I recently purchased a used 2011 GLK350 that needed new engine mounts. The dealer wanted $1500 to replace them. So I called around and was happy I stumbled upon Gary's shop. Not only was he very easy to deal with. His price was way under what dealer quoted. I had the engine mounts and spark plugs replaced. Also did the tranny service. I called one morning and after a brief conversation he told me to bring the car in later that morning to see if he could squeeze me in. He hooked up his machine and extracted the refrigerant to show that it was missing almost half of the refrigerant in the system. He promptly refilled it and had me on my way in less than 30 minutes. To start I'd like to say that Gary was referred by a friend that has an SL65 AMG and Gary got that one running from severely injured... We were broke down on the side of the PCH with my 2008 e63 AMG and I called Gary and he got a tow truck to come for me when no other truck came thru. The owner of the place, Gennadiy is incredible. He has an extensive experience and knowledge about Mercedes Benz through his history as a Master Sertified technician while employed at one of the largest Mercedes Benz dealership. He has won many awards and trophies during his employment with Mercedes. Gennadiy is very chill to talk to, never tries to sell you anything that is not needed, his work ethics are simply superb and professionalism is apparent when you see him working on the cars. In fact when I came to see him after dealerships crazy estimate for the brake job, he told me that my brakes are not even at 50% and I can drive the car for at least 8 more month without worrying. He offered alternative OEM parts and I saved even more noney. I don't mind driving 30 miles to see an honest, personable and knowledgeable Mercedes Benz technician. The facility is large, clean and separated waiting area with WIFI and AC. Services are top notch and if you need to ask Gennadiy a body building advise, He will gladly share his experience in that field as a competitive athlete and body builder. Called Gary to get an estimate on a new starter, and he recommended that I call the auto club to get a jump start to confirm that the problem wasn't the battery. Sure enough he was right and although a new battery for my BMW 325I was expensive, it was cheaper than a starter. I also had him do an oil and filter change along with new plugs and a coil, and he finished it all in an afternoon. While I can't say it was cheap, I can say that he did a good job and didn't try to sell me a bunch of extra work, which I'm sure the car could use but I couldn't afford at that moment. Most of all, he struck me as straight forward, knowledgeable and honest. I would definitely recommend him if you own a German (or any) car! read more
