I've been going to Gong Ho ever since I was a kid and it has never disappointed me! Walking in, it is newly renovated and much more modern but still having a warm welcoming feel. Gong Ho is famous in my family for its quick and delicious food for an affordable price. I get the same thing every time I go: lunch special number 5 (sweet and sour chicken with barbecue strips) with egg drop soup. Food is served very fast and the quality has never gone down. My parents love to get their fish filet with vegetables and the shrimp egg foo yung. We will continue to be regular customers of Gong Ho. It is a family business and you'll often see the families' kids helping out- so you already know that the food is bussin'. Pricewise, it is completely affordable and more than fair. I appreciate that portions have not changed throughout the years. The restaurant is great for big groups as well. As always, I always encourage everyone to support their local businesses! Gong Ho has been a favorite of ours ever since I was a kid and that won't change!

Nice looking restaurant with reasonable prices and large portions, but the food was just mediocre. Overall, the food was excessively salty and the preparations didn't do much to bring out great textures or flavors. Here are my thoughts on the different items I tried. Egg roll: Probably the best item I tried. The skin was crisp and the mix of pork and cabbage had the flavor that I expected. Potstickers: The meat filling inside was tasty, but the skin was excessively thick and the pan searing didn't do much to bring out a crispy element or seared flavor. Orange chicken: The flavor of the orange peel was evident in the sauce, but the sauce itself tasted fairly flat. The chicken appeared to be deep fried, but this wasn't very evident in the texture as it was somewhat soggy and the edges of the batter didn't really have the wok hay that I was expecting. Mongolian beef: Not the sweet hoisin / plum sauce version that you get at a lot of other places. This is the spicy version which I believe had chili bean paste and onion, and wasn't my favorite flavor combination (particularly as this was very salty). The beef texture was also a bit soft in this preparation. Sweet and sour combination: The sweet and sour shrimp wasn't bad and was actually quite crisp. But the pork and chicken part of this was quite overcooked. The sweet and sour sauce looks nice with small chunks of pepper, tomato, and pineapple but this added little to its flavor. Overall, not a bad place if you need a nicer atmosphere and to get full at a reasonable price. But the food is nothing special.

Nice family owned restaurant. I have been in search of alternatives since my favorite Chinese restaurant closed. Loves the egg rolls here. The lemon chicken was something that i never tried before and it was good too. They seemed to stay busy. I will try again. Happy New Year!

So I decided to order Tomato Pepper Steak (TPS) and BBQ Pork Fried Rice as I thought two simple dishes would be easy to make taste great?! Oh was I completely wrong... The TPS was OK but the BBQ Pork Fried Rice was absolutely horrible that I just threw it out. The plain white rice tasted better?! Picking up the carry out went smoothly as the worker handed the food to me with a smile. The place was busy so happy for them but any fried rice dish should be delicious and tasty so what happened?! Epic fail on the FOOD: 2 stars Service with a smile: 3.5 stars Overall: 2.75 stars Will not be back

We have come here so often, that my mom and uncles seem to know our servers. They really take care of us. And then mom likes to give an extra tip to whomever is really hustling. Service has always been top notch - even without the extra tip. Typically, we are split between two tables. After we mix and mingle and say our hellos, everyone sits down for some serious business - picking out our dim sum dishes. We all have our favorites - dumplings, buns (siaopao) filled with meat or custard, egg rolls, noodles, etc. There is something for everyone. Well, not sure about gluten free stuff... The tables sit about 10 and there is a "Lazy Susan" (turntable thing) in the middle for easier distribution of food. We love it and even use it for the obligatory family video (just set your phone to record and slowly turn the Lazy Susan). lol Overall, we are happy customers and will keep bringing our big Filipino family back here!

It took about 20 mins for the fried rice to be served, waited another 10 mins for the beef mongolian to be served (it was cold), the dimsums were not served at all. It's been an hour almost. I followed up the dimsum with the server and he arrogantly replied to me that the kitchen is making them. I said "we waited long enough, we will just pay what we ate." He was pissed and so arrogant. We are disappointed with the service. No good customer service. People come back not just for food but also for good service.

The server was always on her phone. I asked her so many times to removed the dirty plates from the table and she completely ignored us. The ambiance was empty just a few orders to go. I ordered online for carry out and the platform was easy to navigate. Once my husband and I arrived at the resto we were greeted by a very kind staff member. Our food wasn't ready but within 5 mins of us being there it was good to go. We tried the wonton soup and chicken dumplings app. Both were on the bland side. Normally I'm used to wonton soup also having noodles and theirs does not. Flavors were OK, felt like both dishes were missing spices. Everything was cooked perfectly though. Maybe we ordered the wrong items from here and need to try others instead.
