Stopped in for a couple of drinks and had a great experience. While we didn't order food, everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in town!

Great establishment with friendly staff and patrons. Great food and reasonable drink prices and they have lots of TV's to catch the O's or the Ravens games as they are a Baltimore team bar. Had a great time here on opening day and the sea of orange and black being worn by the patrons. Definitely a go to spot.

Great spot, open year round and friendly towards locals and tourists alike. Food is always fresh, hot, and with huge portion sizes. Has a nice bar area as well if you want to watch sports.

It's the dead of winter, and the temps are frozen and frigid and we had cabin fever. So lets we get out for a meal. When Northside Pit and Pub ran an ad of all you can eat shrimp and ribs for $20 this was a perfect excuse to try this location. In the off-season this is the only pit and pub that is open. We were very warmly greeted and seated and we told them right away that we were only there for the shrimp and ribs so we didn't bother with the menu. Our server was Sam and she was fabulous. Sam was Warm and bubbly with a great personality. Not only that she was incredibly attentive. Having her as our server was at least 50% of the good experience we had there. The other 50% was the shrimp and the ribs. The first plate that they brought us was at least for me enough for the "all you can eat" price. I definitely got my $20 worth. My SO Did take advantage of the all you can eat by having two plates. So if you divide two people by three plates, what an incredible bargain this was. Even though it was winter I had a Sam's Cold Snap And my honey had a Yuengling served up frosty. Bargains don't matter if the food doesn't live up to the hype. The shrimp were large enough to not be "work". The ribs were "fall off the bone" tender and juicy with a sauce that was lightly brushed onto the ribs. We spent a lot of time down OC in the off-season so we will be back here again very soon.

Awesome place. Thought would be a big restaurant. Really small bar and grill. Not bad . Food was very good.

Quick pickup/carryout order made through a Yelp recommendation - a new found GEM! Do you see those fries? Five Guys who?

Amazing food. Just finished a pulled pork sandwich. Side cole slaw. Pork was perfect and addictive. Sweet and salty ( balanced) . Juicy. On a fresh firm roll that could stand up to the barbecue sauce. I like my slaw on the sandwich. I am a cole slaw snob. This passed muster with flying colors. Fresh. Sometimes places serve slaw that tastes and smells slightly rotten or chemical-ish in flavor. Not here. Server was the bartender. He greeted us when we came in. Got our order immediately. Brian was his name. Open for lunch on Mondays. Many places are closed. Husband had the cheeseburger. Juicy. Cooked to perfection. Same great roll. He loved it, but it was too big to finish. We will be back!

Nachos with pulled pork (jalapeños and sour cream on the side)

Walking in, we weren't really sure what to expect. The food smelled great, but my kiddo wasn't sold on the joint until she tried the nachos. The pulled pork we added was fantastic. I got the porker with onions and jalapeños on the side as the server let me know it was really spicy (and I'm not huge on onions). I'd probably go a different direction next time but that would just be my preference. The pork loin needed just a little more love and juice I think. Next time, I would just go straight nachos!

Conveniently located off Coastal Highway in Ocean City.

We recently discovered the Northside location, when a true local took us their first lunch. Don't expect anything fancy--but when you enter, you feel like you've been transported into an episode of Cheers. People love this place! Great comfort food. We get the pulled chicken wrap (great for carry out). It's cooked on a smoker--so you get a slightly smoked flavor. Everything on the menu looks great! The staff works super hard to make sure that you love your food!! Check it out. Good for dining in or carrying out, and there are two locations in Ocean City!

This place is exactly what it is supposed to be. Very friendly service, non-nonsense food and a casual atmosphere. The pulled pork is killer. We had it on the nachos and the portion of pork was generous. The smoke flavor is spot on and not over the top, if you know what I mean. It's delicious. I couldn't resist and had to order the "smoked" meatloaf. It is exactly what it sounds like. The meatloaf was moist and good on its own, and smother in lovely gravy. Then you cut into it and realize there is a smoke ring! And that little smoke hits you and it's a really cool dish! The sides were fine and not over complicated. Mac and cheese was solid and paired perfectly. Will do again!

I highly enjoyed my sandwich here and there wasn't really anyone in here because we went so late. Service was good and the food was good. My sandwich was freaking huge man! Little hole in the wall I wouldn't have ever expected to be as good as it was. Thanks!

Luckily we got there a little early because the wait was not terrible, but they got considerably busier shortly thereafter. For starters, we ordered their warm pretzel with crab dip, and it was very good. We liked that the pretzel was already cut into pieces, and the crab dip was very tasty. For dinner, I got the French dip with the french fries. It was very tasty and certainly enough to eat. I also got a side of potato salad, which I wasn't quite as crazy about because it seemed to have a lot of dill in it or some other herb. Not bad, but not my favorite. Wife got the turkey and gravy over crinkle cut french fries. She had never had it this way, but said it was very good. We got chicken strips for my son with french fries and I ended up eating some of the chicken strips, which were also very good by the way. One of our friends got the roast beef sandwich, which looked incredibly tasty. We had no complaints about the food, the waiter was very attentive, and the wait was not very long. We would definitely eat here again.

While the original brand was founded in May 1980 on the downtown Boardwalk by Phil and Marie, the 94th Street uptown location brings that same iconic barbecue joint energy to North OC--serving as a beloved haven for meat lovers and beachgoers looking for a hearty, satisfying meal. History & Ownership Year Opened: The original Bull on the Beach opened on May 28, 1980 on 2nd Street and the Boardwalk. The 94th Street spot was opened to bring their pit-cooking tradition to the uptown crowd.Owners: Founded by husband-and-wife duo Phil and Marie, who moved their family from Baltimore to Ocean City with a vision of creating a classic open-pit barbecue restaurant where guests could watch the meat cook over open flames. It remains a proud, family-operated Maryland staple. The Open Pit Beef Specials The star of the show at Bull on the Beach is their charcoal-cooked, top-round pit beef. Sliced thin to order and piled high on fresh rolls, it's served with signature additions like spicy tiger sauce, raw onions, and horseradish. The Open Pit Beef Platter: The classic, no-frills standard--tender, smoky choice top round sliced to your exact preferred temperature. The Barn & Bay: A classic surf-and-turf sandwich layering open pit beef with a jumbo lump Eastern Shore crab cake, bacon, and tiger sauce. The Dunker: Thinly sliced pit beef smothered in sauteed onions, melted Swiss, and provolone, served with rich homemade au jus for dipping. The Beef Royale: Open pit beef topped with cheddar cheese, bistro mustard, and a beer-battered onion ring. The Legendary Hot Beef & Gravy Platter If there's one comfort meal locals rave about, it's their Famous Hot Beef & Gravy. Hot Beef & Gravy Platter The Build: A massive portion of hot, thinly sliced open pit roast beef piled over thick sourdough bread. The Finish: Accompanied by a mountain of golden French fries (or mashed potatoes) and entirely smothered in rich, savory homemade brown gravy. It's an open-faced diner classic executed to perfection--warm, deeply flavorful, and guaranteed to put you straight into a post-lunch beach nap. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.
