If you've never been here before, give yourself extra time for a pick up. It's in the middle of an unassuming plaza and can be hard to find. You'll see lots of parking spaces and trucks- look for the sign by the window. The ordering and pick up process went smoothly after finding the place. They don't take credit card, but they accept cash, venmo and (apple pay I think). The owner (I assume) was very friendly! The cheesecake looked amazing! But it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. It was thick and heavy, similar to NY cheesecake consistency. It was already presliced which was nice but it is much too heavy to finish one slice in a single sitting. It is definitely decadent, but if you are looking for a light or fluffy cheesecake, this is not it. Overall, a good, standard cheesecake!
My co-worker found NPC on Yelp and we trusted the process that the abundance of reviews raving about the wonderful cakes was something that peaked our interest. We had been planning our colleague's retirement party and wanted something special. Her request was for a red velvet cake and we noticed that it was an option according to their website. My co-worker communicated with them by email and then a phone call. She requested for the message to be written which she thought was going to be some type of frosting or gel handwritten. It ended up being a printed image instead. That's OK, at least the unique name was spelled correctly! When I met the owner, Eric. He was very friendly and helped me when I was lost finding the place. He offered to stay on the phone until I found the place. He told me that they have been in business for the past 40 years or something like that! Wow! This is not the type of shop where you can walk in and pick out items. You will need to place your order beforehand. It sounds like they do business with local restaurants and provide their baked goods and cakes. As for the taste, it was not overly sweet. From what I heard, everyone enjoyed the cake. It was impressive and massive with four layers and frosting, which was edible and not sweet. Usually, I scrape off the frosting on most cakes but I actually ate it. I had several people come up to me to ask me about the cake and where I got it. I think that is a very positive sign that they were pleased with the cake. Now, if you come here to pickup, please note that some navigation systems will lead you to the back alley adjacent to the trash company, and that is NOT where you want to go. If you are heading down Edinger westbound towards Grand Avenue, as soon as you pass Grand, you'll need to get into the immediate left turning lane and make a U-turn there. If you do not make a U-turn, then you will not be able to get into the center where you need to be. After you make a U-turn, make an immediate right into the center. It will then lead you towards a T intersection where you will make a left. Helpful tip, according to the owner, put in the directions to the business called Apex Athlete and it'll take you to NPC bakery. Map this out beforehand and you'll find this place easily. If not, you'll get lost like me and end up in the back alley and have to start all over back at Grand Ave. Another clue, look for the green trim and light beige building where the bakery is at. Bring cash or pay via Venmo or Zelle. if you pay with a credit card, there is an additional charge. I'd like to try their cheesecake when the occasion comes up!
Holy moly! I searched cake on Yelp and saw the reviews on this place. 20 years in business? You had to be THAT GOOD. They require 2 days notice, but I actually called the afternoon before the day I needed it. SIMPLE AND EASY PHONE CALL. Picked up at 10am when they opened. I don't like cheesecake but THIS WAS SOOOO GOOOD! It's buttery and creamy, but a little fluffy and airy. I keep going back for more! Everyone loves it! They all asked where I got it from. THANK YOU!!!!! Place is a little hidden (behind the stores, but I navigated by using the gyms location. Ty to that guy's review.) $55, Venmo or Zelle only. So worth it! It fed plenty of people with a good portion in each slice.
My dad is turning 82. My brother is hosting. We all are supposed to bring something. We all decide on something different. Per the usual for our family. Nothing ever matches. Like it's always an international day fest at our family parties. Anyways, I'm going off track. I pick Mexican because my dad loves a good wet burrito and cheesecake. I go to yelp, google, reddit, etc. "best cheesecake in orange county." Be warned that you need to place an order ahead of time. This is not somewhere you can just walk in and get a cake and walk out. I sent an email from work and then I ended sending a text to the number in the email and got a response right away. I didn't know what to pick so I just picked something. I picked the white chocolate raspberry swirl. It was SO good. I am not even a sweets person and I enjoyed it. I can't wait to order more cakes. So many yummy looking ones on the website and on yelp. Also, lots of reviews saying it is hard to find.... Well, let me just say that GPS makes it confusing however, if you just look at the address and where you are on the map, it's easy. She was sweet and she made the cutest happy 82nd birthday sign for the cheesecake. This is better than cheesecake factory because first of all support small businesses. And people out there on the internet really saying Cheesecake Factory...stop it.
One of the top cheesecakes I've had! They have so many flavors available on their website. We ordered the passion fruit cheesecake which had a layer of passion fruit jelly over it. They were able to make it for us in 1.5 days and were super responsive on email. The shop is a little confusing to get to and find. When we called them, they stayed on the phone with us for ~10 minutes patiently telling us street by street instructions on how to find them. The cheesecake itself was so rich and huge!!! They also supplied a happy birthday sign that they were able to specialize to say "'mama" instead of "'mom." Great service overall!
So far they are 3/3 Small hole in the wall location seems to never fail. The business has been operating for 20 plus years. I can see why or should I say taste why... I randomly stumbled on to this spot and I've been hooked ever since. Other than having great cheesecakes the fruit toppings they add on to it is super fresh and tasty. The service is always great and professional. I would definitely recommend this spot to everyone in oc. Thanks guys looking forward to that Date Cheesecake you were telling me about for Ramadan.
Amazing and beautiful cheesecake!! It was absolutely delicious, the fruit was fresh and tasty. I loved the flavor and the crust was divine. Eric was very pleasant. The service was quick and friendly. It's located inside a business center building, so there is a storefront, but it's really just to pick up the cake. Its made to order, so you call and chat with him about what you want, and then you pick it up. I was so happy with the order. Definitely will be back for custom cakes!
Mixed emotions. If pick up went well this place would have had 5 stars. But for pick up we showed up and called/messaged multiple times because we could not find the location and no one ever answered or called back so we left. About a hour later after we bought another cake they called and offered to deliver we allowed it as the birthday girl wanted cheesecake. Cheese cake was good nice and thick. They made a happy birthday sign and it was super cute. Want to order again but maybe delivery only unless we mentally prepare and get good instructions and clarifications before we go.
I was looking on Yelp for a place that sells cheesecake, and I stumbled upon Nordic Princess Cheesecake. I thought their cheesecakes and desserts looked great. I decided to go to their location to get a cheesecake for my father-in-law's birthday. I arrived at the location and had to call them to verify if I was at the right place because I thought maybe Google Maps led me to the back door of the location. Cynthia opened the door to what appeared to be a space where they make their desserts. She let me know that orders need to be made at least 2 days in advance (My fault for not reading through their page and website more, which I looked into more afterwards.) However, she was so nice to offer to prepare me a strawberry cheesecake. Thank you so much for the accommodation! I will make sure to call ahead of time next time. The cheesecake looked and tasted great! It was creamy and not too sweet. My family, especially my father-in-law, enjoyed it! I will definitely be ordering from here again. Tips: - Call ahead of time for your orders - The only forms of payment they accept are cash/venmo/zelle. No credit cards.
A friend brought over this beautiful cheesecake from here and it was so beautiful and came with personalized happy birthday sign! Delicious but could not eat a whole slice by myself in one sitting... I decided to get a chocolate cake the next week for my daughter's party and it was equally delicious and rich and decadent! The place is very hard to find- but that's my kind of place! If you want a storefront with fancy address, go somewhere else. If you want the best cheesecakes around, try Nordic Princess!
I can't believe I didn't think to leave a review sooner! This is my husband and my FAVORITE cheesecake of all time. I've been getting an annual cheesecake for his birthday each year since 2019 :) We've tried a few topping styles but the fruit is our absolute favorite. And it's massive! The box is almost 1 square foot Feels like it weighs at least 10 lbs. Rich, creamy and delicious! Eric and his team are super friendly and I've never had an issue with my order. Can't wait to enjoy this with my hubby tonight

We got the Oreo cheesecake and it was absolutely delicious--rich, creamy, and not overly sweet. Somehow I ended up eating the whole cake myself because it was that good. This is a long overdue review for Nordic Princess cheesecakes. I am so thankful to Eric who eliminated the stress from me on getting the perfect 70th birthday cake for my husband on a few days short notice. I was a bit skeptical because most reviews on him were for cheesecakes. So I took the chance and told him that I wanted a special white cake that's deliciously moist and yet fluffy with cream filling and clotted Devon cream icing with macerated fruits on top. I also mentioned that my husband likes just a touch of chocolate. Choosing this place was the best decision I have ever made. Eric created the most deliciously delectable and beautiful birthday cake our whole family ever had. Not one slice was spared from being devoured. It was a huge cake and no left over. Not only was the cake beautiful, its freshness, texture, taste is definitely top notch plus the fresh fruits and clotted cream with shaven chocolates made it even more delightful. Eric, you are the BEST! Thank you so very much. I will definitely order my birthday cake from you. I still have to try your cheesecakes one day soon! read more
Good cheesecake, awful GPS instructions. I'm here to tell you, your GPS will fail you in the last 300 feet. I got lost so hard that I actually stumbled into the right place. You'll have better luck navigating to the Evergreen Santa Ana (Weed, once again, saves the day). For the cheesecake, I thought it was wonderful. I got the mixed berry. They were nice enough to print out a pretty sign to stick into my cheesecake. The mixed berry came with macerated blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and chocolate covered strawberries. Macerating gave the berries so much flavor! The actual cheesecake I got was New York Style (+$5), which means it was super rich and thick. Each bite was heavenly. It also had incredible cheesecake flavor and consistency, I'd say the actual cheesecake body is better than Cheesecake Factory. At the very least, it's way richer. However, the crust left something to be desired. The crust didn't look fully baked and the flavor was weak. I'd say the bottom of the crust was good, but the crust touching the cheesecake was too soft. I still thought it was delicious, it just wasn't perfect. The price was also very reasonable ($45 when I bought it). Nordic Princess makes excellent cheesecakes and I loved mine. If you want a delicious cheesecake, visit Nordic Princess Cheesecakes... if you can find it. read more

Simply delicious After going form one place to another trying to order a simple chocolate cake with buttercream frosting for my husband birthday I found this place is not only delicious but professional and she was able to make the cake for me ,even though it was 3 days notice and on the day after thanksgiving I'm definitely grateful to this wonderful cake quality that you can taste the chocolate cake is soft and fluffy super moist and the buttercream frosting is perfect ! I've been a fan of Nordic Princess Cheesecakes for quite some time now. I had a last minute request and Eric came through for me. The best customer service and very accommodating. The cheesecakes are very always beautiful and delicious. I love supporting local, small businesses. Especially when you get superb quality. They offer a lot more than just cheesecake too. If you were ever searching for a cheesecake then you need to come here. You get the quality of the cheesecake factory for a better price. I was looking for a whole cheesecake and yelp steer me here. I ended up getting a whole cheesecake and boy, was it yummy, heavy, and big. I love that it was decorated with fresh strawberries and a happy birthday chocolate coin! The presentation was on point. I ended up calling to reserve my order about a couple of days in advance. I even call the day of to see if I can pick it up an hour earlier and the service was great! You might not reach the guy the first time but he did call me back pretty fast. At the location, there was a couple who didn't put in an order but was able to get their cheesecake in 10 minutes. If anything I would still call to make sure he is there before heading to the location. The pickup location is hard to map but eventually, you will arrive. Just follow the number address and you will come to something that looks like an office building. Once, we arrived we just called and he brought our order out. I would definitely order here again! Eric has been amazing from start to end! My partner is in love with New York style cheesecake so I googled best one in town and up popped Nordic Princess. So I called late Thursday night around 2130 to place an order for Saturday pickup. I was expecting to leave a message with my order but Eric picked up instead and I was surprised but happy to hear he answered past business hours. He has amazing customer service and had a great attitude. I came in this morning to pickup and I had the worst time trying to locate the address. I called and Eric was kind enough to walk me through the steps to find the place. This place is NOT a store front it's actually inside a warehouse type of location behind other stores off the Main Street. If you come by to pick up a cake look for the dentistry and drive past it. They're in white and green warehouse buildings to the left. Now. This cheesecake. This cheesecake was immaculate, astronomical, sensational, thick and voluptuous. It did not disappoint and was worth every penny! The strawberries were fresh and delicious and he even put a little happy birthday chocolate coin. This really is the best cheesecake in town. Not to mention he had it precut for us!! I will definitely be coming back for more! read more

Dangerous! The cheesecake was so good I wanted to keep eating it. Definitely not great for my diet, but it was for a NYE party so I splurged. Eric and his staff were so kind. They even printed up a Happy New Year sign for me real quickly. Everyone raved about the presentation and taste. The cakes are huge! Way bigger than I anticipated. The perfect case of : DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER...when you pick up your cake/cupcake at the store ...you might be wondering...where am I and what am I doing in this neighborhood? Am I supposed to be in this alley?...hahaha not gonna lie..everyone is having trouble to find the store because it's literally a hole in the wall BUT honestly HANDS DOWN the best cheesecake and the prettiest too...we've been ordering so much from Nordic! No they dont. They take orders only but they do have a nice three inch personal size you can get.
