First time here looks new inside but very empty and quite I hope they can do something with the decor, but I'm not rating the appearance I'm rating the food.. They gave a lot of meat which made me super happy, but I wish the meat was garnished with something when they brought it out but most places don't do that. I come here often but after my last visit i think that ill just go the extra mile to the naperville location. The service is ok, a hit or miss. The main problem i have is that my most recent visit i placed 2 to go orders. The first order seemed a little high but i just assumed it was from taxes. The next thing i purchased was a milk tea which should've been around 4 dollars including tax. It ended up being 5 dollars plus change. I used my credit card for both orders. There should have been an option stating how much you want to tip, if any( i wasnt given that option on the screen).Thats when i realized that the cashier was giving himself a tip and then telling me how much the orders were. For a Vietnamese restaurant the suburbs, I am happy with this place. I don't regularly dine in here. I usually have them deliver to my house, and they are great! I love that this is a good option for delivery in the suburbs. I love the udon noodle soup and the egg noodle soup. Spring roll appetizers are fresh and authentic. Great menu...large selection of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean dishes. Not the best I've had but pretty good. Portions are a bit on the small size. It used to be a Chinese restaurant with a sushi bar. When they removed the sushi bar, the dining area just looks weird. I will be back though. read more

Stopped here for lunch by myself a few months ago. Ordered the spring rolls, which were very good, and pho. The pho was good except I wasn't a huge fan of the meat that was in it. Some of it was chewy and the pate or whatever it was just kind of grossed me out. Next time I would order it without meat. I was the only person in the place for about an hour,so that was kind of awkward Not even any music to break the silence until about halfway through my meal. They did accomodate my food allergy well (no reaction!)... I will be going back to try some more of the food. read more

Just had lunch at Noodles Pho U. Hubby and I had the beef gyoza and pho with Vietnamese iced tea. The gyoza were perfect. 2 bites and spiced perfectly. The pho was heavenly. Prefect and warm for a cold January day. read more

This is the first Pho I've tried so I can't say how it compares to proper Pho but it tasted really good to me. Good enough that I craved it and came back for it again. They have about 10 different ones. I had the beef brisket and eye of the round one. I also had the shrimp Summer roll. It wasn't tremendously flavorful but did taste fresh, had a great peanut sauce and was a large portion (2 × 8 inch rolls for $5.45). Service has been very attentive both times. We ordered the Ben bo hue spicy noodle soup, egg rolls, and shrimp tempura. The soup was very tasty, but could of been alitte spicier. The egg rolls has a meat filling that was very tasty. The sitting area was clean and staff was friendly and prompt. I would recommend this restaurant and would visit again. read more

It's a shame my first online review has to be a negative one. Why was the restaurant closed before it was supposed to be? I've worked in different facets of the restaurant and hospitality industry, and this is by far one of the worst things I've come across service wise. As a business, this is unacceptable. There is nothing that excuses shutting down half an hour early (or perhaps sooner than this) when you still have orders that were already paid for and awaiting pick up. It's essentially stealing, pure laziness, and horrible staffing/management. I placed an order at the Bolingbrook location today around 8:30 pm. At 8:45 pm, I got a call from them saying they were out of ice cream and was offered a smoothie. Okay no big deal, that's nothing to fuss about, so I took it. There was no notification (e-mail or verbal) of any other problems with my order, nothing saying that my order was ready, or any implication that they would be shutting down early, so I left five minutes later expecting to be in and out of the restaurant with my food. I got there shortly after 9:00 pm to find the lights off, the door locked, and another confused customer. After looking around to see if maybe someone was inside, I tried calling multiple times with no response. I even tried knocking on the door. Still no answer. The website says they close at 9:30 pm. The sign on the door says 9:30 pm. I even called the Lombard location to confirm that I had the right closing time, and sure enough I was right. In the ten minutes it took for the restaurant employee to call me, and for me to drive to the restaurant, everyone had left... Before closing. It doesn't matter if it's dead on a Tuesday night or a busy Friday dinner rush. You wait until the last order is filled and delivered/handed to the customer before packing up! It's part of the industry! What, were they waiting for me to pay for my food so that they could make it and take the order for themselves? Where was the food that I spent roughly $40 on? Clearly not in my hands, nor did it magically appear in my stomach because I'm still hungry and quite angry at this point. It was a waste of time trying to navigate the god awful system they have for online orders, a waste of gas and time going to their so called establishment only to be faced with this nonsense, and a waste of more time because now I will be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges. I got no food, so why would they get my money? I'd rather order elsewhere in town or make the drive to H-Mart or Mitsuwa. You are a restaurant. The basic definition of your job is to feed people and provide them with service in a hospitable manner. Clearly you've failed at understanding this. read more

I've ordered here a few times. The Pho is ok, would probably recommend other places for it. The fried rice inferno is my favorite. Portion sizes are big for the price. This is an acceptable place to order Chinese from. A little disappointed that Pho is in the name or the restaurant but the pho is average at best. read more

Beware the service is horrible. They believe it is acceptable to bring out one dish at a time and let others wait. You will be 20 minutes into one dish before the next is brought out. Recently ordered take out and told 25 minutes. Showed promptly at 25 minutes and walked out at 50 minutes disgusted with nothing, as they still weren't ready and couldn't tell me how much longer. Horrible service. Will not go back again. The man who served us was very rude, disrespectful and plain dishonest. He did not care to answer our questions about the menu, like we were dummies to even ask... Then, wrong food came out, again, he would not care less like it was our fault. Lastly, adding insult to injury, he inflated the bill, adding his own 20% tip on a hidden screen before quickly pressing an ipad to my face with only a huge signature box to finger-sign on. No paper receipt or electronic receipt sent by email. I saw the inflated bill on my bank statement days later. I am disputing the bill with my bank to have the tip refunded as this man did not deserve to be tipped! I have been going to this place when it was still named "Bok Choy" and it has been going downhill for a while now. I kept coming back hoping it would go back to how good it was before BUT tonight's outing really was the last straw. Obviously, they are short-staffed. The "now hiring" sign had been on that window for months. It takes FOREVER for the server to get food orders. They serve your food 1 at a time that you are done eating your first order before the next 1 is served. There's always 1 thing missing, serving spoons/utensils/chopsticks/etc that you have to call then back - and wait, again. There servings keep getting smaller and smaller! For a 13.95 salt & pepper smelt, the jalopeno/s outnumber the smelt. Same with the supposedly "large" chinese broccoli with shrimp - they're about 10 shrimps in it. If we had the "small" order, i wonder how many shrimps it would have, 3? For the price of these tiny servings per dish, IT is WAY OVERPRICED!!! Then, the other guy who could've been the owner because he has an ATTITUDE ( like he didn't care your the customer) just gave us a slip of paper for our check. No (usual) I-pad, no list of food we ordered to check for accuracy, with the already added 20% tip! These really got into my last nerve! I went to him and demanded a proper "accounting" of what I ordered and this, without the gratuity added to it yet. This man really lost his cool and showed what a lousy businessman he is - he pouted, grabbed the ipad from me roughly and almost threw a tantrum, pouting like a kid! And I still gave him a 15% tip! I should have just given him a dollar!!! No way we are going back there again, ever! If they don't straighten out their act, they will lose more customers and close up shop before long. read more

A few years back when i first tried it it was great (5-stars), good food, correct orders, fast prep, on-time pickup. It has gone downhill ever since (2-stars), food is still good, order is consistently incorrect and NEVER on-time. TL;DR Long time customer wont order from them again due to poor online delivery service and rude delivery driver. Details below. I've been a long time customer of this location (Bolingbrook) cause they deliver to me and there are no other options for Vietnamese in my immediate area. The food is decent and I never had a problem until this one time, which was bad enough of an experience to never order delivery from them again. Delivery order placed online at 5:53p. Email confirmation says 7p delivery. That's a long time but at least i knew what to expect. 7:31 rolls around and i call the restaurant as my order hasn't arrived. They are apologetic but say wait a little longer. 8p rolls around, food isn't here and I'm over it, call the restaurant and tell them cancel my order and refund my money. The guy on the phone pauses when i ask for a refund as he clearly doesn't know how (or cant) to do it. Says he has to call his boss and he'll let me know. Naturally, the delivery guy shows up literally 2 mins later. I greet him with "you're over an hour late" to which he angrily responds "you just ordered". That set me off since I actually ordered 2 hours and 9 mins ago and was expecting the food 1 hour and 2 mins ago. Needless to say we argued and i told him I already called the store for a refund, and he needs to take the food and beat it. We argue, hes obviously upset since he doesn't feel its his fault but I tell him it sure as hell isn't my fault. I immediately call the store and ask about my refund to which they respond they are working on it and imenu360 will send me an email when the order is refunded. That was an hour ago, still no email. Anyways the whole ordeal is a shame since I like their food, they deliver, and I have no other real options for Viet food that delivers. Obviously the delivery driver doesn't know anything about customer service and for that reason alone I cant order from their anymore. He had the audacity to argue with me about who's fault it is for the food being over an hour late. In reality i think the problem is with imenu360, what i believe happened was that imenu didn't get the over order to the restaurant in time or the restaurant missed it. That put me in a bad spot cause i was waiting 2+ hours for an order and the delivery guy in a bad spot cause he probably didn't know the situation. What he did wrong was blame me and then argue with me on my own property instead of being apologetic regardless of situation. Apparently the customer isn't always right, sucks for me. So I've been back a few times but only for smoothies. It was fine until I encountered a rude young lady at the register. Her attitude stopped me from going for a while because they aren't the only restaurant that serves smoothies with boba and I don't spend money where I am not wanted. I decided to try again this weekend. My 2 daughters and myself stopped in mid day on a Sunday for lunch. We were seated within about 5 minutes and someone came by to drop off waters. There was another 3 person family that came in after us, then another party of 6-8 way after we showed up. As I sat patiently waiting for a server, I saw the family that came in after mine getting served appetizers. Then the server went to the table with the large party. No need to ask what happened next. ZERO STARS! Very very upset. I was there on Saturday for my first time. I came in really excited. We split the Pho Ga and ordered two Banh Mi sandwiches. The pho was a disappointment. I could tell the broth was not cooked long enough or either all the herbs were not used. The oil was not skimmed, so each time I ate it, I was getting a lot of oil on the noodles and my lips. The biggest thing that pissed me off was my sandwich. It was supposed to have pate spreaded on it. I bit into a dry sandwich. The waiter tells me that he didn't know they ran out of pate. WHY make it and SERVE it then?? On top of that, I had to pay full price for that disgusting, dry, poor sandwhich. Nothing made it taste better, the butter they gave me was too hard to spread on it. I really was about to brust into tears because I was so frustrated. You think I would not notice the poor quality in the food?!!! I AM Asian! I cook Vietnamese food! I hate to write this review but it must be done. My experience with this restaurant today was so incredibly unbelievable that I have to say I will never order from them again. I placed an order at 7:10pm through Grubhub. I was sent emails and texts informing me that the food would arrive between 8:10-8:20. I finally called them at 8:50 as an hour and a half passed and still no food. The restaurant was completely unconcerned about my ridiculous wait and the guy just said hey had a lot of orders. Umm....then inform me of that when I'm ordering!!! I would not have ordered had I know it would take such a long time. To make matters worse, I was told the food would arrive in 5 minutes from the time I called. A half hour later, the restaurant called and told me it would be 20 minutes more! Two and a half hours to wait for a meal? Seriously?? Forget it. They lost my business forever...and I will tell everyone and anyone about the rudeness and lack of concern this restaurant gave me.
