It's been a while, but they are still fantastic! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate outside on a beautiful Saturday morning for brunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Zavier was awesome as was everything we ordered. No complaints at all and we'll definitely be back. Can't go wrong at Nose Dive!

Nose Dive was a great restaurant in the heart of downtown with a great gluten-free menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was super fun and perfect for brunch after the Saturday farmers market ends at noon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the GF fried green tomatoes which were great. They're sliced thinner than I'm used to, but the sauces made up for it. We also split the GF fish and chips which we would not get again. The fish was tough and rubbery and the breading was a cornmeal instead of a traditional batter. And the lunch portion was a little small. Next time I would definitely get the grits bar which is offered for Saturday and Sunday brunch. The service was great. I'm so thankful they had so many GF options.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here for Sunday brunch, wasn't too crowded or loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Didn't make a reservation but luckily they had plenty of tables available (for a party of 4). There was a $15(ish)/ person grits bar where you can go and get a bowl of grits from a buffet line setup with a large variety of veggie, cheese, and protein toppings! It was a huge hit with the group I was with. I ordered the avocado toast, it was magnificent. The toast was slightly crispy on the outside then soft & fluffy on the inside. It came sliced in four sections making it great for sharing. We also got a cranberry mimosa carafe ($23ish) and to my surprise it wasn't completely saturated with juice!! The champagne to cranberry ratio was perfect. They say you get what you pay for, but here, you get substantially more. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Matters not if it's nice weather they have the large windows open to let in the fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 85% of the menu is either Gluten-Free or Gluten-Friendly and they have a dedicated fryer, which was a plus. Xavier was an amazing server and didn't scoff at our mods. The food was solid. When the devilled eggs are at the bottom of your ordered likes, then I'd say you're doing pretty A-okay! The White Cheddar Fritters were fantastic! They would call them Cheddar T-Bombs because they had an explosion of delicious cheesey goodness flowing from the middle of a perfectly round and tender fritter. The presentation was great with a dollop of pesto aoli and a shred of Parm with finely shredded basil. Each little ball of ooey gooey deliciousness was on a smear of Tomato Jam. The Fried Chicken sandwich had us happy we opted to try it as it was hanging off the bun and perfectly good with a crunchy exterior and plump inside. We didn't care for the sweet-ish Alabama White, so glad we ordered off-side. The fries were plentiful. The NoseDive Mac & Cheese was a great thing to split. Love that you can order as is or add in a protein of you want to make it your meal. The four cheeses blended nicely together and allowed for a good cheese-pull when digging in. Needless to say our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we have leftovers! Will definitely recommend and will return if in Greenville again!

We came here today for brunch, and it was very good. We were able to make reservations, so that was a big plus for me. I hate waiting for a table. Our waitress, Kierra, was very attentive. I thought she went way out of her way to make things enjoyable for us. I had grilled chicken and fries. It was very tasty and not over cooked. My husband got the blackened grouper fish sandwich. He really enjoyed it also. We had bloody Mary's Mimosas, and my usual Bacardi and Coke. The food came out pretty quick, and we had zero complaints about anything. I hope to get back to Greenville soon to go back again!

We really like this restaurant on Main Street in Greenville. The food is excellent, cooked perfectly and sitting outside people watching is the best way to spend a day. Enjoy a glass of wine, a good meal, and create wonderful memories.

In town for work and best I can offer is this place is just ok. Everything about here needs a lift. Service was scattered. Food was ok but not great. Drink had to be sent back as it arrived with bits floating in it from whatever the bartender had last made in the shaker. We sat outside cause inside seating, despite lots of empty tables, was a 15 min wait. This time of year it wasn't too hot to be outside for dinner but soon it will be very hard to be outside as the temps rise. Located next to the Westin might make it any easy place for some folks to check out but I would suggest people maybe walk a little to find a better meal in downtown.

Wanted to try out this nice looking restaurant attached to a hotel on main street near all the other great dining. The atmosphere is more dim and has a finer dining feel to it. We were sat easily although our waiter seemed sidetracked or not focused on our table really. We were constantly waiting on things. Our drinks took a while and some never came at all so we said never mind. Our entrees were the worst part, I ordered Mac n cheese as I love it. Was told it was large, it was definitely more like a side. Not much to it, nothing to make it stand out as an entree, a big let down and was still left hungry. Unfortunately my friends steak came out rare instead of well. Huge difference there for a chef ran kitchen.... His replacement took so long we got it to go. Needle to say a very awkward dining experience, left us not wanting to return. This place doesn't seem to live up to its fancy attire, as its kitchen is a mess and service not the best.

Nose Dive was a little of a let down. I came here for Sunday brunch looking forward to some yummy food and drinks. I ordered the steak and eggs both cooked medium. It also came with potatoes. The meal was just ok.... I didn't love it as much as I hoped. I ordered a pineapple mimosa carafe and I was disappointed in it as well. Loved the $12 price but not the flavor. Very flat. I also had some hazy ipa on draft and I didn't enjoy it much either. The bartender was cool and very prompt in assisting me. I have no complaints on the service. The hostess girls also were friendly upon arrival. This seems to be a very popular, causal downtown spot. The inside has a table top seating and there is also a spacious patio out front. I wouldn't rule out coming here again as it seems to definitely have potential.

True to its name, Nose Dive makes you want to dive your nose into their food. Everything looks, smells and tastes delicious! Nose Dive is located at the heart of downtown, a block away from the Peace Center and in the midst of the hustle and bustle of N Main St. When the weather is good, they open up a whole windowed side of the restaurant so you can either sit outside (great if you have dogs!) or sit inside and still enjoy the outside weather. The best part about Nose Dive is that the upstairs is a craft cocktail bar. I'm a sucker for good cocktails especially with good ambiance. The bartenders upstairs really know how to pick a good cocktail for you. Let's talk food. - New England Style Lobster Roll $19: My favorite dish from this restaurant. So much lobster!! I don't really like food with a strong mayo taste and this was mainly lobster, bare minimum mayo. Totally worth it! - Grilled Cheese $9: A healthier version of grilled cheese with apples and arugula mixed in. Tasted amazing! - Nose Dive Chicken Fil-Ay $10: Yummmmm!! This is one of my new favorites! Firstly, the ambience is great. Plenty of seating and a great bar. We went for the brunch and chose the grit bar. Excellent choice. You build your own grit bowl and add the items yourself, several to choose from. They have numerous toppings to choose from. The food was hot and delicious. We also ordered the carafe of mimosas one orange one cranberry. Nothing better than mimosas and brunch!!! Service was excellent. Our server, Evan was extremely attentive, very pleasant and always looking after us to make sure our experience was a pleasant one. We will definitely be coming back. read more

I came here for brunch and had about a 40 minute wait, so prepare for that. It's right in the heart of Greenville so it's to be expected. Once seated inside, the service was very attentive and was able to get our orders in quick. Their mimosa's were delicious! I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict, it was really good, but it was not very hot at all. If you're in Greenville and looking for a nice brunch spot, definitely give Nose Dive a try but make sure to make a reservation if you can! 8/10 read more

got the veggie plate and added bbq chicken. chicken was a bit dry but the sauce made up for most of the dryness. the veggies were well seasoned, didn't eat the rice but it looked good as well. overall a really good and healthier option. service was good, nice waiter and speedy service. read more

We stopped in Greenville on our mini road trip to Asheville and couldn't be more happy with our decision to do so. The bridge and riverwalk were gorgeous. After walking around we stopped for lunch at Nose Dive. The place is very clean and the service was very prompt and friendly. I ordered the cauliflower turmeric hummus as my meal which was delicious and filling. The hummus was flavorful but not too spicy. The roasted carrots were delicious and the pita bread was very fresh. read more

Ordered fried green tomatoes appetizer and jalapeño burger. I paid $10 for 4 slices of tomato, they honestly did not have much flavor at all and felt like they could have been cooked longer. The burger was way too raw for me, I had to cook it longer. My whole order cost $30, so for that amount of money I'm pretty disappointed especially since they have lots of gluten free options. read more

Food was AMAZING as well as the ambiance. We only waited 20 minutes for our table. However, the wait for food after ordering is ridiculous, at least an hour. The burgers are delicious and sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked. I got the beat salad with salmon on top and it was great. Service is extremely slow so don't come here unless you have time to spare. read more

This place was awesome! Great beer selection and solid upscale bar food. The Cubano was fantastic. Super crunchy and hit all the ham notes you need. The fish and chips stayed wildly crispy the entire meal as did the fries. The Mac and cheese was creamy and decadent but could have used a little salt during the cooking. I an genuinely shocked by the poor reviews here. We had a fabulous meal with zero issues. The location is great in the heart of it all in downtown Greenville. We were seated fast and our server was very accommodating with our requests. I think the lowest point was that the fries were mediocre BUT the caprese burger was melt in your mouth fantastic and the chicken was such a happy surprise - being able to get fried gluten free chicken in the south was a real treat ! You must try the Alabama white sauce - we were skeptical but ended up wishing we had more. The prices were reasonable for what we received and we would wholeheartedly return. read more

My friends and I really enjoyed this. The outdoor seating was beautiful and the service was so nice. We all enjoyed our food - including the boiled peanut hummus, veggie plate with tofu, and beet salad. Despite what other reviewers said, we found the menu very varied - from burgers and fries to creative and healthy plates. And all plates had plenty of food. I would have given 5 stars if things were a few dollars less. read more

This restaurant was recommended by a local. Great place to eat. Cute atmosphere. The menu had a lot of different options. The food was great, the service was good and the Paloma drink with chili salt was extraordinary! Oh and the caramel chocolate covered bacon sundae. Get it ... it is lick the plate clean good! It was a little more crowded than I would have liked to see for COVID standards. I wish they could have opened up the upstairs bar just for waiting options for the restaurant. It was a little too close together for waiting to be seated. Overall...it was so good! read more

Wish I my server would have told me about the burger of the day. Walking out I noticed it on the board to the left as you walked in. I enjoyed the burger that I had got more than I thought I would. I took the risk to try the turkey burger, some places don't season turkey meat enough but this one was well seasoned. My sister and I had a good brunch there. Try to snag a seat outside, so you can people watch. Abigail was our waitress and she was fantastic. They have excellent cocktail choices. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is nice, especially with the windows open on a warm day. The service is pretty average. I had the grilled cheese and it was really greasy and fell apart the first time I picked it up. The fries were average, some of them didn't taste fresh. read more

Only giving it two stars because the service was great and the place looks neat, but the food is SO overpriced, bland and basic. My husband is the easiest person to please and LOVES Mac and cheese, he never leaves food on his plate and he could only stomach 3 spoons of their Mac and cheese. The pasta was way too hard (not al dente) and the sauce watery. A waste of time and money. read more

Ate here yesterday afternoon for lunch. It was quite busy so service was slow and it took a while to get small requests fulfilled (the only reason I'm giving 4 stars). But the staff was friendly and attentive. The food is great here! Large portions and definitely comfort food. I had their mac n cheese with fried chicken. It was super cheesy and the fried chicken was the perfect ratio of crispy and moist. Would not mind coming back here for a couple drinks next time I'm in town! read more

Great dinner! What an outstanding dinner. First, our server (Jenny) was awesome. Meeting with a couple of colleagues. Between the 4 of us, much of the menu was had. Personally, I had the Chicken Skins (app) and Duck (entree). Both were perfect and I will order again. Substitutions were easy. Gluten sensitivity was easily remedied. Went there the other day and got a burger, chicken and waffles, some drinks, and an appetizer. The appetizer and drinks were very good! Chicken and waffles were a little bland but still very good and had a good crunch to it. The burger was just okay in my opinion, I expected a lot more from a jalapeño popper burger, but it was decent. The ranch was extremely runny though and didn't have a lot of flavor. The service was good and it's nicely decorated, although very dimly lit. Overall it was okay, but not exactly worth the price to me! read more

I'm giving 4 stars because I didn't do the full grits bar and this is a popular thing for Nose Dive. Another plus is they make all their dressings in house. I did have the pitcher of mimosas and they had college football on the TVs so it was a good place to sit for a while during Fall for Greenville (my team was playing so I HAD to watch). The bartender was nice and the restaurant gives semi decent views of Main Street but I'll have to try the grits bar another day. read more

Ambiance was great! Service was good! The food....not so much. I had the shrimp toast, Caesar salad, Glazed chicken, a brownie, and two beers. For $65.00 save your money! The best thing was the salad! The chicken was baked with a slight slathering of a nasty sauce, the brownie was burned/smoked and was not edible, and the shrimp toast tasted like a soggy fried crouton. Great location, but if there is a chef on site, he was not participating with my meal! Save your money and go elsewhere!! At least the beer was cold and my server was super nice. Two thumbs down-will not be back again and neither should you! read more

We absolutely had a blast at Sunday Brunch. Huge, open windows open wide to the breeze and soft murmurs of passers-by. Our party of six enjoyed mimosas and Bloody Marys. Try the grits bar! Delicious! So many toppings - delish! The French toast and biscuits and gravy were all amazing. We will definitely return. read more

We tried the pretzel with beer cheese and mustard appetizer. It was 5 pretzel sticks so plenty for the table and very tasty. For lunch the chicken and waffles. The waffle was sweet potato and the chicken was crisped perfectly. 5 star recommend. We really enjoyed the meal, service and ambiance. read more

Definitely get the burgers here! They are soo yummy! We have been to this place a couple of times; the first time my husband had steak (so-so) and I had the grilled cheese (I believe with fig jam and apples; pretty darn good). So this second time, we decided to go for the burgers and they did not disappoint! They were cooked exactly to our specs and made with good quality beef. We cleaned our plates! The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the service is friendly. Kids are welcome, too! Be advised that it can get a little loud and sometimes conversation can be challenging. Also, the menu is pretty small - hence the docking of one star. read more

Went in for a meal and discovered that they were still offering the restaurant week menu so opted for 3 courses for $25. Chose the cauliflower soup as my app, country captain for the main (Slow Cooked Chicken, Spices, Jasmine Rice, Green Onions) and a tres leche coconut for desert. I agree on what a previous user said when they mentioned the cold breeze that hit certain spots of the room. While my review is solely based on the food I thought I should mention that I had a reservation and when we were seated we were seated at the table right in front of said breeze (table closest to hostess). Granted that there were only tables available I am not sure why we were seated at this location being that it was quite cold. We later asked to move but the point is why would you fill a table that is so close to the cold breeze when there was better seating options available. Back to the food: the soup was pretty creamy and tasty besides the fact that it was over salted. My friend who also got the same soup said the same thing (and this is coming from someone who likes salt!). The entree which I was looking forward to came out lukewarm and my friend who also choose this dish said their's was cold. I didn't find anything too special about this dish, the described slow cooked chicken didn't have meat melting in my mouth experience that I thought or even the chicken falling off from being cooked so long. Lastly the dessert which is only offered for restaurant week as told by our waiter, was decent. I only remember there being some mango puree, cream and coconut on the dish and that is what I can recall from the meal being that I had it 2 nights ago. Overall there wasn't anything special that will have me coming back here unless I have exhausted all the other food options Greenville has to offer which doesn't seem to be soon. read more

Where do I begin...1st the downstairs bartender was more interested in sneaking shots to himself then getting our drink order correct! He got it wrong 2 out of 3 times. 2nd bartender served me warm beer and when I pointed it out, he didn't want to exchange it...are you freaking kidding me! Then upstairs female bartender had one of the the nastiest attitudes that I have ever experienced. Food is only average and the floors look terrible. I will never set foot in that place while it is still nose dive. Carl better get a hold on this joint before it suffers the same fate as Restaurant O. Don't waste your time, there are too many great places to go in Greenville. There are also a lot more quality server's and bartender's in Greenville that will treat you with respect and class. I myself have worked in many restaurants and bars, and although it's been over 10 years since I have done so, I haven't forgot what it Is like to be on the other side. Poorly run, poor decor, mediocare food at best. Not a fan. read more

My Date & I could not decide on a place to grab a quick lunch and happened to find a parking spot in front of the Nose Dive. We have heard that Nose Dive started off in Greenville very well, but is declining. When we came in we were greeted warmly but sat at a tall table for 6 while there were much cooler places to sit in the main area. The floors are mismatched and the decor is confusing and run down. Our first impression wasn't that great and we were on the verge of going somewhere else when the greatest waiter came over. He was so informative, knew everything on tap backwards and forwards and took us through a great dining experience. My date got the Banh Mi, it was awesome, fresh and the layers of flavors were impressive. I got the Southern Style Tacos. The presentation of these 'Do It Yourself Tacos' was awesome. The pork a bit flavorless but everything on top made up for it. I'd definitely recommend this place, I just hope they clean up the interior a bit. read more

Food is middle of the road, but for the price I guess that what you get. Not many options for eating healthy, and didn't like that. Upstairs bartender's were atrocious! Behaved as if I were privileged to be in THEIR BAR ! Well they can have THEIR BAR and me and all my girlfriends will go elsewhere. The only time the female bartender's looked at us is when there was no one else to serve. Once the male bartenders realized we were married, then they became uninterested in serving us. I cant wait for that place to become something else because it is so convenient after a friends wedding or function at the Westin. Avoid avoid avoid! I will never return! read more

The Nose Dive is my favorite "go-to" for brunch, lunch, and dinner. When we have guests from out of town we always bring them to The Nose Dive. I have Celiac disease, and I have found the kitchen and wait staff at The Nose Dive to be wonderful about making sure my food prep is safe. They have a separate prep area for their vast gluten free offerings on the menu. They also have a dedicated fryer for fries and my favorite, GF Fish and Chips. It's nice to be able to eat out at a great restaurant and not feel like you are different. I feel like I'm just another regular diner at The Nose Dive... it keeps me coming back over and over again. read more

I recently visited Nosedive, and overall, it was one of my few option since I had my dog. The food was delicious flavorful and fresh, with some really unique options on the menu. I especially enjoyed the Mac and cheese with shrimp, which was cooked perfectly. However, the service could have been better. Some of the staff seemed a bit distant, and a few even had scowls on their faces, which made the atmosphere feel a little less welcoming. While the food definitely made up for it, a friendlier attitude from the staff would have made the experience even better. read more

Ah, Nose Dive. I go here weekly for one thing: the Gastropub Burger. I've never had to wait at lunch, the staff have gotten to know me, and the food, specifically the burger at least, is awesome. I know some people I know have said the food quality was iffy awhile back but since they've had new management and a new chef they have been experimenting with better food quality and ingredients and to me it's great. I used to go here for steak before they switched the menu up but since they removed it I haven't been for dinner. read more

Definitely some of the best fries I've ever had, but you know fries can be inconsistent so don't come at me if you had different! Partner got the roasted chicken (also good). I had done my research beforehand since I was on a time crunch and ordered the roast beef melt.. which came with fries and au jus that was amazing!! I added a side of steamed oysters.. perfection!! These came with horseradish, cocktail sauce, red wine vinegar and oil for dipping. I ended my meal with creme brûlée that was better than one's I've had in Paris. It was topped with a perfect layer of flamed sugar, fresh assortment of fruit in whipped creme + a tiny crown of mint. The creme brûlée had a hint of lemon, making it over the top delicious. Instead, I was directed to try the speakeasy, which turned into a bit of a goose chase trying to find it. As a guest staying at the hotel, I would have appreciated being treated with the same kindness and respect that I approached the interaction with. I had high hopes for Juniper, but the welcome set a tone that made the experience feel far less hospitable than expected. I hope the team considers how small moments of courtesy can shape a guest's entire impression.
