Okay, we got out of the movies, had a slice of pizza and now we have to head to moms for dinner. There were two employees and five customers. We were greeted rather quickly with friendly smiles and the days samples were pointed out for us to try while we waited. The shop is small and extremely clean. We perused the displays and ordered one dozen of the Bundtinis assorted. We were asked if a pre-packaged box of their 4 most popular flavors would be okay. Really much better than expected. We got a coupon in the mail and decided to give this place a try. Just as a change of pace. They have a container with bite-sized samples to the left of the entrance. The employees are friendly and we were surprised at how popular this place is. The cake itself is very moist and soft. The crumb is so tender that there's no way you could achieve that at home and have it stay that way. Being a baker myself, I immediately thought of artificial cake enhancers. But only for a second. The flavors and the cream cheese frosting took my mind off of it. We tried several flavors. The white chocolate raspberry was delicious. The lemon was a favorite. The chocolate peanut butter was as expected. Chocolate chocolate-chip was also good. Pecan was tasty...liked the crunchy pecan toppings. Nothing Bundt Cake is a hidden gem. They need a large sign to show they are in the new shopping center since most of it is still empty. There were 2 employees there (one might have been the owner) and they were very nice. They showed me their baby shower bundt and reminded me to try a sample. For our family's Christmas Eve dinner, we finished off the night with a cake from "Nothing Bundt Cakes" and I loved it! I have never heard of this store before but my sister has tried a cake from here a while back. As soon as we stepped in the door, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who told us about the pumpkin chocolate chip sample they had by the door. The chocolate chips in the cake thankfully did not overpower the pumpkin which was fantastic. The best part was that the cake was super moist still, and the frosting was not too sweet. Between the 8" and 10" we couldn't quite decide which size to get for 10-11 people. We asked the staff members and she kindly told us that the 8" would serve 8-10 people generously and she was right! We had an 8" for 11 and it was perfect. We ended up taking the Red Velvet cake home and everyone loved how moist the cake was. So glad we will not be passing by on a whim anymore, because if i missed this place I would never forgive my bundt loving self. First off, the service is grand.
