You can't go wrong with a nothing bundt cake. I recently picked up a cake and two bundtlets for my brother's birthday and it was decorated so well and exactly the way as described over the phone. The woman who took my order over the phone for pickup the next day was very friendly and helpful when trying to decide which cake to purchase as well as the decor. The cakes are always so delicious (my favorite is the red velvet). Some family members prefer the cake only (without the frosting) but to each their own... it may be worth making an option without frosting since the cake itself is fantastic. I called this place for the first time yesterday and I spoke to a really kind associate Sarah. She took my order over the phone and made it super easy to accommodate me. I was able to order and pick up in the same day! Perfect for someone who does things last minute. As soon as I arrived, the place is smaller- but super cute and intimate. They sell all kinds of Nick-nacks, small and cute holiday/celebration gifts. If you need a last minute gift, they offer that. Also, they sell candles and numbers to put on the top of any dessert purchased. I ended up getting the 8 inch- it's the smallest cake they have. It still is a big size with plenty to share. They was 5 people I served, but there was still more than half left. I would say it serves 8-10 people... generous sizes too. I got the signature frosting and the chocolate chocolate chip cake. Omggggg! I suggest it!!! Especially if you likE chocolate- wow! It was literally blow your mind. This cake wAs phenomenal. I would probably eat the whole cake if I could tolerate the bread. It is super yummy! My whole family was so pleased. And the presentation was gorgeous! I really didn't pay that much and it was really beautiful! The young girl (shift lead) that was there Friday October 28th around 3:30pm straight lied to my face. I had asked the other girl who was very nice if they can please frost me one of their frozen cales as I was driving out of town and didn't want it to melt. She asked this shift lead and she came and told me they don't freeze their cakes. I informed her that I was the baker previously at a different location so I know they freeze their cakes. She continued to tell me that they don't at this location and they are all different. BS. They are a very strict corporation and all stores have to be exactly the same. Customer service is completely lacking. If they can't sell their frozen cakes just tell me you are not allowed to, don't blatantly lie to my face. The cakes here are absolutely delicious. Probably the best tasting cakes and frosting I've ever had in my life. Customer service is average, nothing special but it gets the job done. Decor and theme inside is cute. However, I have two major complaints. First off, the store hours are absolutely crazy. Closing at 6 pm Monday-Saturday and 4pm on Sunday?! I always get so disappointed when I am craving bundt cake after dinner and nothing Bundt cakes is closed. Hours should be open later because it is a dessert place, not a breakfast place. Opening at 9 and 10am is completely unnecessary, but closing late should be a requirement. Also, I get so annoyed because this location has no utensils or napkins and I usually want to eat in the car or outside with friends. I usually end up having to go to the cold stone next door and beg for a spoon. PLEASE start carrying forks and napkins. read more

Yes, Nothing Bundt Cakes is a luxe-style chain, but I like their cakes and will do what I can to buy them when I can, because everyone who tries them loves them! The frosting is so delicious, and the cake is always perfectly dense and moist. Every bite feels decadent, and give any special occasion a reason to be remembered. They can be pre-ordered, and I like that the store has other items that might be useful for a celebration, such as cards and candles and other items like that, too. My friend and I went in with our free promotional Mother's Day offers and were pleasantly surprised at how super duper sweet the employees were. I ordered two bundt cakes from here. The mocha and the lemon flavors were excellent. The cake is so moist and melts in your mouth. They are not dry at all. I am very pleased. The cakes aren't fancy or anything but they are cute and you know the cake will be moist and flavorful. A lot of cupcake and cake places seem to be more about the appearance than the taste. I had a nice run here, getting all the birthday cakes, mother's day, Father's day etc. The last two visits have been enough to make me say "never again". Last time, I called to hold a cake just to find out when I arrived that "they don't do that" and I had to wait 20 minutes. This time they switched out the seasonal flavors and wouldn't give me the chance to sample before buying it. Apparently they have no way to sell 1 2" bite size Bundt. So my options were $5 for a personal size, $21 for a dozen 2" cakes or just take my chances. The staff is sugary sweet but ultimately COMPLETELY unhelpful and UNWILLING to help. So I'm done with this place. I'm sure I can find another place to spend money on desserts. 2 stars because the cakes are quite good. I've been here a few times and the older lady, I assume the manager or owner, is always rude and just cares about the money their customers bring in. I found out that all of their cakes are frozen for weeks/months before they even sell them. Even if you order before hand. They just defrost them and decorate them how you want. I was so excited to see a NBC opening close by! The people are always nice, there are always samples inside AND I've never been disappointed with any of their cakes. We were even going to have them do our wedding cake (the only reason we're not using them is because we're having a destination wedding instead).
