This is a cute lil spot, a hidden gem! The service is spectacular and the food is delicious!! You really can't go wrong! You want that authentic, home cooked meal - this is your place. You can tell every meal is cooked with love and intention ... hearing that the meat cooked for 8 hours... you know it's bomb. I've had regular meals like the skinny omelet, fries and homemade tortillas. Have also had the Albondigas and Verde Chilaquiles con Birria which were amazing!! Your can't go wrong here! Don't miss out

Wonderful Mexican restaurant! Nosotros Café is such a great little spot! The café de olla was delicious, and the fresh conchas were absolutely amazing soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The food overall was great and tasted fresh. The customer service was also amazing! Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and the service was fast. It's always nice to find a place where the food is delicious and the staff makes you feel welcome. Definitely a place I would recommend and come back to!

I've been here a few times now and my favorite thing is the jamaica. They make it in house and it's some of the best I've had. I enjoy the cafe de olla as well. If you get the chilequiles or enchiladas, get the green sauce instead of red. It's much better (in my opinion). I've tried both on one dish before and felt like the red ruined the meal completely so now I just stick with green. Other than those few pointers, the food and drinks have been great. It's a good brunch spot.

As a Yelp Elite, I usually try to keep an open mind and judge a place based on my own experience rather than hype -- but I'll be honest, I came in with pretty high expectations after seeing how highly recommended this spot is on Yelp. Unfortunately, after dining here, I walked away feeling a bit underwhelmed. Let me start with the positives. The service was genuinely nice and friendly. Staff were welcoming, polite, and attentive, and that definitely counts for something. You can tell they care about customer interaction, and that's appreciated. That said, the food came out extremely fast -- almost suspiciously fast -- and that's where things started to fall apart. Several items arrived lukewarm, which immediately raised questions about freshness and preparation. When dishes come out that quickly and aren't hot, it gives the impression that food may be sitting or pre-prepared rather than cooked to order. Temperature matters, especially for dishes that rely on warmth to bring flavors together, and unfortunately it took away from the overall experience. Flavor-wise, nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. Everything tasted safe and familiar, not elevated or memorable. Given the strong Yelp recommendations, I was expecting more depth, brighter flavors, and better execution. Instead, the food felt average -- fine, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. Another factor worth mentioning is the exterior of the establishment. First impressions matter, and the outside is a bit rough around the edges. It doesn't reflect the experience or quality that's being marketed online, and it sets expectations lower before you even walk in. A cleaner, more inviting exterior would go a long way. Overall, this place isn't bad -- it's solid, and the friendly service helps -- but it didn't live up to the hype for me. I'm glad I tried it, but based on my visit, I wouldn't consider it one of the stronger options in the area. With hotter food, more consistency, and a bit more attention to execution and presentation, this place has potential to improve.

I have been coming since they opened in 2022. Loved the family feeling you get once you walk in. Everyone is so friendly. You do not get treated like a customer but a long lost family member. The food is top notch. You can taste how much the love to cook and care about their work. If you come you you MUST try the cafe de olla!!!!

A large bone in my menudo that took all the space for soup.

I usually love their menudo but this will be the last time i eat there. The customer service was rude and when i got home i had a large bone in my soup which took up majority of the space. The amount of soup i got was not even half of the container.

Overpriced and I know what isn't nowadays! For what was served this IS overpriced

Loving this small family business Located on the 10 freeway city of banning !! I ordered the tamale plate which came with tamale of your choice with the Chile Verde sauce on top rice and beans. O Boy was it deliciously flavorful. I also enjoyed a cup of café de Olla, which is always made fresh daily just like my grandma used to make. Posole Menudo and Albondigas are several soup dishes that are offered, I would make sure to call ahead and see which soups are available. Big shout out to Maria for being sweet enough to deliver to me. Also they are starting to open for dinner on some days so be to check them out!

We had a good brunch at Nosotros Cafe. The food overall was really good, and the egg, bacon and sausage burrito was definitely the highlight. The chilaquiles were tasty, though not particularly memorable. What I really loved was the menu itself lots of traditional Mexican breakfast options which I loved. One downside was the lack of kids menu choices. We had to order a full French toast meal for a child, which was over $17 a bit steep. For a small burrito, a chilaquiles plate, a French toast meal, a latte and 2 orange juices it was a bit over $75. Inside the location is clean and they play good music.

Friendly staff! Delicious cafe de olla that comes hot or iced, amazing! No need to add or make any changes, the recipe is perfect. Countless baked goods to choose from. They have a variety of food choices to sit down and enjoy. They had the World Cup game playing during our visit.

After running a few errands in the morning, we suddenly had a craving for tamales after passing a woman selling them on the corner. That immediately made us think of Edyth and Nosotros Café. We had never tried their tamales before, but I'm so glad we did--they did not disappoint! We ordered the half dozen tamales with two each of the chicken, pork, and cheese & jalapeño, with verde salsa and salsa macha. The tamales were HUGE--super tasty and very filling. We also ordered the Cookie Butter Latte with oat milk, and honestly, it was one of the best lattes I've had in a long time. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and Edyth and Maria were incredibly attentive, making sure our visit was a great one from start to finish. We can't wait to return soon!

We tried this place because it had really good reviews but after visiting, we won't be going back. We ordered a half a dozen of tamales and they were really cold and dry. They were not good at all. Our drinks had more ice than anything, and the cup was too small for the price. We also felt the servers were "too pushy" and kept offering to order other things on the menu instead of being more pleasant. She even asked us to leave a review to support their women owned business. There's a difference between good service and pushing customers into consuming more. I don't mind paying a lot if the drinks or food are amazing, but in this cafe I saw it as an overpriced restaurant that is not worth it, and the owners trying to get you to order more. Food and drink items were pretty pricey for the quality. Save your money and get your tamales and coffee elsewhere. read more

Came here for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The food was honestly amazing -- I ordered the chilaquiles with birria added and it was packed with flavor, definitely a must-try. This place is very welcoming, the staff greets you as soon as you walk in. Tamales are made fresh everyday and you can tell. Found this gem on our way down to Temecula...this is a spot not to miss. Women owned cafe with delicious food. We started off with the café de la olla and a fresh concha. The coffee was perfection and the soft pillowy concha hit the spot before breakfast. The burrito was delicious with the salsa. Wait staff is super friendly and has great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable with booths along the side and tables down the middle to accommodate all sorts of groups. We will definitely be back to try more delicious food. read more

Salsa Verde made the food inedible, and I like spice! Also, customer service was not very good. Table got a glass of water that had a shard of glass in it. Friend cut his finger pulling it out of his mouth. Decent amount of blood. Waiter froze and didn't know what to do. The manager came over and we let them know. Her response? "Do you want me to call an ambulance?" Who ordered the sass? what the hell?! We had to ask them for a bandaid. They made no attempt to make it right. My friend was too polite to cause a fuss. They couldn't even give a free meal to accommodate? Cheap. read more

I've heard so many good things about Nosotros Cafe. I follow them on Instagram I finally got the opportunity to come in person. As you come in all the staff and owner are friendly and inviting. Restaurant is clean and menu has a little something for everyone. My husband had the pozole and it was delicious, the development of the flavors was on point. Cafe de olla hit the spot and comes in a cute artesanal mug. ( not to keep ) . We also had the pork tamal which was served with a nice helping of green salsa, park was moist and full of flavor , no skimpy on the meat . I had a craving for chilaquiles with red sauce. Red sauce was perfect ! , not spicy just a little kick , chilaquiles were served with bean ( no eggs per my request ) and well seasoned thin slices potatoes . Everything hit the spot! Brought my family here for the first time because I had their food in the past and it was great. Unfortunately, they served my whole family their food and forgot to serve me my order. Me and a friend went to this restaurant last week and we paid separate checks with separate credit cards. The next day when I checked my card balance online I saw that I was charged twice for my 1 meal. The food was not good either. Two very dry Tamales and very small portion of rice and beans. The server was very slow also. If you don't know how to process credit cards why do you take them? We should have realized it wasn't good when we saw how empty it was, we were the only customers. I'm definitely not going back and I will warn other people about this place. read more

Our first time here, the moment we got there staff looked irritated because we were a slightly bigger party of 7. We are new to the community so we picked somewhere family owned and not a chain to support the community. The waitress was very rude and would cut us off while we were asking questions, she would ask us if we needed anything and we would let her know what we needed and then would never bring it to us. They do not give refills on cafe de olla and food was very basic. We are never coming here again. read more

I absolutely love this place! We stumbled upon it while house hunting out in Beaumont/banning area. We were starving and I needed coffee and this place popped up on yelp so we gave it a try. They treat you like family when you walk in, so warm and welcoming and kind. The inside is cute and they have a bakery section in the front with the freshly baked conchas etc. the cafe de olla is so delicious, you don't need to add creamer or anything to it. And the food is good and they give you generous portions. I go in whenever I can and would definitely recommend it! read more

I stopped in with my dad while driving from LA to Arizona. I had the concha french toast and my dad had the chorizo breakfast burrito. Both were amazing! They make their salsa in house. It was spicy and flavorful. I asked for some tortillas on the side to sop up all the egg and salsa. They brought out a fresh tortilla, made in house as well. Their coffee is also incredible. The cafe de olla was flavorful and the mocha was just the right amount of sweet. My dad loved the mocha so much he had three--yes, THREE-- cups. We ended our meal with a variety of fresh conchas to go. Contrary to other reviews, I don't think it's in bad taste at all to ask for reviews and to spread the word. Closed mouths don't get fed. These women are hustling and I'm so happy to support their business! read more

My cousins and I have been coming to this place for almost a year and it's consistently great service & hospitality. It's not a dinner place since it closes at 2pm but I definitely suggest coming here for an early lunch and grabbing the Chicken Tacos Dorados (crispy chicken tacos). The food,as we describe it, is "tastes like grandmas" with its authentic spices, method and presentation. The inside is very cute, but could use a little improvement like consistent decor complimentary with the seasons and holidays, but other than that, if you're coming for authentic meals that takes you back to grandmas kitchen, matching the warm hospitality, then you should for sure stop by here. read more

The people working there were so friendly and genuine and the food tasted like delicious dishes from my childhood. They have the best cafe de olla and their birria chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and tamales were super tasty. And a must is trying their fresh made conchas and four tortillas ‍. Stopped by Nosotros Café this morning with my daughter for tamales, and what a wonderful experience! We've attended business functions here before but had never visited as restaurant patrons - and we're so glad we finally did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile by Edyth, and Maria graciously took our order and made us feel immediately welcome. We ordered two of each tamale--chicken, jalapeño & cheese, and pork--along with cookie butter lattes . The tamales were HUGE and absolutely delicious . We fully intended to take some home, but they were so good we couldn't put our forks down and ended up finishing every last bite. The cookie butter lattes were flavorful and the perfect complement to the meal . To top it off, Maria brought out a homemade salsa macha that paired beautifully with the tamales - such a thoughtful and tasty touch. Edyth even took time to chat with us, making us feel less like customers and more like welcomed guests . That kind of personal warmth is rare and truly appreciated. First the staff welcomes you to the Nosotros Café and there is a genuine smile behind the greeting. Multiple staff members check on you while you are dining and very fast with your request. So friendly. The café de la olla has a perfect sweetness. My son had a very affordable kids pancake combo and the portion was beyond kid size. They were fluffy and tasted great without syrup. My daughter had the Concha French toast which she was expecting to be dry however she was fooled as they were moist not overly sweet and tasted like heaven. My chiliquiles Verde was spicy, not hot, espiiicy...which didn't affect the great taste at all as I devoured them. Last but not least, the potatoes are thinly cut and seasoned better than any home fries ive ever tasted. Ive also had the menudo and posole and they taste very delicious homemade close to how my granny made them and the give u all the fixins to make it to your taste. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was amazing. I ordered the nosotros torta with carne asada and the size of it was definitely not what I expected! My bf got the red chilaquiles and they were perfectly sauced and crispy! Not too spicy either. The serving sizes were definitely worth the price. I would have completely missed that this little gem of a hug and deliciousness was in the Harbor Freight/Cardenas shopping center had I not seen a post on Nextdoor. I knew I wanted to go and had the chance when my best friend was in town and wanted something breakfast like. Wow! This was such a pleasant surprise. My niece and her baby stopped by Nosotros on a very special day! I myself am not a breakfast nor coffee person. But oh dear! My grandnephew had a hot chocolate, my niece a cappuccino and I ordered a pumpkin latte. Even I was surprised by how much we loved the full experience. We even took some dessert to go! It's a family-owned sandwich shop located on a small corner lot; has a few chairs inside, but it's mainly a pick up and go establishment, which is fine by me. The owners Ben and Diana are very kind and sweet. They opened it about 24 years ago, which to me says a lot about them and their sandwiches.
