I've been to other Nothing Bundt Cakes in other cities, and I think service and product is pretty consistent across all the stores. The decor is very cutesy and neat in all the stores, and this one was no different. There's no seating inside, so it's definitely a buy-and-go place. I adore the different samples they have each day, and I think it's a great strategy to let customers try a bite of deliciousness before purchasing. Out of all the flavors, I think my favorite would have to be the chocolate chocolate chip. I believe it's gluten-free, which amazes me because I wouldn't imagine something gluten-free could taste so moist and good, even to the point of surpassing the other flavors that aren't gluten-free. The chocolate isn't too sweet and it's incredibly rich and satisfying, and the chocolate chips scattered throughout are exactly the right amount; not too much, not too little. I'm a huge fan of this bundlet, and it's my go-to guilty pleasure. The red velvet and cinnamon swirl are good as well, but I don't think they compare to the chocolate chocolate chip. The red velvet is a little less moist than the chocolate chocolate chip, and the I think the cream cheese frosting on top tastes a little off to me. I'm not sure if it's a little too sour or too sweet, but I know the general balance and combination doesn't appeal to me as much as the frosting on top of the chocolate chocolate chip. The cinnamon swirl is good, and it tastes like a cinnamon bun in cake form, but it's just a personal preference that I prefer cinnamon rolls in roll form. This particular store is located on the ground floor of an apartment complex, which sounds a little strange upon first impression, but there are a lot of stores located on the ground floor of said complex, so it's almost like a small community. There are 2-hour commercial parking spots within the complex, which is a convenient perk when shopping here. There are coffee shops and restaurants nearby as well, so Nothing Bundt Cakes is the perfect place to grab some dessert or espresso-accompaniment. I do wish they had some seating, but the product itself is good enough to keep me coming back regardless. read more

Everyone loves this place. If you have a birthday to celebrate, I recommend the bundtinis (the small ones that look like cupcakes) so you don't have to deal with the hassle of cutting the cake, plates, etc. And they have prepackaged buntinis in 3 flavors. If you get the mini cakes, then make sure they stack them right or package them in SEPARATE bags. While their cakes are delicious I am extremely disappointed with their handling of online orders. I waited in line with 3 in front of me, while a guy behind me smartly called and said he was doing "curbside pickup". He basically cut ahead of those of us waiting in line and got his order immediately. When I asked the gal who brought out his order if I could do the same she said no you have to wait. I asked how is it different than calling like the guy behind me? and she encouraged me to do so. She then answered the phone and immediately said there are three people ahead of you and put me right on hold. First time was when they were in another area of Dublin, but overall this place is a very solid place to get some cakes for that special occasion. Great cakes, absolutely horrible organization for their prepaid customers, you know the ones that already gave them money. Had a pick up time of 3pm. Got there at 3 and stood in line as was directed by the store staff to wait for an hour while multiple people drove up, called and had their order delivered to the car. So why tell some to stay in cars and the other get out, stand online and wait. All for supporting local business in this time, but come on, have it run like a business and not by a bunch of inexperienced people that can't get it together even if given the instructions written down. A bundt cake is not something you usually think of as a birthday cake, but it was perfect as one for a friend. It's more moist, dense, and less sweet than a regular sheet cake and contains less frosting, so it was great for a friend who dislikes things that have too much sugar. The frosting doesn't cover the entire bundt cake. The cream cheese frosting is the best! I've tried both the lemon and red velvet and the flavor is very good and they're not heavy at all. Worst customer experience ever! My wife placed an order for a cake for Christmas Eve and by the time we got there the store was closed; this was 20 minutes before the time on yelp said it closed. If they were closing early and our cake was there there should have at least been a courtesy call to let us know that they were closing early and needed to pick up the cake before closing for the next two days, especially since they were closed for the next two days. When I called, the manager told me that they automatically dump the cakes after two days and they were to busy to give courtesy calls to everyone. Instead of offering a refund or replacing the goods I paid for, she told me she could remake the cake but I'd have to pay for it. This was the worst service we ever received from this franchise and will spread the word of how we were treated and robbed from our money since an exchange of goods for my payment never took place. It's easiest to place an order online but easy to walk in an order while you're there. Pre-Covid they had samples for guests to try but considering recent health concerns this is no longer available. With shelter-in-place they have tried to enforce social distancing within the store itself, however I'd recommend avoiding this place on major holidays (Mother's Day, Father's Day etc) because lines get long. I came into this location and ordered an 8" Bundt cake, telling the person that works there that this is for daughter's 16th birthday for today. We purchased the red velvet and had it decorated in bday theme and selected our colors. I asked the lady if I can pick it up later, which she asked by what time. I've been heard of this place and there's even one in my hometown of Sacramento but I have never tried it. To be honest, at first glance, they don't look as good as they taste. They actually look dry. I decided to try this place out since I can't seem to find a decent cake place around here and everyone loves this place. All those princess cakes I have tried in the bay area doesn't compare to Ettore's princess cake in Sacramento. I bought bunch of little bundtlets (I think that's what they called) of variety flavors and the one that stood out the most was the white chocolate raspberry one. That one is AMAZING. I LOVE IT. It's so good and the cream cheese frosting on everyone makes everything so good! I was such a big fan, I decided to buy a large cake for Christmas. I phoned in my order ahead of time to pick up on Christmas eve (they aren't open on Christmas day, always check the hours if you want to pick up a delicious cake for the holiday!!). All the guests at the party also love the cake. I am a big fan of the white chocolate raspberry, it's so good. One bite and you're in heaven. I found it to be relatively busier on Christmas eve, not that it was crazy busy but there was a small constant 1-3 people line but it kept moving. I think if you come on a weekday or off day, you might be the only person there or maybe one or two people ahead of. Sometimes, they have samples too so you can check it out. I had the opportunity to sample red velvet but deep in my heart, I think the white chocolate raspberry will always be my favorite. Aside from that, customer service here is decent. Nothing out of the ordinary. Parking is easy, lots of parking. I don't think the cakes are super cheap or anything but if you enjoy it, I think it's worth the price. This thanksgiving I brought a pumpkin cake topped with a burgundy silk flower. It was beautiful and a crowd pleaser for sure. For December the seasonal flavor is chocolate peppermint. Overall I paid close to $25 for an 8" cake. The service at this location is always great. The location is right next to the main freeway entrance in a small strip mall. The women are always very helpful and kind. They always accommodate my decoration requests and always have the flavors and size in stock and made that I need. My favorite flavors include pumpkin (seasonal), white chocolate raspberry, lemon, cinnamon swirl. My least favorite are the chocolate and red velvet.
