauce was really fragrant and paired well with the curry spices. The Banana Caramel Chocolate Brownie was so good but SO rich. Definitely need something to drink on hand.

Ordered the pork dumplings, corn fritters and coconut rice. I never write reviews but this food was way too good to not share. Holy cow highly recommend. Best dumplings I have ever had.

Super tasty & trendy Asian fusion find! We loved their entrees & desserts (not pictured because we got too excited and ate them before we could photograph!) You have the ability to order everything through a QR code at your table, at the counter, or through a member of the wait staff. We had a great experience with the team on site and will definitely be back!

For authentic asian, do not come here. This place is fusion but presents itself in a very asian way. The food is decent but for the prices, I wouldn't come here often. I will come back dor the pastries & dessert. That's where I felt the food was innovative in how its fuses classic pastries with asian flavors. The service was friendly but in a hyper way. I learned a lot from the server & matched the environment of hipster asian food restaurants.

Delicious flavors and friendly staff! You can order from the register or via a QR code at the table. There's more menu items such as other noodles dishes on the website. Definitely check out the menu on the website! I really enjoyed everything we ordered. The half charcoal chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I would recommend to share with someone! The Dan Dan Mian was a little spicy and my favorite. It had a nice basil flavor. The smoky fried rice lived up to its name. The corn and jalapeño fritter plate is a good size to have as an appetizer. I liked the cornbread like texture of the dish. I've already been here twice and want to come back again soon to try the other dishes! I really enjoy all the flavors.

This place is my go to for gf Asian food! Everything was absolutely delicious! 2 members of my party have Celiac disease so finding a place that has a gluten free menu options clearly labeled was amazing! Staff were friendly and informative, especially about allergies. I cannot recommend this place enough, so yummy!

Takeout or dine in always an amazing dining experience. Cool spot on Diversey with a friendly knowledgeable staff. Great flavors and textures in every dish from sweet to savory. Dumplings are a go to but have never been let down with the specials. Easy ordering in a funky and eclectic atmosphere. Love this spot.

I enjoy the food here so I drop by once I'm awhile when I'm in the area. Spicy smokey chicken fried rice ($16): garlic & chili marinated chicken, egg, corn, jalapeño & crunchy vegetables, tossed with chili garlic sauce topped with crispy puffed rice, cilantro & scallion. Tasty and a perfect amount of veggies but there weren't as many chicken pieces. Wok-seared pork noodles ($13): Berkshire char siu pork, cabbage, carrot, bean sprouts, savory garlic soy, toasted sesame seeds. Good amount of ingredients that complemented each other well. Oatmeal cream pie ($4.25): black sesame & oat cookie stuffed with salty vanilla butter cream & plum jam. I didn't think it tasted all that special but it did look appetizing, similiar to an oreo pie but with different ingredients. Shrimp & garlic boiled dumplings ($12 for 6 pcs): Oishii shrimp, savory garlic soy, Sichuan chili oil, woodear mushrooms, scallion. The dumplings tastes good and I'd order again.

Oh my god this place was SO good!! The restaurant is adorable, and they have an outdoor patio space, too! You order at the counter or on your phone at the table. We ordered the vegan dinner for two, plus the sangria and the malort drink. The sangria was yummy and not too sweet. I loved the malort drink too, with the grapefruit and cinnamon. The vegan dinner was soooo good. I did the math and you save like $8 ish by ordering the meal vs everything separate. Basically you get the dessert for free, which I think is worth it because the mochi was amazing. You get two appetizers, the cabbage salad and the fritters. The sauce the fritters came with was amazing! The chili noodles were my favorite. The noodles are made in house and they're huge, and the spicy peanut sauce is to die for. I will definitely be coming back here!

The cold gluten salad is a true highlight here, with an impeccable springy texture and an absolutely perfect mix of chili oil and sesame in the seasoning. The flatbread was also a standout, being perfectly crunchy and flavorful alongside a cumin lamb with a good punch. I was less impressed by the hand-pulled noodles. The soup itself was fine, as were the lamb intestines (though I really prefer them grilled). However, for hand-stretched noodles, the noodles were just lacking and missing something. Maybe wheat noodles get better the further west you go, and it just isn't quite Lanzhou style.

I tried the biang biang noodles, but which was a bit bibimbap-esque with the tomato and egg, black bean pork, braised beef, and minced sauce. This was awesome as I love each ingredient individually but normally can't choose between which noodle bow I want. Mixed together, this creates a heavenly flavor of sweet, sour, and umami. The biang biang noodles were thick, chewy and bouncy, and like wider longer belts. The texture was actually so addicting and I devoured my bowl almost instantly. My friend got the Szechuan spicy vermicelli pot with beef, but this needed a bit more flavor and spice. Adding vinegar helped! Our server was super nice and friendly and helped us pack all our leftovers too.

I'd ordered Homura, and stepped away to wash my hands. Just as I was sitting down, the bowl of hot fresh goodness was placed in front of me. Even when the place was busy, the service remains lighting-quick! friendly and attentive too! As for the bowl, it was absolutely fantastic! Upon mixing, everything went together perfectly. The flavors were tremendously savory and rich, with accents from the egg, seasonings, veggies, and a healthy amount of meat. The noodles were cooked perfectly too! The bowl was perfect as is, and needed nothing. I was worried the bowl would be dry, but this couldn't be farther from the truth, especially with the ladle of liquid on the bottom, everything was perfect! Now, there are various seasonings and flavor enhancers on the table, but they weren't needed, in my opinion. If you do choose to add some, be careful, as some pour fast and heavy! After happily slurping this thing down in record time, I also ordered a single helping of Chashu, as I generally love it and wanted to try. It too was brought to me in no time, and was thin, well balanced, and melted in my mouth. Where it comes to value, the bowl was $13.50, and the slice of chashu was $1.50, IIRC. Great, especially in light of what everything costs nowadays. Final verdict: Kajiken came, and it DELIVERED. Everything from start to finish was top notch, and for a very fair value of $13.50 for a fresh, tasty, and filling bowl of goodness.

But the ambiance of the restaurant was really nice and clean, decorated with lanterns and a wood themed interior The ramen was pretty lackluster - the noodles were very tough and under done and the broth was less savory than I would've liked for a tonkotsu. The soba noodles were flavorful but also could've been cooked better. For a $20+ dish I felt the portions were disappointing, especially since I think I was missing some toppings Overall, id be down to eat here again and would probably have a better experience the second time around if dining in instead

MingHin was packed, loud, and a little chaotic. Worth it. Dim sum is an experience as much as a meal and MingHin delivers on both fronts. We ordered more than we could keep track of. Soup dumplings that immediately became the kids' personal obsession. Shu mai that hit every time. BBQ pork buns in every form they offered because obviously. Chinese broccoli to balance out the indulgence. Everything was solid, fresh, and exactly what you want from a dim sum spread. The room was packed and buzzing but the service kept up impressively. Servers were constantly circling, clearing empty plates and dishes without missing a beat. Clean and attentive even at full capacity, which is no small thing. Fair warning if you are bringing little ones: this environment is a lot. The noise, the crowd, the overwhelming parade of food arriving at the table.
