For my birthday all I wanted was nothing bundt cakes. So I stacked up on some classic and new flavors. For the first time, I tried the peach cobbler cake and it was fabulous. It's sweet but not overbearing. I also tried the white chocolate raspberry for the first time, and that is another one that will be in my rotation.

Came here on a Friday night and happy to see they have gluten free options! I chose the chocolate chip flavor. The cake is more dense than the regular cake but the taste is still very good! I enjoyed it a lot and so glad they have gluten free options now!

The new limited edition, banana pudding Bundt cake is one of the best Bundt cakes we've had so far. I usually stop by here when I'm in the area. There is a parking lot and staff is friendly.

I picked up the cake I ordered for my wife's birthday today. The side of the cake was cut (see picture). We had to double check if there was a bite on the cake since there was a cut. It was awful and embarrassing to my guests. Unfortunately, we didn't see it until we were ready to put the candle on the cake. We have been a loyal customer of Nothing Bundt Cake for many years starting from their old location. Never again. Very disappointing.

Nothing Bundt cakes are always yummy!! It is great that they always have a lot of cakes available so it makes a quick pick up easy! The cream cheese frosting is my favorite because it is not too sweet but it is delicious. Prices are good for a large bundt cake in terms of what the grocery store cakes are as well. Can't go wrong with any flavor!

Cake pricing

It's disappointing that many of these independent businesses have evolved into a simply outrageous cost v benefit proposition. $46 for a simple 8" Bundt cake? A few years ago it was $36 and even then it was questionable value for that pricepoint. Now, if that weren't enough, they expect you to pay an extra service charge to help pay for their technology??? Really? That was a hard NO for me. I exited out of my order and went to Whole Foods where you can still get a great quality chocolate cake for $37.99. Unfortunate because NBC used to have something special. Now I feel they are doomed like many other retail businesses. Lose the service charge!!!! You charge $46 for a simple basic cake!!!!! Isn't that enough???? Apparently not.

Nothing Bundt Cakes delivered for SPARC (formerly Livermore Shakespeare Company) fundraiser a beautiful red velvet cake, that was highly sought after during the dessert auction. We greatly appreciate the donation, which was a part of our success that night.

Half a Bundt cake at full price

Absolutely pathetic! Doesn't even half fill the container. You should be ashamed of your product quality and go back to making proper Bundt cakes. Not a bustle, this is a pathetic Bundt cake. Everyone knows and nobody speaks up?! Come on...

Was gifted a cake and it was so fresh. Many have tried their cupcakes at parties and all the flavors but there's nothing better than a huge cake. Due to excitement, slices were taken before the photo attempt. This was the mint flavor and it was pretty strong yet still tasty with the frosting. Staff are nice and you can order online with plenty of locations around the bay. The stores are clean and well decorated and they also deliver. Would recommend for parties or a fun celebration!

Aside from superb service, we enjoyed the carrot and lemon bundtlets! We loved this location for easy and convenient trip from our house.

This Nothing Bundt Cakes store is my go to for any and all of our bundlet cakes. It's tradition for our 'ohana and now expected by the hubz and our girls to have a Nothing Bundt Cakes for their birthdays. Our favorites are red velvet and confetti. We like lemon too. Their cakes are very moist and not too sweet. Also, we all love the frosting. Yummy. When we go to any family parties and they have bundtinis, my girls are excited. Normally, they won't eat any birthday cake at parties unless it's a bundtini. Omg and lol.

Flavors: red velvet, lemon, white chocolate raspberry, Oreo (special flavor)

Ask the Community - Nothing Bundt Cakes

Do they only accept birthday orders the day of or can we call a day in advance?

We like where your head's at! A plan for cake is a plan for success! We recommend that you contact your local bakery for more information on ordering. Bakery contact info can be found here: www.nothingbundtcakes.com/bakeries - Nothing Bundt Cakes…

Do they offer any Gluten Free items?

Yes we tried a white cake with chocolate chips. It was good and couldn't taste any difference with the regular bundt cakes.

I love coming here for a kinako kakigori, both the food and the service is refreshing and calming…read more Kamurocho is a small shop and the ambiance reminds me of small town shops in Japan. They sell a ham & cheese croissant, coffees, teas, lattes, and four flavors of Japanese shaved ice called kakigori, which is the star of the show. The texture of this shaved ice is like fluffy cool softness that melts in your mouth. It is different than the traditional shaved ice and it is far from a snow cone. We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait! There is a small parking lot right in front shared with other businesses. Located right off the freeway behind Burger King.

Boba Bliss has a great selection, prices are still reasonable, and the boba are tasty and perfectly chewy every time. They use the sealing lids but their lids feel papery so they're easy to shove the straw in. I don't know if it's always that crowded, but I've noticed lots of people between 3:00-4:30. The wait isn't crazy long though. And those five or six young people working back there are hustling. You order from the kiosk to the right of the register. Would be nice if they had more than one kiosk but the place is small. A few small tables along the walls, nothing you'd really park and hang out at.

Optimistically, I'd like to think it was more due to the latter, but regardless of the reason, we knew immediately we needed a cold sweet treat to cool ourselves off. Or, more specifically, a short walk across the parking lot to get some Somisomi! Much like all of their other locations that I've been to, this Somisomi is pretty minimal in nearly every way - from their design and decor to their menu. However, the latter, in particular, works for them, keeping things simple and helping them get orders out quickly. Plus, it's not like their menu is short on options - from their ahboong and upside ahboong, to their soft serve and taiyaki, to their milk drinks, cold brew, and cold brew float, they have a great selection to choose from. Not to mention how their variety of flavors of soft serve, taiyaki, and toppings allows for a dozens of ways for you to customize your order! While I already had an idea of what I wanted to get before we stepped inside, it didn't take me long to decide on their flavor once I saw their featured flavor. For my UPSIDE DOWN AHBOONG ($7.95), I opted to get their Cookies 'n Cream & Milk Tea Swirl with a Red Bean Taiyaki and Crushed Biscoff Crumbles. Sadly, this wasn't quite as awesome as I had hoped for, but this was still pretty good. Mostly, the taste of the milk tea in the swirl was hard to notice, but I did think the cookies 'n cream side of it was great. As before, though, the highlight of me was the taiyaki (with the swirl in it), as the red bean filling was delicious and I loved the batter - slightly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Despite how there was a small crowd ahead of when we got in line, it seemed like it only took a few minutes before all of our orders were ready. What's more, the workers here were all super friendly, which is impressive given how they're just constantly churning out orders one after another for hours on end. Considering how I'm so late to the Somisomi party, I'm sure there may still be some novelty to coming here for me, but it doesn't change the fact that I still thoroughly enjoyed my order. What's more, I don't know what the other dessert options are around Pleasanton, but I imagine there aren't many others that are also open so relatively late (open until 10:30pm on Fridays and weekends). If nothing else, this is a great place to head to for some sweet cool relief from the heat! Or the Chubby Cattle meat sweats...
