Arrived for lunch and sat for lunch for my first time. Ordered the beef brisket bowl of pho. Service was pretty fast, ambiance was ok. The bowl arrived promptly on a metal tray with one soup broth spoon (nothing else). I asked for toppings and a fork, was told to get it myself from the table next to the cashier. I proceeded to get my fork, Sriracha and lime (no jalapeños for me). This table was missing Vietnamese Basil, fresh mint, or cilantro, something all other Vietnamese restaurants serve with Pho. I did find bean sprouts at the bottom of the bowl, cooked (not crunchy like we ate all used to). So this was a weird pho bowl, it wasn't pricey ($11 dollars), but it lacked meat or flavor. Came here for some pho. My bf ordered pho, a vermicelli bowl, and two pork spring rolls. We waited probably more than 30 mins since there were so many orders backed up. While we waited inside though, it was so hot and they just had the ceiling fans on. I'm glad we chose take out. My vermicelli was actually pretty good. One of the best I've had after pouring the sauce on top. It tasted fresh and was filling even though the portion is smaller than what I'm used to, but then again it was only $11, which wasn't bad. My bf enjoyed his pho and had me taste the broth, which was very flavorful. The spring rolls with the peanut sauce was a great addition to our meal, so I suggest getting that. I've been here quite a few times and I always get the chicken, pork, or combination fried rice. I've tried the spring rolls once and they were great but still had that fried rice. I've wanted to try the banh mi since theyopened and I finally decided today was the day. Went to the website to order, no banh mi. I was so sad. So I decided to try something else and went with the spicy beef noodle soup with rare steak, and I got plain pho broth for later. Holy. Smokes. Their broth is insane. The flavor, I've never had a noodle soup or pho with that kind of depth before. Absolutely excellent, just look at the color in the spicy beef broth, and the pho is just as complex. They had to have cooked these all day. I'm still sad I can't get a banh mi, but I'm so happy I tried their soups. I won't ever be able to go back to the fried rice. The pho was good, they didn't have lime slices though which made me sad. The ambiance is kind of sub par. The tables are tightly pushed together. There's no sauce on the tables you have to request it. Service was fine but a bit slow. The bubble tea was tasty which I enjoyed though. Over all not bad. read more

To start, the service here is amazing! The staff is so nice but above all the food is amazing. I got the vegetarian pho and though most broths I have tend to be flavorless, this broth was so flavorful. The vegetables soaked up all the flavor, making for a fantastic soup. Not pictured I also got the vegetarian spring rolls that were so crunchy, i'm extremely satisfied! The store itself is also so cozy, it's nice to just sit and listen to the music while eating. This is a simple little spot, very very casual with a menu that has pho, vermicelli bowls, spring and egg rolls, beef noodle soup, fried rice, broken rice, banh mi sandwiches, and milk tea. I debated between the rare steak pho and the vegetarian pho, and the steak won for me, I had to taste their house-made pho beef broth! Of course it comes with the steak and all the traditional goodies: rice noodles, red onion, green onion, bean sprouts, cilantro, lots of basil, and pepper. The fragrant broth has a little heat that clears your sinuses, and it smells so incredible and feels even better to eat! When I walked in it wasn't fully understood how to order if you wanted to dine in. They ended up telling people just to sit where they like. It would've been nice to see a sign. I placed my order and the wait wasn't super long and I waited at a table in the corner. The place looked nice and clean. When I got my food I took a quick taste test so I can have it warm before I leave. I can say the food was good but not great. The sandwich was the best part but it was only about 4 stars. This was one of the best bowls of chicken pho I've ever had. The broth was so good and the chicken was tasty. They didn't take any shortcuts so I would highly recommend. I also had steamed dumplings and they were also very delicious. They are huge, so keep that in mind. My dad had the dumpling soup and finished off his entire bowl, broth included! I travel to this area from Dallas each week and this is a regular favorite. Everything I have eaten as this husband and wife run restaurant has been delicious. The Pho is great as is the vermicelli bowl and banh mi. They have wonderful teas. I go with the matcha late with boba. Check it out the next time you are in the mid-cities. read more

I got takeout here and loved it. Everything was made quickly and packed up really nicely. The prices are good and the people were friendly as well. All of the food was cooked so perfectly and with fresh ingredients. The crab rangoon was yummy and had lots of filling. The veggie eggrolls and chicken eggrolls were plump and crispy. I was really underwhelmed by this pho restaurant. There is 1 type of pho on the menu and the rest are variations and then rice dishes. I feel like this place should be called 'Vietnamese and 1 pho'. I was slightly disappointed right off the bat because their website says they have fish cake bahn mi. When I tried ordering one they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. They asked the kitchen if they could make fish cake bahn mi and they said no. I really wish businesses did a better job of updating their websites when changes are made. Besides that small hiccup, everything was excellent. It was my first time having bahn mi so I have no real point of reference, but everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I think the only thing that would have made the sandwich better is some good hot sauce, hot pepper, or chipotle aioli (yes I am aware that would be gentrification but I am positive it would also be delicious). 5 stars! They have multiple kid's meals options now. Their fried rice is absolutely to die for (there's even fresh dill on the shrimp), AND they have boba milk tea selections! They also have fruity teas, coffee, and lemonade. This was sorely needed in the mid-cities. It's the only take out my husband and I both agree on (there's a bunch of "meh" Chinese and Viet food around here). Since this spot caters to a more western crowd they don't have things like tripe or the tendons that are normally available. Not that I eat those things but made sense for how the broth tasted. I'm still in search for the Pho broth of my preference in Arlington area and this was just another okay spot, just was missing some extra flavors that I'm used to. Broth was on the lighter end of flavors and their chili oil was homemade & really good, different than the normal chili oil but in a good way. Ended up chatting with a guy (Asian) that frequents that spot and his reason for this place being his regular spot was for the Bun Bo Hue, which he said was amazing and the best he found in the area but because they didn't have it that day he went with the noodle salad. It comes already prepared with bean sprouts, fresh basil, chopped green onions, cilantro, red onion, and the best rare steak I've had in a bowl of pho. The fried rice is a close 2nd. The hostess informed you of their menu items and offered assistance. Step up to the counter and place your order. Not a long wait for the food either. I ordered Pho with chicken and steak spring rolls. I had a strawberry lemonade. Your food is displayed on a silver metal tray with a hefty size and helping of Pho. The manager greeted you at the table to check in to see how well your food and service was. This was a nice touch. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We live in the neighborhood so we've stopped by to eat a couple of times before. I love the banh mi but was definitely in a pho mood today which was good because they were unable to make banh mi today due to a problem with the oven. Why pho? It's January, cold, wet, and dreary. I needed something warm, homey, and soothing. The rare steak pho took a little while to come out but it was well worth the wait. It came with lime and jalapeno slices. I didn't the jalapeno but the lime was perfect to set it off. The bowl is huge! I couldn't eat it all so I was able to bring some home for later. We ate in. COVID precautions have the restaurant at half capacity. The staff was busy trying to clean up between customers. Again, it's totally worth it. Everything I've ever had here is fresh. My son liked it the first time and like a month later asked for it by name. I ordered take out and this time I ordered my spring rolls. They were good except for the fact they put mint leaves in their rolls. I really hate the taste of it and even taking these leaves off, it still leaves that strong taste/smell behind. How about asking the customer if they want mint leaves or whatever type of leaf this is, in there instead of just putting in there without asking or telling the customer it would have it.
