Came here for our last supper in LA. Since we were traveling with a gluten sensitive friend, we came here for their gluten free pasta. The food was pretty good, but the wait for our entrees was longer than expected. The garlic bread was amazing (unfortunately my gluten free friend couldn't eat this!). Service was friendly and seems like a family friendly place as well.

Yep 5 Stars. Why, well because I appreciate the consistency and quality of not only the food but the service. If you want a good place to dive with lots of fun every and open vibrant setting. This is your place Lots of great food choices and you have to sample the Cacio De Pepe Arancini If you simply wish to bar hop they have you covered as well. With a nice bar that allows you to sit and people watch to your hearts content

This is the location that turned us into North Italia fanatics for as far back as I can remember. Food quality, servers, managers, the vibe, located in the Hawaii feeling outdoor mall "The Point", and general feeling of your on vacation makes this one of the best places to visit if you haven't already. Food here over the years have evolved with some changes my wife and I wasn't too happy with after Cheesecake Factory bought them out. This last visit has reversed everything I didn't like about the changes and it literally has returned to its previous glory. Food was absolutely amazing this run! I came with my wife and mom (her first visit) and we ordered so much. Food: Braised Short Rib Marsala - The meat melts in your mouth. There's no way to describe how tender is and how easy it is to pull a piece away with your fork one handed. The polenta and mushrooms the ribs sit on have a super inviting taste. My wife doesn't like truffle sauces and that be the only thing I would switch out. Other than that the vegetables were still crispy but easy to chew. Perfect dish all around. Wild Shrimp Scampi is a must order for me. The shrimps are jumbo sized with a mix of flavors that's been improved since a few months ago. It's no longer swimming in grease and a joy to eat with the generous slices of toasted garlic bread. Burrata - Sweet vinaigrette, large chunks of fresh ripped tomatoes, crunchy toast and arugula is a 100% must order. The burrata cheese melts in your mouth. Ambiance - very lively and celebratory loud, this place is perfect for a fun date, a family gathering or even just to feel energize and enjoy an amazing atmosphere Service - Service at over the years have had hits and misses but the last 3 visits have been straight up amazing. Our latest server was with James again which was the server that first waited on us and made us feel welcome many years before pandemic years. He hasn't changed a bit and remains charismatic giving benchmark setting service. This was my mom's first visit and he really impressed her that she is now ok with us traveling 25 miles to eat here again lol. Managers and the host Friday night "Treya" not sure on spelling was awesome taking care of us. It's been a joy to see the menu improve by so much and all around service being so good again. Previous visits, Gunner and Wyatt (welcome back) are at the top of my short lists in best of the best in service. The staff here is why I spent 80% of my north Italia visits here. The other 20% at the Irvine location. Have yet to try the Torrance one. I remember many years ago a manager I believe "Lisa" turned us into regulars here forever. Looking forward to my next visit! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location. You won't be disappointed.

I was drawn here by the photos of the pesto pasta and boy did it deliver! Delicious pasta, fresh ingredients. Paired with a cappuccino and garlic truffle bread, heavenly. I felt comfortable in the atmosphere and enjoyed great service from the staff

The food was delicious, fresh, and will prepared. The atmosphere was nice , and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, and we had to wait longer than expected. Overall, it was still a good experience, and I would come back.

Always a pleasure! It had been quite sometime (probably 2 years) since I had been to this location, but the bartender still remembered me from when I used to come regularly with my cousin. Sometimes it's nice to be remembered. Evening of Wednesday 1/28/26 and It got crazy busy as soon as I sat down but they did a great job. I decided to try something new so I got the hot honey and prosciutto pizza. I hate smoked meats with a passion so I subbed regular prosciutto for the smoked. It was great, but as an Italian I like traditional. I don't like sweet and this was still amazing. If you don't like sweet get the "pig" pizza. Their charcuterie is awesome too. Love this place!

Always love the food here. The chicken Parmesan served with a side of rigatoni pasta with a white sauce is my favorite. The cocktails we ordered were outstanding. Service is solid despite restaurant always being crowded. A little fancier but they do cram the tables too much.

It's very uneventful... and honestly not worth the cost for the food and experience. Two pasta dishes one appetizer and 2 sodas (nothing alcoholic)... translated to a 6 figures tab. Food was not bad, but there was no wow factor to the dishes we ordered. Service was not bad, but it wasn't good. Server was polite and nice, but she was definitely not engaged and it was hard to get her attention. We had a nice table by the see-through kitchen glass.

Great spot for all occasions - not too fancy, not too casual. The restaurant is spacious and located in an outdoor mall. Service is friendly and attentive. I had lunch with a friend and our server gave us plenty of time to chat without rushing us. I ordered the squid ink tonnarelli, which was tasty and had a good strong tomato flavor. Slightly on the salty side.

I enjoyed the food here, along with the attentive service, and scenic ambiance. Ordered the steak and eggs for brunch, meatball pizza and the banana coffee cake. The cake was the best I've had! This place is added to my regular rotation.

We went here for my friends birthday which was a success. We had so much fun! The ambiance was great for celebrations or a date night. The short rib plate looked amazing and I had the bolognese which was recommended to me the waiter and I am glad I went with his choice. The garlic cheese bread was okay. My favorite was the chocolate cake and the cheese ball appetizer. I had 2 pomegranate mules which are a spin on the classic and underrated Moscow Mule. 5/5 drink! I could've had 5 more, they were delicious and could taste the refreshing ginger beer. Service was attentive and the waiter was very chill and genuine. The bathrooms were clean and had huge mirrors for selfies. I will definitely be back.

North Italia in El Segundo is one of those restaurants you visit once... and immediately start planning your next trip back. The location alone is perfect (just a short drive from the beach) so it already feels like the ideal spot for a relaxed date night, family dinner, or weekend treat. Now the food? Elite. The pizzas are absolutely amazing: perfectly blistered crust, high-quality toppings, and that balance of flavor that makes each slice hit like it was crafted by someone's Italian nonna. But the real star of the night for me is always the chicken pesto pasta. I don't know what kind of magic they put in that pesto, but it's bright, fresh, creamy, and just ridiculously satisfying. Hands down my favorite dish on the menu. Service is friendly, the vibes are modern and warm, and the whole experience feels like a step above your average Italian spot. If you're in the El Segundo area or hanging around the beach, definitely give North Italia a try. You won't regret it.

I took a friend to North Italia for her birthday and we had a wonderful experience. Even though we arrived about 20 minutes late due to difficult parking, they seated us right away. The food was excellent. I ordered the roasted salmon pasta and my friend had the Sunday Night Lasagna. Our waitress also recommended the seasonal vegetable salad with butternut squash and dates, which was delicious. For dessert she ordered a sundae that looked amazing. I only tried a little of the ice cream, but it was delicious. The atmosphere was lively but comfortable and the service was great. If you'd like bread, just ask--they brought out a very nice complimentary sourdough. Overall it was a great dining experience. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.

The drinks were great, and everyone there was really nice, which made the experience even better. The only thing I'd say could use some improvement is the music. Omg, I was definitely wishing the playlist had a little more energy or personality. Better music would take the vibe up a notch for sure. No mint on top, zero lime flavor, but a cherry on an umbrella. I literally took one sip and pushed the glass back to the edge of the bar. Not one bartender or bar back came to check on my party after sitting our drinks down. After about twenty minutes of being ignored someone came and grabbed my husbands empty glass but left my completely full glass sitting on the bar mat. Another ten minutes or so of still not being checked on and we finally decided to leave. I'm out the twelve bucks for my drink but I consider it a twelve dollar lesson in not coming back here again. Sadly, the only reason we chose to get drinks at this bar was because I insisted I wanted a drink before heading home.

We came here to celebrate my cousin's graduation after she became a doctor, and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. The food was delicious, rich, flavorful, and satisfying. He was attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: it can get pretty windy up there since you're close to the airport, so bring a light jacket or dress accordingly. The highlight of the night was definitely the drinks. We asked for something fun, and the manager surprised us with a couple of off-menu cocktails that were creative, delicious, and honestly the coolest drinks we've had in a while. They were pricey, but the presentation and quality made them worth trying. Unfortunately, the service took a turn after that. The manager disappeared for what I assume was a break, leaving a single server to cover the entire rooftop. We completely understand that things happen and it wasn't the server's fault, but we ended up waiting around an hour to an hour and a half without anyone checking on us. We wanted to order another round of drinks, but the server was constantly rushing past trying to keep up with everyone else. Eventually, we gave up, walked to the bar ourselves, paid our tab, and left. Flora has a great atmosphere, beautiful views, and some genuinely impressive cocktails. If they can improve the staffing during busy hours, this place would easily earn a higher rating from me.

The house poke salad, crispy pork gyoza, edamame, grilled jumbo scallop skewers, grilled shrimp skewers, and the Wagyu ribeye yakitori were all packed with incredible flavor. To drink, I had the refreshing Lychee Mocktail, and we also tried King Plus's five-sake flight, which is a great way to experience a variety of authentic Japanese sakes. Then we headed inside for the hot pot experience. We sampled four different broths--Kombu, Tonkotsu, Spicy Miso, and Sukiyaki--before cooking premium beef and fresh seafood right at our table. The Royal Seafood Set featured shrimp, Atlantic salmon, fresh scallops, fish balls, and the chef's curated seafood selection, while the Royal Beef Experience included ribeye, chuck roll, and beef belly. But the highlight for me was the Japanese A5 Miyazaki Wagyu. It was beautifully marbled, incredibly tender, and practically melted in my mouth after just a few seconds in the broth. We wrapped up the meal with a refreshing Yuzu Pop Sparkler, creamy matcha ice cream, and rich matcha cheesecake.
